Maybe so, but Vince could probably still sue. If I remember correctly he filed several cease-and-desist orders to WCW whenever a WWF guy would go over there and if his gimmick was even remotely similar. Pretty sure that's why guys like Beefcake and Bossman had 9000 different names in WCW.
