Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

I do too. I've had the pleasure to meet him twice and he is a great guy. I live in that region where he really was The King and he is an absolute legend.

I feel terrible having been a Tennessee native and never gotten to meet Jerry Lawler.

Dolph Ziggler may have dropped an elbow on his head once or twice, but for the most part I think he didn't take any hits to the head.

I'm not really sure what to make of this, it might just be from overworking himself. I think this may be the end of Jerry Lawler's wrestling career, and in a way, I hope it is, though I will miss seeing him don the tights and step into the ring.

Him dropping the strap, I will always miss that. I just hope people see this and stop clamoring for older guys to step into the ring again.

If you ever get the chance take it. I met him at one of his promotions shows when I was 5 and again when I was 19 in Nashville. Just randomly on the street and he saw my wrestling t-shirt and said hi and I talked with him for a few, huge comic nerd.

I will. My boss when I was working for Macys was a pro wrestler in the same territory as Lawler years ago. Told me some stories about working with Lawler, Tojo Yamamoto, and Haystacks Calhoun.

Very good promo by both men

When I saw Foley, there was a guy there wearing a Punk shirt, & Foley asked how he could still be a fan after Punk had turned heel, another fan in the crowd yelled out "He's not a heel, he's a tweener!" Foley kinda chuckled & said "No, trust me, as a guy that works for WWE I can tell you he's a heel".

Things sound better for Lawler, I'm hoping they give the guy a few weeks off, though I hope he's able to return to commentary soon.

As much as I dislike Lawler and have wanted him off commentary, that isn't the way I would've wanted it. Glad to hear it seems he is doing better. And the end, very well done. Bought into the whole thing.

As I said on twitter: when Cena goes hard on the mic, I go hard in the pants.

Through the first round I have noticed some things. I'm getting a lot of positive feedback on both my John Marston bio and my arguments for him, even if I'm fighting a losing battle.

My pro Shao Kahn argument has gotten some props.

Doc made an argument that made me question Afro for a minute, but didn't sway me. Good stuff there.

Pancake's pro dragon arguments have gotten on my nerves.

Justin sees the light in the Mega-Man/Ellen Ripley battle.

I'm disappointed J and I have been unsuccessful in our pro Shepard arguments.

Remix spanked my ass hard when it came to Achilles/He-Man.

Wish more people did, her pulse rifle really equalizes things, also as has been said many times already, Mega Mans abilities are being grossly overrated, he's much easier to kill/defeat than what most of his supporters are willing to admit.

Even if he wins it shouldn't be the wash that it is. Mega Man has great offensive capability but he isn't the best when it comes to defense and that pulse rifle is a great equalizer. Plus Ripley is pretty good with mechanics, she could make an educated guess at a weak point on his suit.

Instead of the Hungarian Horntail, J, you and Doc should have gone with Acnologia...

Now that is a fucking dragon...

From what I read in the bio, Horntail is just a dragon. Nothing special or unique just a dragon. Deadpool wins easily.

I really don't understand why Pancock can't see that.

For one I thing he is arguing so hard because he knows I planned to back Deapool from the start.

The people making arguments for the dragon are making good arguments, I think I made one good one and a bunch of silly/trolly ones. Nightmare is bringing it hard and Pancake is weird when it comes to debates. I told him as much. His two main arguments are Deadpool's fans are blind, despite his voting for Rambo, and TEH DRAGONS IS 50FT TALLZ OMGZ !!!!!1!!ONE!!!!

And Deadpool wouldn't win easily. I picked him because I think he does win, but it isn't an easy fight.

Not to mention Xenomorphs, tend to be much more unpredictable & harder to kill than robots, & Ripleys taken out more than her fair share of them.

Also Joe Mason's "I voted for guy "A" but wish I woulda voted for guy "B" after reading the arguments" post is every god damn match is starting to get on my fucking nerves.
