How to make WM XXX Exciting and must-see in a few steps.

Championship Contender
I'm infamous for my anti-DB crusades and campaigns but I've been enjoying the segments with HHH, and The Authority-Batista-Orton story so much that I perceive it by far as the BEST thing going into and about Wrestlemania XXX.

That being said, the following are the matches that actually are Wrestlemania-worthy, unlike the garbage we're getting right now. Of course Bryan-HHH and Orton vs Batista vs ? stays the same, CM Punk or no CM Punk.

1. 4-teams match for the tag team titles.
The Wyatts vs Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs Real Americans vs The Shield.
OR
Take out any one team if they must have New age Outlaws in it.

2. US title
Dean Ambrose vs Big Show or Mark Henry.
Reason:- To glorify the US title, to let Dean shine on the big stage, ALONE, and in the process make him stand victorious over one of the larger opponents because the chemistry between them would be amazing and Ambrose's heelish tactics for the victory and in the build-up, amusing.

3. Divas garbage/filler match or whatever.

4. HHH vs Daniel Bryan, same.

5. Randy Orton vs Batista vs ?

As for the last peice of the puzzle and some 2-3 undercard matches, I have no idea. What does one do when all the spots are filled? Tag titles, US title, and one cannot make any more triple threat matches? And you can't even have MITB. Or any random throw-away 6-man tag.

A 30-man battle royal?

I believe the WWE made a foolish mistake by booking their biggest star in John Cena with a fat wrestler with a creepy gimmick. This match would be alright for an ordinary ppv, and a big deal for Summerslam, but WM ? Not so much. All of this at a time when numerous tag-teams could "step up" against the Wyatt fanmily combined as a unit. Even a tag team featuring John Cena, Sheamus, and may be Christian? But IMO it'd have been a big deal and also would've given many other wrestlers a spot on the card instead of a pointless battle royal.

6. The Wyatt Family vs John Cena, Sheamus and Christian/Dolph Ziggler/ ?

and then you could have your 20-man or even 30-man battle royal with all the jobber tag-teams which currently occupy the WM XXX card, including Los Matadores and Rybaxel.

IMO, I just realized that CM Punk is the missing link. The card that has been shaped up lacks a unity which only CM Punk's presence could make better. Daniel Bryan and his fans could've gotten a sufficient reward in a big victory as a participant in a babyface tag-team that'd also be supported by Hulk Hogan. Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and Sheamus vs Wyatt Family would be organic. If only CM Punk was there. And if the Randy Orton-Batista match would've been shitted on so much, they could've always altered the Punk-HHH winner stipulation. In that case, here's what the WM XXX card would look like, and THAT would look like a wrestlemania.

1. Fatal-4-way for the tag team titles.
The Usos/Outlaws vs Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs Real Americans vs The Shield.

3. Divas match.

4. The Wyatt Family vs Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Sheamus.

5. HHH vs CM Punk (stipulation of being added in the ME, or no stipulation).

6. Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar.

7. WWE WHC
Randy Orton vs Batista. OR Randy Orton vs Batista vs CM Punk/HHH.

Of course, there're still numerous wrestlers like Big E, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, etc. left without a match. I wouldn't mind a 20-man battle royal with a few of these, and some okay talent like Los Matadores, 3MB or Rybaxel. But the main card should be looking like the above.

well, there are rumors that CM Punk was "Promised" a Royal Rumble victory and main event title match at WM XXX to try and convince him to resign with WWE after his current contract expires in July 2014...this was BEFORE Batista agreed to return to WWE...

WWE dropped the ball BIG TIME with WM XXX...here's what the card was SUPPOSED to be according to those rumors:

WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar
(this was the plan because Rock committed to WM XXX, but backed out cause he got injured after his match with Cena last year)

Undertaker vs. John Cena
(this is the match that should happen!!!)

Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan
(this would be the ONLY match to still happen)

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family
(they should have saved this for WM instead of the EC PPV and RAW)

those matches alone would've made this one awesome WM IMO

as for the rest of the card, instead of the 30-Man Battle Royal, I would've done...

10-Man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Big E vs. Christian vs. Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Fandango vs. Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
(bring the prestige back to the IC title and have all these guys cut promos that they WANT the title)

Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship:
The Uso's vs. The Rhodes Brothers vs. The Real Americans vs. The New Age Outlaws

Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational:
AJ Lee vs. Tamina Snuka vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Layla vs. Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella vs. Cameron vs. Emma vs. Eva Marie vs. Aksana vs. Summer Rae vs. Alicia Fox vs. Rosa Mendes
(another match I would keep as well to get EVERY Diva on the card)

that's what WM 30 should have looked like IMO...

I have no idea what Batista, Big Show, Kane and Mark Henry would do at WM 30 tho.

the following superstars have no business whatsoever being on the card:

Los Matadores
Santino Marella
The Great Khali
Brodus Clay
Heath Slater
Sin Cara
Jinder Mahal
Titus O'Neil
Justin Gabriel
Zack Ryder
Darren Young
Drew McIntyre
R-Truth
Ryback
Curtis Axel

Brilliant post! I agree about quite a few superstars NOT DESERVING to be at WM XXX, not unless if it's the dark match anyways. And I'd even include the Usos in it, at the risk of seeming like a jerk or being biased. Nonetheless, the matches you suggested are amazing, except that 10-man ladder match for the IC title is too unrealistic and quixotic and unfortunately, we would be lucky to get a normal fatal-4-way for the IC title! save a ladder match. Also, I'm not so sure if 8-man ladder matches have ever been as good as 6-man, the MITB that is. Unless if it's 3 or 4 teams TLC, so many man battling in a single ladder match is too much, IMO. 6 men competing is preferrable, and triple threat ladder matches the most exciting.

I didn't know it was supposed to be CM Punk vs Randy Orton for the WWE WHC, and that he was begged to resign with that offer, in which case, he should have! But surely, Undertaker vs John Cena would've closed the show? I believe Punk wanted(and I saw an interview on youtube from Wrestlemania 29 conference or something in which he's wearing a Cesaro shirt), to close it, he says he's been wanting that all his life ever since he wanted to be a pro-wrestler. To close the show, not a streak match with Taker, not a match with Jericho, not a match with Orton where he's not closing the show.

By the bye, with matches like John Cena vs Taker, The Rock vs Brock, CM Punk vs Randy Orton for the WWE WHC, the Wrestlemania XXX card looks just unimaginable and too good to be true, but if you think about it, we've already gotten such cards with triple main-events, Example:- Wrestlemania 28. And I do believe we deserved something like this, or at least something like the card I proposed.

Here is this thread:

OP: "Here's what I personally want to see, don't you all think it's great"
Post 2: "I have zero evidence of this, but here's what I heard from someone who probably made it up"
Post 3: "I buy the second post because that's what I want to see"

Guys have egos. The card they have looks great. We can fantasy book all day and get butthurt that the didn't do exactly what we wanted.

Plus you have NO IDEA who they will actually book wrestlemania or the shows after. Remember how a few weeks ago everyone was upset that Bryan wasn't booked in the title match? Well, JR was on a radio show around that time and said "I won't believe he's not in the match until it happens. They still have time to play with the story. It's not set in stone". Take that as an education in pro wrestling from good ol' JR, because he's right.
