Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

I had a shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty day. First I find out that the motherfucker that hit me in my recent car accident did NOT take full responsibility like he said he would, and since we didn't get the police involved there was not enough evidence to prove if either one of us was at fault, meaning I'm going to have to pay 50% of my $500 deductible and half of the payment for the rental car I used when my car was getting repaired. Then work sucked: we spent the first hour and a half getting one patient out the door, two patients threatened to hit me, and one guy grabbed his roommate's dick while the latter was trying to sleep, resulting in him getting a 1 on 1 for the rest of the night. Guess who was lucky enough to get the 1:1. If you guessed me, you're right.

Well damn. That is one crap day. Isnt there a way you can talk some sense with the guy about the accident & get him to man up- Or is that against the rules during an insurance claim? Did he try and pawn the whole thing off on you or did he just not come forth with all the details?

I might actually trade in Stick of Truth also. I enjoyed it, but I was really surprised at how short it is.

There is a dick joke in there somewhere.

Agreed. It was extremely enjoyable, but the whole game only took me maybe about 5 or 6 hours of gameplay to beat, and as far as I can tell I did most of the unnecessary side-quests and exploring that could stretch the game out.

Maybe there will be DLC, but I kind of doubt it. That doesn't really seem like South Park Studio's style. Even if there is, I doubt I'd be willing to pay for it.

Fair enough. I'll keep that in mind.

Really looking forward to tomorrow night/tonight, going to a local wrestling company show where AJ Styles and Matt Hardy are and getting their autographs before the show. Granted it's about a 2 hour drive but well worth it for me since I grew up idolizing Hardy and Styles is one of my favorites ever. I'm hoping they're selling Styles or Hardy shirts there since I plan to bring some cash with me but I'm not sure if they will since the last local show I went to had none. Then again this is a different company.

You grew up idolizing Matt Hardy? I don't say this very often, but dream a little bigger.

That said, I love going to small shows where you feel like part of the action. The best shows I've been to are a TNA house show and a PWS show (the one all of NJX went to shortly before Mania) where we sat up close enough that we could actually interact with the wrestlers. At the TNA show Hernandez came over to me and Charlie (dude from the forums) and talked to us for almost the entire time he wasn't in the ring about how much Mr. Anderson sucked.

My mind certainly drifted to giving him a phone call, but when I brought it up with some people at work I was advised against that course of action. If he's scummy enough to lie to me at the scene of the accident (after continuously asking if I was okay and putting his arm around me at one point, might I add), who knows what he'd attempt to turn a phone call into?

I really have no course of action here, except maybe talking one of the Haitian people at work into putting some voodoo on him.

There is a dick joke in there somewhere.

I think it was a dick joke.

Well The Hardy Boyz, not Matt Hardy. But them, Edge & Christian and Shawn Michaels we're the guys I wanted to be as a kid. None the less I'm looking forward to meeting Matt & AJ Styles tonight.

I love shows like this too, it feels so much more personal than a WWE show does. You end up paying a little more but then again that's because your getting autographs and/or pictures with wrestlers so it's worth it. The last local show I went to I got to chat with Raven for a few minutes and that was cool considering he's also one of my all-time favorites.

That's funny that Hernandez was talking to you guys about how much Anderson sucks, did he have many valid reasons?

So I had my first restraint today, and I fucking NAILED it.

The patient was being a pain in the ass the whole time I had been there (45 minutes), so when he made a break for the exit as some visitors were leaving, I was not about to give him any room to take that opportunity. I got in front of him and told him he needed to turn around, at which point he claimed he was just going to the punching bag. One of the other MHTs told him that he needed to tell us before he used the punching bag, but he'll go get the gloves for him. However, with his escape plan foiled by the cunning JGlass, the patient was too pissed to function. He threw his cup of water at me (and missed completely), and then threw his bag of chips to the side. He started walking down the hall screaming about how he was going to show everyone what's going on here. He took of his shirt and squared up, ready for a fight. The code was called then and there, and one of the MHTs jumped in right away and got his right arm and then got behind him and started to take him down. I jumped in just a moment after that and wrapped up the legs as another MHT got his other arm. He struggled and thrashed for a few seconds, but we had him pinned. We had him pinned good.

We dragged him to the quiet room where he took six shots in his ass. After that he was pretty much done. I got a sincere, "Nice job," and thumbs up from the charge nurse afterwards, which really means a lot because she's a straight shooter and would have told me if I didn't do a good job. The other MHT involved in the restraint gave me a bump too. The significance here is that I was an unknown commodity before this hold. They knew I was a hard worker and a team player, but they didn't know how I would do when a restraint goes down. Some MHTs just don't deal well with restraints because they're too small or too timid or indecisive, but now they know that if the shit does down, I'm ready to get involved and have their backs.

Feels good to be part of a team. Tribal almost. We all know the guy has mental issues, and we were super nice to him afterwards (the MHT involved in the hold and I tucked the kid into bed a few hours later), but at the time it was very much us vs. him, and we won the battle with numbers and teamwork.

1. you pinned him good, huh? who made the 3-count?
2. You guys sound like a close knit team who watches each others back and makes sure things are running according to plan. Sounds like The Shield to me. Which are you?

3. You nailed it, huh? Nailing it would have been a more effective solution to restraining him. Timely too.
4. how old is this kid? You mention tucking him into bed and call him a kid so I assume that he is a minor. That means 3 of you tackled a kid? What bullies.

Seriously that's great to hear that they like you.

Yeah, I may have got sucked in last night and said something mean to somebody.

1. you pinned him good, huh? who made the 3-count?

I'm not sure it was a legal pin since there were three of us holding him down.

Rollins.

20. We had to tuck him into bed because he was pumped full of so many meds that he could barely figure out which way was up. It was pretty funny, actually.

I would have if I wasn't working. Got a link for a replay?

What are you writing these days?

Sorry for the delay.

It's a little rough around the edges for the first one, but it'll get better.

That's why I usually just vote and leave. However, I will sometimes go back and look for the post in the thread that says anyone who votes for the choice I voted for is a "fucking idiot".

So penalty for acting out is being dragged in a room for team butt sex? Then you got a thumbs up & some coke for a job well done?

What a strange place....

Good thing your training with NJexus has paid off & you are using years of wrestling knowledge to subdue the crazy folk. Next time put one of them in the figure four & scream Wooooo! until he quits.

oh it's legal for 3 guys to pin 1 especially in no DQ matches which this was since he attacked with a weapon (popcorn), also it'd be legal if the ref didn't see you holding him down by the legs. Were his shoulders on the ground? That's all you need.

Makes sense given your status in the NJexus. And the fact that you're not Samoan or crazy.

Sounds it. Of course it's also sad that people have such serious health issues that they need

You watch any baseball today?

His shoulders were on the ground, but we didn't want him to be kicking anyone either, especially us, so that's why I wrapped up the legs.

Yeah, plus when my friends and I take Shield pictures I always stand to the left.

Yeah, I'm talking image alone. If you look into it anymore than that, it's pretty sad: a 20 year old kid having a full blown psychotic break. If you look into anything too much at this job you'll find tragedy, which is why it's good to appreciate the outward silliness when you can.

For instance, one patient thinks that the reason he's still at our facility is because Obama is keeping him there.

You watch any baseball today?

I did not. I saw Noah today. It was pretty good. I saw that the Mets lost, though.

Saw that this past weekend, pretty good, though there was a good chunk of the film where I was thinking "Noah is a real dick".

Yeah, I spent a sizable chunk in the same boat. In fact, I reckon that ultimately Tubal-cain made a lot more sense than Noah, though he used his philosophy to justify doing bad shit instead of good shit. Then again, the same could be said for Noah in many situations.

Man, been a while since I've stuck my nose in here. School's been kicking my ass, but on the plus side I'm officially the owner of a video game company. Thank god the winter finally seems to be going, as well. How goes life?

It's nothing much yet, we're still working on our products, but I registered an LLC with the state of Ohio and am working on a series of visual novels set in a high school that teaches pro wrestling, which is the premiere sport of the land of Parts Unknown. VNs are basically dolled up Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books with graphics and music and we're using them to get our name out and get some publicity and cash flowing so we can move on to even bigger and better games.

I'll be sure to post all about them on WZ when we've released our first short novels.

It's definitely the start of something extremely special though. Best of luck with it man.

Have you started development yet, or are you in pre-dev?

Scripts are done for our first game, just working on assets right now before putting it all together, and we're working on final scripts for our others. It's a bit of a mess and I don't want to talk about it all in massive detail, but it's definitely an exciting time.

We plan on, if we get enough support and sales, going to a crowdfunding source to help fund our biggest undertaking, with some really interesting rewards I think will get people talking.

Life is pretty good. I like my job, I like my co-workers, I'm having fun in my free time when I have it, and I'm going home tomorrow for NorCal's wedding. All in all I'm feeling pretty good about life these days.

Glad to hear the video game company is really taking off it seems. Hopefully when Summer rolls around you can get enough time off of school to put in the time you need to get your projects rolling.

I'd play that for a dollar! Or maybe even ten dollars! Seriously though, that sounds pretty awesome, and knowing your sense of humor I have little doubt it will be hilarious and awesome.

OH obviously, plus he then can't use the legs to help gain momentum for a kickout. Smart move.

Yeah, plus when my friends and I take Shield pictures I always stand to the left.
Well that's a non-humorous way to determine who you are. I guess it works fine.

Oh obviously, the image is the only thing humorous, the rest is troubling, and in a different way it's good. These people are getting the assistance they need which is good, since there are many people that aren't getting the required assistance.

For instance, one patient thinks that the reason he's still at our facility is because Obama is keeping him there.
Well then we need to get Obama to let him out. Damn "Kenyan Socialist" president keeping the sane people in homes.

You should definitely have the guy put his right hand over his heart and in a loud clear voice say "WE! THE PEOPLE!"

Well, The NorCal Wedding was everything I hoped it would be. Efficient ceremony (by which I mean there were all the feels of a long ceremony but in a fraction of the time), hors d'oeuvres that combined delicious commoner food with classy shit (the sliders were AMAZING), steak, a candy bar, and a, "WeddingMania," cake.

NJX certainly played a sizable role in the event as well. IC25 gave a pretty fantastic speech, I was the videographer, and the fabled JGoose gave what I think may be the best present in wedding history: a WWE Championship belt, but he replaced all the WWE crap with pictures of the couple. If you're friends with D-Man on Facebook, you can see pictures of it; it's really quite the spectacle.
