Is CM Punk too small?

I'm not even going to read these 10 pages so I'm probably just reapeating what everybody else is saying: This is not 1986, wrestling (to a degree) has moved beyond the limitions of huge physiques.

If Punk wasn't over, if he wasn't selling merch and selling PPVs then we would know his physique was limiting him. Then we'd know he wasn't successful and he was, indeed, too small.

I don't understand the logic behind much of what goes on in these forums. "CM Punk is small, people aren't going to be able to take him seriously." How can you make that argument? I'm sorry, that's absolutely fucking ricockulous.

He's one of the top 3 guys in the entire company, if his size was a hinderence or an "issue" then he wouldn't have gotten to where he is today. I'm not a massive Punk fan but even I will concede that, looking at where Punk is in his career, his size is not an issue.

Idiots.

C.M. Punk just had a great match with The Undertaker, who is regarded as "The best big man in the business." That, to me, answers this question alone.I will give you this. A lot of people his size, wether those on this thread would like to believe it or not, would have a hard time being successful. Punk is a different story.

What Punk lacks in size, he makes up for with charisma, innovation, ring presence, and knowledge of Professional wrestling as a whole. C.M. Punk has been built up to be believable in matches against people like the Undertaker, The Rock, John Cena, ect.

I think that anyone, regardless of size (Except you, Hornswoggle, Fuck you) Can get over with those things

This would've been an understandable debate when he was first in the "new" ECW, but he's obviously proven that his lack of size is not a hinderence to his ability to get over as a top guy.

ironically, he was bigger during his ecw run. over the years, it looked like he lost like 15 pounds. his chest got a lot smaller

His size is a non-issue. AJ Styles is the best in-ring performer in the business today and he is definitely not the biggest. This could have been an issue say 15 to 20 years ago, but not now.
