I caught a 20 pound snapping turtle once; and I knew what it was pulling it up because I had seen it early. But fishing's not really my thing.

It is, and it's easy for beginners to pick up and retain. But the lift does take practice...I've been dragged once, and I've lost my balance and fallen out at the end a couple of times.

I have issues with heights as well - well it's mostly a fear of falling onto something that won't break my fall. I can't even get on a ladder half the time.
