Joe's Gonna Kill You
The Hunt is On
And if the group were made up of people with tons of past accomplishments (don't know why this matters anyways) people will complain that TNA only uses established talent and doesn't make "stars"

To begin with, we'll go with anyone that could be a challenge for the upper midcard TNA guys. None of the three members so far are any serious threat to Angle, Joe, Sting or anyone else they've fought.

Like who And Docs and Knoxs lack of past accomplishment has no bearing on them being seen as "threats"
Crimson, Anderson, Morgan, Pope.Like who "
Why does it matter? Alright, we'll go with that. In other words, this could be JTG, Robbie E and David Sammartino out there as Aces and 8's and it would be the same result. See why that makes no sense? Also, I'd be fine with them using established stars, new guys or whatever they used if those guys actually won something of note.
My point is what they've done is irrelevant to them being threats
Yeah, it kind of does. These guys have never won anything or beaten anybody, so why in the world would I believe they can beat the biggest names ever? Look at the reaction when D-Von was revealed. Most people said "D-Von??? REALLY?" That's because D-Von isn't a guy people buy as a big deal in singles matches. The same is true for both guys guys brought in. It's like bringing in three jobbers to fight together. It doesn't make them a threat, but rather three guys who are just together and have to be beaten up together.
Why am I arguing with you anyway? It's TNA so they can do no wrong.
You make them threats by having them beat people NOW they aren't seen as threats by many because they lose too often. If they were also were to debut new talent In the group are those guys not threats because they have no past accomplishments how is any New incoming talent supposed to be seen as a threat
These aren't new guys, though. These guys already have reputations as nothings and TNA isn't doing anything to lead us to believe that they've somehow changed. They still lose all the time.
If they were a group of rookies, you'd have a point. But they aren't and you don't.
So then you're willing to admit that so far, this angle has sucked, no?
The whole point of an outside angle is to get the fans to legitimately believe that the invading army is a credible threat to your guys. It's as old as time. WCW did it with the nWo, fuck, WWE managed it with some rookies.
If even you can't take the Aces & 8's as a legitimate threat to the TNA roster, than how is this succeeding? I'd really like to know
It's succeeding in providing me with entertaining TV
I'm a complete moron because I enjoy something on TV that makes sense
I have no idea whatsoever
