Ok i am sorry if this has been done already but i couldnt find it. so i have been amazed with this feud really. although there has only beeen 3 matches (correct if im wrong) but it has good storyline and the matches have been great and really hope it lasts longer. anyway what do you think of this feud. have you enjoyed it, absolutely hated it dont mind it. i love it at the moment.

I was so scared watching ECW. Not only did The Hurricane get uber-pops when he came out, he had a sweet ass match with Paul Burchill. A Powerslam off the top rope in a TV match? Are you serious? Excellent. This is exactly what ECw should be all about, the undercard stealing show, since they make up the show. A nice little feud that would have gone on heat in years past, backed up by a few nice promos and a babe in Katie Lea.

God I want to see them at Hell In a Cell with Burchill throwing Helms off the cage. Can we get a petition going for that?

Im really happy with this feud, its good and the matches have been exciting and make me want to watch, and that powerslam of the top rope was amazing plus some unusual offence. ECW needs to keep this up.

This feud has been great in the month it's gone on. I've seen it since the beginning and last week with the Abraham Washington Show between Birchill and Helms was solid too. They tore the house down this past Tuesday night on ECW. Katie Lea Birchill is a total babe and she adds a nice addition to the feud. I don't want Hurricane to get a diva to join his side, just keep it between the 3 superstars. I really hope they get on a ppv card, although that's highly unlikely but they have done a hell of a job so far and it looks like this is only the beginning of this feud.

I'm just amazed to see something that resembles an actual storyline going on, on a WWE program in this day and age. Trying to deduce the identity of the Hurricane, and is it or isn't it Gregory Helms.

I've been thoroughly entertained by this program since its inception. But it is nice to see the company branching out by putting together more feuds on TV as opposed to just having people wrestle random opponents week in and week out.

i think they've had 4 matches now. but ya i love this feud. great matches between two great athletes. this is realy y i love ecw. between this feud, the shamus goldust feud, christian vs regal, and ryder v benjamin. who ever is running ecw is doing things right. using these great established midcarders to develope the new talent is perfect. and making koslov and jackson a team was very unexpected to me.

This feud is something exceptional really. Its like these guys dont need promo's and stuff, they tell their stories in the ring. I'm really liking it. I'd hope that Burchill wins sometimes as to add at least some credibility. Because his character has been made into something that loses all the time but has the potential to be a winner. As for Hurricane Helms that guy has been revived. Yet another example that ECW is like some reviving potion for guy who dont have a lot of things going on for them. Anyway I'm glad to see this kind of action going on and I hope we'll get to see more.

Frankly, I was stoked when I first saw that Hurricane was returning. I've seen some of his stuff when he was Hurricane originally and am delighted that they seem to be moving him with the times, making his character still comic book, but a bit on the darker grittier edge of things. Then they matched him with Burchill, another great move. Burchill needed something do do to try to bring him back to credibility rather than just jobbing to debut wrestlers. This helps them both.

The matches they've put on are some of the best that ECW has seen in recent times. I'm hoping that these two eventually rise to championship contendership, but for now, I enjoy that they're keeping this feud strictly a personal one.

This feud has me watching ecw at the moment. Seriously, there were times in the past when i'd watch it and fast forward thru the entire episode.(I dvr ecw). Besides this feud ecw has had some really good stuff going on lately and the matches have been great for being on tv and not ppv. The helms/burchill match this past week was incredible, and the best i've seen in a while. Powerslam from the top, on free tv? Holy shit. This is exactly what ecw needs to be about. Helms and burchill's interactions have been good and their matches have been excellent. I hope this feud goes on a bit longer and maybe even get them involved in the ecw title picture. Great story so far.

Gregory Helms is easily one of the most underrated wrestlers on the WWE roster. Back in the day, his matches were severely entertaining, I don't care who you are. The Hurricane is a fun character and that's that. It gets backed up with the fact that he can wrestle.
On the other hand, I believe that Paul Burchill is also very underrated on the WWE roster. He has floated from gimmick to gimmick and I believe that this feud may be just what the doctor ordered for both of these guys, especially Burchill.
The matches have been excellent and the mic work on both sides has been pretty good also. A good story is being told and the promos have been fun. I would like to say that I hope that ECW continues this trend, but I doubt it. They will squash both of them soon for sure, wouldn't want some of the pushed wrestlers to lose their spot.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of this feud I didnt think any Hurricane angle would be more than a hokey throwback to WWEs yesteryears of Repoman Gobbly Gooker The Goon and so forth Hurricane has been putting on the matches of his career lately...Outside of his work with the Jung Dragons as a member of Three Count or his feud with Matt Hardy as the longest reigning Cruiserweight champ of all time trying to break into the midcard this is the best I've EVER seen him.

Burchill has looked good as well and has done everything on his end to ensure that this is the feud that will put his name in our mouths. Gotta love the japaneese strong-style inspire moveset. Hes shown growth far beyond the pettiful pirate we all use to know and nod at in discontent. And even though his Pelee kick is nowhere NEAR AJ's its fun to watch him put his own slightly less acrobatic spin on it.

It's good to see both Helms and Burchill get some TV time in a wrestling perspective. They are both doing a decent job at a mid card feud too. Helms has looked as good as he ever has and Burchill like wise has looked great. Their match's have been solid and the mic time they are both getting is also doing great.

All in all it's a nice solid mid card feud, not the most exciting thing on ECW, but solid.

Are people really calling that match PPV-quality? I'm a massively huge Hurricane mark, but that match wasn't anything spectacular. It was a good match, and it's a good feud, and anything with The Hurricane makes me happy, but it wasn't anything more than enjoyable.
I'm glad we're getting a proper storyline, and I love hearing all the little comic book references Striker throws out, as I am a bit of a comic nerd myself.

I think it's awesome that ECW and Smackdown have been continuously good shows, with solid wrestling. I also think it's awesome that I think that, because typically I've been a RAW fan. Personally, I love Shane Helms, and have loved the Hurricane since his character's inception with Stone Cold to his promos with the Rock back in the day. Should be a decent program, finally something for Burchill to do. Kudos for building younger guys into future stars.

Its been a good feud actually. Burchill was starting to disappear, having debuted, or redebuted anyway, very strongly last year. Hurricane has come back to instant popularity and I think they can both elevate each other. In all likelihood, if Paul Burchill comes out of this feud on top, and there is nothing to suggest that he won't, he will instantly be number one conteder material, and that can only be a good thing for a man whose last feud was in April.

It may seem that because I'm british I support the British guys and gals but its not that. I think that the WWE doesn't push many superstars and divas that aren't American. I think the feud has been great so far but how about a swerve involving Katie Lea:

Have Katie Lea start to develop a crush on The Hurricane but not Gregory Helms. This wouldn't help her brothers crusade to reveal them as the same person. This will eventually end with Katie being moved to SmackDown as a face due to her involvement with The Hurricane and a push for both Paul and Helms.

On SmackDown, Katie can be pushed as a face but still using her gothic image in the women's championship picture, which has only one face diva competing for it (Melina). In 2008, Th Burchills had great feuds with Mickie James and Mr. Kennedy/Kofi Kingston but got burried afterwards. Katie's face push could continue into 2010 with a crush on a face mid card star developing a relationship. This could lead to an attack on that superstar by a masked assailant wearing clothes like Jack the Ripper. With it being revealed as Paul the Ripper. It could make his character more gothic like Katie's and have a fued with Paul and a heel diva vs. Katie and a face midcarder. Katie could then turn on her partner making a strong heel and gothic partnership that could rule SmackDown's Midcard and Divas division.

What do you think?

I think that's an extremely good idea which would be entertaining and give everyone involved some well-deserved screen time. I would love to see it.

I really enjoyed the match these two had on ECW last week, easily one of the better matches I've seen on ECW in quite a while. I'm glad they're finally using Burchill for something other than jobbing, though honestly I'm sure this feud is just a way to build Hurricane up after a long absence from the ring. He looked like he hasn't lost a step either, so I was rather impressed with him.

I'm definitely enjoying this feud, hopefully they keep it going. Maybe we could even have a PPV match, but probably not, because the WWE refuses to give ECW more than one match on each PPV.

This feud is really good so far. It has the potential to be on a Pay Per View if only they had an ECW mid-card title to feud over.
Burchill is no longer a jobber, which I am glad about, because I have seen during this feud that he does have a lot of talent.

I don't understand why Paul Burchill had to win their last match. The commentators made it sound as if their feud is over, and Paul won.

Paul brings nothing to the table. He has no gimmick, gets absolutely no reaction, and cannot get me to care about him. Contrast this with The Hurricane who is massively over, has great ring skills, good mic skills, and the greatest gimmick ever. The Hurricane is ECW Championship material, if only they would push him more. He gets cheered routinely, and he's just plain awesome.

Paul Burchill could shank a baby and he wouldn't get any heat. He's just not good at it. So it puzzles me why he had to win the last match in the feud.

I was thinking something similar but more on the opinion that she should have an alter-ego like Helms does with the Hurricane and assist him every now and then. This then can enrage Paul because now not only is he insulted that Helms is mocking his intelligence... but he suspects that his sister might be in on it, too. This then could eventually end up with a split of the siblings, Katie Lea drop's her last name and becomes a competitor for some diva championship.

This feud isn't necessarily getting played out, but it does need to step up to another level. Katie Lea should def be involved to a degree. Maybe develop a crush and help Hurricane for a little bit, but I don't know for sure right now. They are putting on good matches and it is back and forth with no clear cut winner, so this feud won't end anytime soon. Hurricane is really doing well right now and Paul is doing a really nice job in developing.

Well, I'm very, very happy to see that the feud will continue. This is one of the few real storylines going in the WWE and it's highly enjoyable. Plus, Paul and Hurricane have great matches. As long as Hurricane comes out in this feud on top (and hopefully gets to challenge for the ECW title) I'll be happy.

Doc, I'm with you about being happy the feud goes on, and hoping that Hurricane ends up on top, but I don't agree with him getting a title shot. At least not yet. This is the first thing he has going since returning full time, and it's working. Don't rush it, and don't push him too fast. Let this feud run it's course, and then when it's done, give Hurricane another feud to work for a while, and then either move him to another show, or let him go for the champ, depending on who it is. If someone like Ryder or Regal ends up with the belt in 6 months, then I can see him realistically going for the belt, and "saving" ECW from the forces of evil...

I've watched the most recent activity between Hurricane and Paul Burchill and I have to say I'm very much enjoying the way they're developing this. Frankly, I hate when two who "feud" face each other a couple of times and then the feud suddenly disappears in a poof of smoke. Things are starting to escalate gradually and that's pretty rare for ECW given their time constraints, especially since this feud doesn't involve the championship. Furthermore, it's a lovely overblown hero vs. overblown villain thing. The feud I'd love to see next for Hurricane is vs. William Regal. Regal is such a very...comic book worthy villain that such a feud would be perfect.

Also...I may just be seeing things, but most recently when the false Hurricane came up and was unmasked...well, was it just me or did he look suspiciously like Brian Kendrick? And if so...is this a hint we'll see him returning to ECW. I could be wrong about this...but it sure looked like him.
