Good Wrestlers You Hate/Bad Wrestlers You love

Pick a wrestler who, no matter how charismatic or technically sound, you hate. And a wrestler who's bland/talentless that you love.

Triple H: Good at everything. But great at nothing.

Akeem: Sucks at everything but more entertaining than most.

Shawn Michaels: Technically sound in the ring, still hate him

Diamond Dallas Page: Bad in the ring, but i still marked for him. I hate the word "mark(ed)"

Shelton Benjamin-Good wrestler,does nothing.
Charliee Haas-Boring sack of crap but so boring its funny.

Im sorry, I cant help rep you my King:(. You think that if Hogan sucked so much, the totally non connected from the Wrestling world wouldn't know who he is. I just asked my non connected boss, and she knew hogan, not a clue who Shawn Michaels is. Point Hogan.

I care? The thread is entitled "Good wrestlers YOU hate" so why would I care what your boss thinks?

Plus, hasn't Hogan done other things apart from wrestle? He has a reality show. He's been in movies. Silly Hogan fans thinking it's all to do with the wrestling.

Hardcore Holly: Awesome dropkick, but god damn.. do something with yourself man! (He could start by changing the tights he's worn for the last 10 years).
Mick Foley: He's not so much terrible, as he is limited. Can still deliver great promos and entertain a crowd.

I hate him. But not the point. f course more people are going to have heard of him. He has the movies market as well as the MTV market.

Shawn Michaels: Has put on some great matches, I'll admit, but I still think he's a major douche and should retire.

Snitsky: The most complex character that the WWE has ever written in a long time. The first thing he did was kill Kane and Lita's baby. Then he grew into having a foot fetish and having an awesome beard. His alliances with Heidenreich and Tomko were both hysterical and awesome. Then he shaves all of his hair and has green teeth.

Snitsky rules.

For what its worth, I would watch Shawn Michaels over Hulk Hogan anyday. Sure, Hogan did a lot for the business, but I still don't like him at all. As for Shawn Michaels, he is probably the most consistant wrestler in history, and I am a big fan of his.

Now, to address this thread...

Good wrestler I hate: I guess I should say "loved wrestler I hate," and that would be Hulk Hogan.

Bad wrestler I love: Say what you will, but I like Batista. He's not a good wrestler, by traditional wrestling standards, but I think he is entertaining to watch nonetheless.

Rey Mysterio- I hate the guy. Hate him, hate him, hate him. He's a little jumping bean that I don't like to watch and has never really had an interesting character.

The Great Khali- Yes, I actually like him. He serves his purpose, and has some comical moments. Khali FTW.

Good wrestler that I hate: Shane Douglass, i respect the hell out of the guy and i watch his matches all the time (mostly to learn) but he just bores me. He is fun to watch sometimes but he is the only guy i can think of.

Bad wrestler that i love: Matt Hardy, he is just a really boring version of his old self but i seem to convince myself by the next week that he is awesome

By the way, popularity has nothing to do with in-ring talent and many more people in the business have more respect for HBK than Hogan.

Kurt Angle: Technically sound, great wrestler, I just never really got into him. I can't say I HATE him, he's just more or less "meh" to me. Maybe its the fact that he's built up so much, like how everyone said The Matrix was revolutionary and it essentially was "slightly better slow motion imagery". Not necessarily bad, just not worth the build.

Doink: I don't like gimmicks all too much, and he wasn't that great of a wrestler, but for some reason, I'd love to see someone else put on the Doink costume and bring that character back.

Good guys I hate.

Hogan: I always found him to be thoroughly uninteresting and resented having him shoved down my throat like the phallus of a poor quality rent bo... resented having him shoved down my throat. *ahem*

HHH: It's not so much that I hate him, it's just that he's been on my TV for so god damn long, yet I still can't think of a single particually memorable match or moment involving him. He's always seemed incredibly average to me.

JBL: Now I'm taking a slightly different tack here and moving away from the ring and referring to his commentary here. I've never understood (nor had the inclination to start and argument to find out why) such a large number of people around here seemed to regard his ability with anyone beyond contempt. As far as I recall his entire time at the announce table seemed to revolve around him delivering the same seven or eight soliloquies every week, and not even in the tolerable 'Michael Cole - Best Pure Striker In The WWE' way. Every single fucking week I'd get lectured at length about how "You can't coach strength" until it got to much and I simply gave up on the show.

Now, on a more positive note... kittens.

And on an even more positive (all be it less cute... probably) note, the first of the crap guys who I'm a big fan of...

Kevin Nash: Nash was probably the first guy I started watching on a weekly basis. It was always quite hard to get wrestling in the UK if you didn't have cable, but we did get to see a repeat of Nitro every Thursday night during the period I later discovered to be the death of WCW, and I started tuning in during Nash's feud with Scott Steiner. Probably a minor blip on the radar these days; but at the time it was super mega awesome, and I still retain fond memories of Nash and DDP (but mainly Nash, cos the man doesn't try to sell me yoga).
Furthermore; in a business full of washed up hasbeens, drunk on their own cool aid (I don't know what that stuff actually is) and still utterly convinced that they could main event Wrestlemania; Nash has a refreshingly realistic attitude about his own ability.

"I don't think Joe wants to have to carry my ass" were his words on wrestlezone radio if I remember correctly. Oh, and finally, since I seem to have turned a simple spam zone post into a Big Sexy love-fest, I'll add that recent reports as to his actions with Waltman mark him out to be a pretty decent guy as well. Bleh.

I suppose since I've suddenly decided to take this thing seriouly, I might as well rattle off another.

Kane: I'll admit it. I'm an absolute sucker for enhancement talent. Especially those who've had a big enough fan base to crowbar their way into the main event but have chosen not to. Kane's spent his entire career helping turn other people into stars, has a very good reputation for looking out for the buisness over hos own advancements... oh year; and he used to wear a mask and set people on fire. Seriously; how many people did Huck Hogan set on fire? Huh? Bet all you Hogan fans feel pretty damn stupid now don't ya? :P

So there; a small handful of guys I like and dislike inspite of their generially accepted ability of lack their of, marinated in words and punctuation. Woop.

HHH - Good wrestler, and sometimes I can even enjoy something he does, but the majority of the time, I can't stand seeing the motherfucker on my TV.

"Big Daddy Cool" Diesel - It was close between Diesel and Adam Bomb, but Diesel takes it. I was one of his biggest fans as a kid, and whenever I see one of his old matches against a piece of shit like Sid or Mabel, it doesn't ever cross my mind how terrible it is, but it brings me back a great, nostalgic feeling just seeing Big Daddy Cool kick some ass.

Good wrestlers I hate
Shelton Benjamin - he's great, but I just cant get interested in the guy, its probably his extreme lack of charisma.

Rey Mysterio - Ive hated him for years, the guy was okay in WCW but in WWE even as a "mark" I noticed that his offence was exactly the same everytime, I support many wrestlers who do this, but at least theyre not hyped as the most exciting guy ever.

HHH - Was the ultimate heel once, my feeling is once he married Steph, he got bland and repetetive, he provokes the worst reaction from me. Boredom.

Bad Wrestlers I Love - Kane is top of the list, the guy was never uber-talented, but back when he debuted I didnt think The Undertaker was all that, besides I am a big fan of gimmicks and his is one of the best. In what other TV programs would Kane be the good guy?

I think thats it actually
