I think just comments and bonus footage would do, documentaries about a single wrestler are boring, no matter who they're about. Most of it is about idolising other wrestlers too, but I don't think Angle ever did that, 'cos he did the "real wrestling" instead. Did they not get him winning his gold medal on TV? They never show footage of it.
You can have a couple of tag matches, like his one with Benoit against Rey and Edge. Scratch that. WWE format, so that means no Benoit. That honour is reserved for Triple H only. But yeah, not too many matches with more than two guys in them. Definitely not Armageddon HIAC.
This is just WWE years I take it, so first disc would be roughly when he had hair. You'd have him winning the title, his matches with Stone Cold, Triple H and Rock, maybe some Invasion stuff. Shane McMahon at KOTR, winning KOTR the year before that. Making Hogan tap would be good as a highlight.
Next disc would be his best years. The years when he was on top, really. 2003-2004. His feud with Lesnar, two or three matches. His tag match with Benoit. Neck surgery, and all the emotions that go with it. His comeback. His feud with Eddie and his WM and SummerSlam matches. Maybe a comment on his time as GM.
2005-2006. What the fuck did he do in 2005? My memory is bad. Inevitably, on a WWE DVD, his feud with Cena. Oh, and his matches with Michaels. All three. God, how did I forget that? Why did I not edit my idiocy out? Never mind. Any other standout matches. Just group the matches in 2006, before his winddown in ECW. That in mind, his match with Orton at ONS is just good enough to get on it. If it's chronological, that should be it. If not, make Taker/Angle the last one on it.
Bonus should be the usual stuff. A couple of lesser known matches maybe. An interview. Never before seen footage of something - him at ECW maybe, if it still exists. Maybe that pizza advert too. Would be sweet.
No TNA stuff, like I said. Unless this is a hypothetical situation where WWE has bought TNA or something. One match with Joe, one with Styles and his matches in Japan with Nagata and Lesnar. Done.
