So it turns out the most fun you can have on WWE13 Universe Mode (I refuse to buy any newer ones for a while yet) is to build up the Barbosa and Kravinoff friendship, the Kravinoff and Toyota friendship and the dislike between Barbosa and Toyota, then chuck them into a feud with the Wyatt family. Means 6 CAW's but I killed about 5 hours just today on that. Also I got Saxton vs Saboteur booked for WrestleMania...

Didn't know where else to post this, but I figured there'd be at least one interested party. The fed misses you guys

That said, looking back, BarboSHIT was even more fun for me.

Yeah, you guys do okay until Barbosa or Toyota start hitting and abandoning each other, so far because of that the Wyatt's are like 3-1 against you now, the one you did win was an Elimination Chamber 6 man tag where none of you got eliminated, so that was cool.

I am not sure the stats go high enough to have a suitable Stannis Baratheon CAW. Its a thought though, since the KOTR and all other honours are actually his by right. Maybe I'll stick him in a stable with Davos, Mel and the shadowqueef.

I was actually thinking about the fed yesterday and how, even if I wanted to join up again (and there are times I do), I don't think I have the time or energy. My peak fed years happened when I was wrapping up college and when I was an unemployed recent grad. Since I've been gainfully employed, I can't imagine when I'd have the time to sit down and write RPs without sacrificing time for my other hobbies and social life.

Is All-Stars happening soon? I might make a one time appearance for that as Saboteur if Doc is willing to return as Saxton.

Yeah my fed time is at a premium, although probably not as much as yours would be. Seems a quieter place now though. Would it surprise you to hear that me and Red Skull just dropped the tag titles to Dynamite and Spidey in the Redemption main event?

Figured it's been a while since I shared my life with relative strangers, got in the mood for it today.

Things in the life of JGlass are good. My new job is pretty great. Almost all of the kids I work with are really cool, though there are a few that drive me nuts. I have one kid who freaks the fuck out during Red Sox games no matter what. The other day the were winning by 5 runs and then they let one run up, and he started screaming at the TV and saying that the Red Sox are going to be in last place again. Also, one of the girls punched me in the nose a few weeks ago, so that sucked. It still kind of hurts.

I also got admitted to grad school last month. I'm going to get a masters degree in counseling with a concentration in expressive arts therapy. I went to a luncheon at my school today to meet some of my future classmates, but it was really more of a Q+A/get a feel for the school type of thing.

Age of Ultron is coming out in a week. That's pretty fucking rad. Then Mad Max comes out two weeks later. Then Witcher 3. I may have to quit my job to fully appreciate all this awesome.

Age of Ultron has been out a week already in the UK. It's... good but not great. Ultron is a cool villain but it's just lacking in the stuff that made Assemble (it was called Avengers Assemble in the UK because The Avengers is the name of a show that ran for about 30 years) so special.

Anyone play Shadows of Mordor? My friend and I were playing it at her house yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I'm definitely buying it now. Might be a good way to pass the time until Witcher 3 comes out.

You should be! Well it's not that it's BAD necessarily, it's just that compared to the rest of the franchise it's definitely in the lower half (it's still better than Dark World though, so at least it has that going for it)

I definitely found no shortage of faults with The Avengers 2, but I still thought it was quite good. I'd put it below Guardians, Avengers, Iron Man, and Winter Soldier, but above everything else. For all the faults Avengers 2 had, it also had some pretty interesting social commentary and I think set up for Civil War brilliantly.

As excited as I was for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (I fucking love the Maximoffs) I'm really worried about how they'll be used and I feel that with the removal of their cultural heritage and Magneto connection a massive chunk of their identities have been removed from them. Then, you've actually seen the movie, so can you confirm/deny?

Also I just passed my second-to-last semester which was a crushing amount of work. I'm going to play videogames all weekend. PSN had a sale. I've been saving Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes for just this occasion. It's time.

If you're a Maximoff purist, you might not be too happy. The action scenes with them are pretty cool, but in terms of how they're used in the story... it's just kind of off. Once you see it we can discuss it more, as I don't want to spoil anything. I anticipate some disappointment in you.

Glad to hear the end is in sight for school. Is that one of the new MGS games? The ones that people were mad about because it was so short?

I just picked up Shadow of Mordor, and it's pretty great. Highly recommend it if you're a fan of the Arkham games and Middle Earth.

Ironically, I'd say the Maximoffs in Avengers are much closer to their comic equivalents than X-Men's Quicksilver (aka Quicksinger) - but I also found them rather boring, particularly Wanda.
