History of WWE Championship or Hogan Anthology

v14ever

Occasional Pre-Show
I had a question to pose to all you guys. Which would be a better buy? The history of the WWE Championship? Or the Hulk Hogan Anthology 4-disc set?

I already have the last Hogan two-disc DVD that came out a few years ago, and feel pretty "Hoganed out". But since it is 4 discs, I would definitely look forward to any new matches they put out.

The History of the WWE Championship sounds interesting because it covers a lot of decades and has matches I haven't seen or haven't seen in a while.

Let me know which one would be a better buy.

I own the History set, and will be purchasing the hogan set. The history set is a great collection of matches that were voted on by the fans at wwe.com. Jim Ross hosts and gives intro's to each match. I personally believe that's it's one of the best sets that WWE has released. I feel, as well as others may feel, that there are matches missing. But how could possibly make a set like this that makes everyone happy? The ones they chose are truly some of the best matches of all time.

Jim Ross giving an intro into each match is whats definitely swaying my decision to get that. The one reason I would by the Hogan DVD is to watch past and present wrestler's perspectives on him. That's where WWE screwed up with Undertaker's recent DVD. There was noone commenting on him at all through it. I think that addition would have made it a better package.

Going off-topic, I just got ECW's Most Extreme Matches (by "got" I mean ordered of the internet) on DVD and it seems to be a pretty good buy. I'd say the History as I get bored when a DVD just focuses on one wrestler, however iconic or historic.

i got history and it has alot of good matches on it

i doubt i buy hogans dvd it just doesn't look interesting

now brian pillman dvd looks alot better then hogans

i also need to get brets dvd

I'll get both although I have most of the matches on the WWE Championship D.V.D. and I are'nt a fan of Hogan.

I don't own either, but I am getting the Hogan Anthology. Hogan's legacy is the greatest ever. It's cool to see classic wrestling from Japan, to the AWA, to the WWE, to WCW and back again looking at 3 decades of immortality starting from 1979 when he faced Ted DiBiase in the WWE for his WWE debut. It will take us through time in wrestling all over 3 decades long.

As I was introduced to wrestling (well, WWE) in the Attitude era, I doubt I'd be interested in Hogan's DVD. Now, if you give me Stone Cold's...

I'll be getting the WWE championship dvd when I next get paid. Looks like a very interesting view. Doubt very much whether I will bother to get Hogans. Got the last one Hogan did with the wwe

it depends on what you like more. if you love hogan, go woth his dvd. if you like a bunch of wrestlers, go with the wwe championship dvd. i might go with the hogan cuz im a pretty big fan of his. (except all his comebacks)

i've got the history.. and its really good, but im also probably gooing to get the hogan dvd, if you like hogan than i think u should get that, if you think he is just ok get history...

I looked through your posts and about half of them were spam so you now have:

I would go for the history of the WWE championship. I have one question though, does it include the world championship and undisputed championship in it's history?
