We all just saw..Triple said the board of directors have taken away vince's duties and triple h is now handling the day to day operations. Obviously this is just for Tv but i think it also could be a slow way of passing it to Triple H completely. What are your thoughts on this?

Well just going to say that Vince still owns the company in real life.

But in character, We're are going into a new era of wrestling, We're still in the PG Era, but with Triple H's experience, backstage work with superstars, not to mention his wife is the Head of Creative, good things are happening.

I will probably get beat to the post about the comments of Triple H tonight so feel free to merge this. Vince has pulled two great things in the past month with CM Punk going on his rave and Triple H returning tonight to take over the company. I must say... Wow....

But I did think two things tonight that reminded me of TNA. One, since CM Punk's rant, the mention of other going to other promotions has been mentioned, ROH has been talked about but I heard Cena say he will walk onto another television show and keep on doing what he's doing. Ending it with 'Brotha.' Which made me think he was referencing Hulk Hogan in TNA. Then Triple H coming out and relieving Vince of his duties. I wouldn't have thought about this until I started thinking about Cena saying 'Brotha' but Vince being relieved of his duties somehow reminded me of when Dixie was forced out of her duties. So. One, I felt like WWE wanted to put some spotlight on another promotion and two, I felt like WWE stepped on TNA and took the Dixie firing and made it 100x better. Any thoughts?

This is a monumental night. Not only has Vince (supposedly) been written off WWE television for the unforseeable future but Triple H has taken the role as the sole man-in-charge at World Wrestling Entertainment. There's definitely going to be threads about it all but let's just keep it all in here.

Discuss and NO SPAMMING!!

We havent seen The end of vince they did this whole end of the era crap back in 99 when stone colde became ceo then vince came back like 2 weeks later im sure we will see vince again

Even when WWE do the best TV & storyline that the IWC has been begging for recently, there are still complaints. My god, please never watch again because you obviously aren't a fan.

The whole landscape of the WWE has CHANGED. Who know's whats going to happen now?! This is GREAT tv.

hahahahahaha...

wanna know what this is? A way for them to pass off Cena's firing and a way to get Hunter back on tv without actually wrestling.

This has absolutly nothing to do with Triple H eventually taking over for Vince.

Another complaint, damn? 1. Most of times Vince's been fired, it was usually by one of his rivals and even that was just a few times, This time the Board of Directors and The McMahon family are taking Vince out of office. This was actually good acting, Do you know how it feels to run a company for 30 years, then one day you wake up one night and have it all sucked away from u without even having the power to fight back. It's like seeing one of your parents die. Just be happy that now HHH's in office we may see more edgier TV yet still PG.

It's pretty safe to say we have our new era, at least Kayfabe wise... I'm now incredibly interested in what future Raws will bring us... is the end of the GM? I bloody hope so, this has just brought yet more questions onto the table about... well everything, yet another Curveball thrown by the WWE & I couldn't be happier.

I just hope that Triple H reveal's Kevin Nash as the RAW GM somewhere down the line. This what we had tonight is a taste of things to come in the WWE with Stephanie & Triple H taking over the company soon. And Trips is trilled to death about it!

vince hasn't been looking to good lately, seems to have lost a lot of muscle/weight don't know if he's sick or just stopped "working out". If he's stopped keeping himself in huge shape maybe he is going off tv for good. He's still in charge but maybe he wants to step back and enjoy life for a while..

It wouldn't suprise me if either Waltman or Nash are named the GM of raw now with HHH in "control". The championship match was put off till next week why do I have a feeling that HHH will announce his first move is to bring back CM Punk and the Miz/Mysterio match will now be for the #1 contender..

Either way I think it's good to get HHH back on tv and in a non wrestling role..

i was just thinking that maybe the whole gm crap could be over they could say triple h was the gm all along and they wanted to promote him to chairman i sure hope so anyways .

Definitely a shocking ending but a great one. The show ended tonight with more cliffhangers and unanswered questions to use as hooks to get people to tune in next week to see what happens.

For instance, will there actually be finals for the WWE Championship tournament? Will CM Punk make some sort of appearance on Raw? Could Alberto Del Rio cash in his MITB briefcase next week at some point? People are also going to be wondering what's going to happen under Triple H's watch and with Vince "out of the way", this leaves the door open for Triple H to "renegotiate" with CM Punk and bring him back into the company as WWE Champion as this is one of the "questionable business decisions" that Triple H referred to.

That was a great moment. Basically, two shows in a row has me just enthralled. Watching VKM crying in the ring as the fans chanted 'thank you Vince' and HHH sadly walked up the ramp as it fades to black, just wow. I don't know if this is a new ERA or not, but they are certainly putting up a solid effort.

I don't know what the Game will do next, or if VKM will walk off into the sunset without struggle, but I'm tuning in to find out. And I'm excited.

And I got to see Ryder tonight on top of it all!

I think Vince has a stake in ownership in ROH in real life. Much like he did in ECW when they needed money Vince would lend Heyman money but nobody knew about it. ROH and Colt Cabana do not get mentioned if there isn't an agreement in place. Just look at the similarities between ECW and ROH as it relates to TV deals and being mentioned on WWE tv. Vince will be on ROH sooner rather than later and in essence create his own rival for WWE. CM Punk will also coinsidently return to ROH.

The WWE dropped the ball when they acquired WCW and have learned from this, the WWE needs competition is order to create controversy and interest.

I did NOT like how this went down, I seriously thought Cena would get "fired" so he could have some time off, he deserves it, but I did like Triple H coming down to tell Vince he's out. It was quite sad but Cena should have still been "fired".

The fact of the matter is is that the aftermath of the CM Punk angle was always going to be an anti-climax simply due to the circumstances around it. The question, therefore, was how much of an anti-climax it was going to be.

With that in mind, I can honestly say I was pleased and somewhat impressed with this development.

you gotta remember all the stupid decisions the anonymous gm made so i hope it isnt triple h. maybe they just hire a new one or just fire the computer one. but with hhh as the chairman...If he is in reality I think well see the product we've been wanting with guys from the attitude era now in charge. Don't forget the role the undertaker will play backstage. but this was a great raw and we'll see more like it in the future

I think this turns into a Vince/HHH power struggle. Vince is going to bring Punk back in to fight for him, and in return deliver on all the things Punk wants in his contract. It's pro wrestling after all, even a board of directors power struggle will turn into a match with stipulations.

There always has to be complaints. If you're going to whine, just don't watch. Now back on topic...

I must admit... I JUMPED at the sound of the first chord in Triple H's theme. I was going nuts. I knew he was going to say that he was "taking over" by the way he looked and acted. This was a monumental moment in WWE history. C'mon guys, you can't complain. WWE is getting exciting!

that would be pretty epic but in order for them to become a threat he would have bring in some names that people actually recognize.if he did that it could be attitude era all over again. and i for one would be all for it but i doubt that would happen tho wishful thinking. but never say never i guess.

No matter how much I want/wanted John Cena to get fired I knew it wouldn't happen from the moment that stipulation was made. I'm truely furious, looks like we're back to John Cena's five moves and his 'super cena' ways (Winning every single match after the challenger has litterally broke him down) The days of WWE being very horrendous have returned ...

There will be no Vince/HHH power-struggle. (Storyline Wise) HHH has taken control of the WWE, leaving Vince with utterly no power, The Board of The Directors and The Family all have sided against Vince, He has no power. Therefore no struggle.

A few people think this angle is stupid, Not me, I believe this is the start of something new something refreshing maybe. I hope good-great things spawn from this turn about. I rreally enjoyed the last promo.

Great angle that was great simply great. I'm thinking we're gonna get a power struggle down the line with Vince convincing Cm Punk to help him get his company back.
