Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Went to a Smackdown house show last night & had tons of fun. It was more due to company I was with rather than the matches, but I enjoyed everything.

Picked up a Randy Orton, CM Punk & Ryback shirt & bought Baby Merkley some Cena gear as I recently got her to start doing the "you can't see me" taunt. She'll be doing crotch chops in now time.

Attending the Smackdown taping tomorrow night.

So, the Ravens looks sexy as hell right now. 40 points on a top 10 defense and their own D looks to be about as good.

Too early to call 49'ers/Ravens as this year's Superbowl?

My feelings on Joe Mason - nice guy, but too easily backs down when he's controversial. If you say something stupid because you were stupid, just say you were being stupid. If you say something you think is stupid but can back it up, back it up. Don't be Talon and try to make everyone like you.

In response to all the earlier conversation.

Something I've never understood, when Bryan loses it after a match, the refs are quick to reverse the decision, but when Berty refuses to release the armbar, or locks it back on & then refuses to release it after he's won a match, the refs don't reverse the decision.

Really hope Lawlers ok

I do too. I've had the pleasure to meet him twice and he is a great guy. I live in that region where he really was The King and he is an absolute legend.

Finally put in my votes for the BZT. I hope to eventually find time to throw some written points down.

Regarding Lawler: Raw airs on an hour delay in canada so I have no idea what you guys are talking about but I'm very intregued.

Good man Merk.

In the middle of calling a match Lawler collapsed and started convulsing and they had to take him to the back and perform CPR. Cole finished the match, then they announced it and Cole has been silent since.

Well that explains the commentary, & it's good to hear Lawler is at least breathing on his own. Hopefully before RAW goes off the air tonight we get word that he's conscious & responsive.

I didn't get to see much of his match tonight, did he take any hits to the head at all?

I can't even remember. He looked fine, he pulled off two 2nd rope fist drops back to back and didn't appear like anything was wrong. Hopefully him breathing on his own is a good sign

When they panned away it was Orton in the ring it looked like for the rest of it. Was busy watching Vickie get ignored.

Lawler was in there for a good bit, and he jumped off the ropes 2x in a row. Im sure his heart cant take things like he used to- but i dont remember anything specific as far as head shots go.

Dolph Ziggler may have dropped an elbow on his head once or twice, but for the most part I think he didn't take any hits to the head.

I'm not really sure what to make of this, it might just be from overworking himself. I think this may be the end of Jerry Lawler's wrestling career, and in a way, I hope it is, though I will miss seeing him don the tights and step into the ring.
