I think thats why its gaining interest with me. They easily could have just tried to do a Roger Rabbit-esqe version of the cartoons & may have failed miserably. This approach is interesting and should prove to be a great movie. Dark & over the top.

Just got back from seeing How To Train Your Dragon 2, pretty much just as great as the first one. I think it's fair to say it's easily in my Fave 5 (of movies I've seen in theaters) for the year so far.

Having read most of the books from a younger age, I can say that they are great children books for kids to read (as in on par with Harry Potter), and that the first movie was great too.

I have no idea who Alvin is so I'm gonna say no, pretty much everyone from the first returns in the second.
I worked a double shift at my job last night (so from 3 PM to 7 AM) and now my perception of time is super fucked up. It feels like it's like, noon to me and it is currently 7:30 PM. This does not bode well for tomorrow as I have to take an exam at 9 AM and then work until 11 PM. Maybe I can get cancelled or something.
Been there, done that. Never a good time.

Thats right in my area, about 30 mins away. Actually got accepted there but never ended up going.
I want to punch Michael Bay more & more with every second I see of that damn Turtles movie. He owes my childhood an apology. I fully expect at some point for it to be revealed that The Shredder is actually a manufactured robot exo-skeleton & not just a badass evil ninja.

Eh. Still seems to be a debate over the Eric Sachs\Oroku Saki character or if its even going to end up some sort of swerve where he ends up being Stockman. Leaning toward Stockman creating the armor & Fitchner's character ends up in it at some point. Either way, its not an evil Japanese guy & more of an armored ninja situation. Still get the feeling they are playing a few cards close to the chest with this one.

I took a look at The Last Ship and it was pretty bad. Nothing about it made any sense and I'm pretty sure my granddad- Naval Vietnam Vet that he is- would have had a stroke watching it.

So I know it's old but what's the general consensus on the fourth season of Arrested Development? I know it's not nearly as good as the other three but I still hope for some kind of fifth and or final season.
I'm also almost done with the first season of Orange is the new black, Netflix has been a good friend to me lately.

It had its moments, but wasnt nearly as good as other seasons. Still love the hell out of the show though either way. Dont get your hopes up for another season till later down the road a bit. I think we are getting a movie before they even think of putting a season 5 together. Still, its pretty cool the whole cast is staying on board for the show regardless of how they film. That is a rare thing for a show nowadays.
Netflix is great for all. Now if we can just get them to do us all a favor & save Community- then the world will be ok again.

I've never watched Community but I know it's a fan favorite around here, I heard Hulu passed on picking it up, I'll probably get to that once I'm down with Orange is the new Black, which is fucking amazing.
OITNB is pretty good. I think you will get a kick out of Community. IMO, the last season or so took a bit of a dive due to some of the b.s. surrounding everything, but Ill be damned if the show wasnt rock solid before that. Shame Hulu passed, but it will be their loss in the end.
I've been taking a psych class for the past month to prepare for applying to grad programs. The class has been educational but the teacher is incredibly obnoxious, she goes on these crazy tangents that have almost nothing to do with the subject that eat up hours at a time. I'm in that class right now, and she's tangenting.
