Correct, but Vince asked Rey to wear the mask again when he signed with the WWE. I'm not sure how it works in Mexico, but if I'm correct, he can't wear it if he wrestled for a Mexican promotion.

Yes, most people would be shunned in Mexico for putting it back on. I think people appreciate that WCW aren't the harbringers of tradition, and that the only luchador to crack North America deserves better than a hair vs mask match with Kevin Gash.

Well having Edge, Punk and Hardy go at it would be so much more interesting than seeing HHH get his 14th title reign, maybe he can defend it twice more that night and finally tie Ric Flair's record.
