So after a few weeks off, I finally started watching season 2 of Sons of Anarchy. Pretty fucking horrific opening episode, but powerful. Making white supremacists the main bad guy is always a good idea, because they have absolutely no redeeming qualities. Black and Mexican gangbangers may be terrible people, but through the magic of popular culture, they've kind of been made to be pretty cool (just like biker gangs). White supremacists are just fucking assholes.

Yeh man, that first episode is pretty brutal. It's been a while since I watched it so I may be a little mixed up, but is it during "that scene" when Ruby Tuesday is being sang by Katey Segal, or is it Girl From North Country by LIONS? Both are great songs but I do sometimes feel a tad uncomfortable listening to them and connecting them with what happened.

I don't think there are any songs playing during "the scene." The silence, grunts, and screams are more terrifying with no background music.

Ah yes. The arc where Punisher and Kraven teamed up to take down Public Enemy Number One. Breathtaking stuff for a youngster whose horizons had yet to broaden.

Saw Thor 2 tonight, it's like a strange mix of Lord of The Rings and Star Wars that oddly made for extremely entertaining way to kill time if you can get past the first half hour that just kinda drags.

Oh and Tom Hiddleston is truly amazing, best casting option in that movie.

Hope that the opposing teams elite QB gets injured early in the game, so you're left to play vs. an inferior back-up QB that can't do shit cause he gets next to no reps in practice? That's Bears football?

I was looking to see what new comics are coming out this week to see how much money I'm going to end up giving my local comic book guy, turns out it's going to be a very very very light week, nothing good coming out from DC, nothing from Image (that I'm not trade waiting on), & only one book from Marvel. Amazing X-Men #1 written by Jason Aaron! I liked what he was doing for awhile with Wolverine & The X-men but ultimately lost interest after about 25 issues or so, this new book features most of my faves though, Beast, Storm, Iceman, & the return of FUCKING NIGHTCRAWLER!!! it also features Wolverine, cause god knows we can't give Jason Aaron a fucking X-men book without shoving Ol' Wolvie in there. I wouldn't mind seeing Wolverine removed & replaced with Kitty Pryde, Hope (assuming she's still around), and/or Quentin Quire.

Kitty Pryde quit the Jean Grey School and went with Cyclops and his team to the New Xavier School.

I think that's the one book I'm picking up this week. The other books I'm interested in buying are Thunderbolts and Cable and X-Force, but I don't think those come out until later this month.

Yeah, I'm not really optimistic about it, but where else am I supposed to get my Punisher fill?

Apparently he and Elektra kissed at one point in the series and that just makes me sad. The great thing about Punisher is that he really has nothing to live for besides killing bad guys, and giving him a romantic interest detracts from that.

This book goes against everything that the Punisher character is built on, we wouldn't kiss Elektra, & he wouldn't join a team, much less one oin which he would have to put up with Deadpool's nonsense.

Really? Is Arby's sauce that good? I don't think I've eaten at an Arby's more than once or twice in my life. It doesn't help that they aren't exactly the most popular restaurants in the Northeast.

There's a restaurant on my college's campus called Chicken Lou's that had the most amazing honey mustard sauce I've ever tasted. It was a crappy little grease joint that was about the size of a tractor trailer, but their food was delicious, and that honey mustard sauce made it even more amazing. If they sold that stuff by the bottle, they'd make a killing.

Chicken Lou's is apparently so prolific, that I'm actually not the only WrestleZoner that's eaten there. I forget how we got into it, but one time Ligerbomb mentioned that he ate there once.

I saw that like a week ago, it's about $2.50 a bottle I think, next trip to Arby's I'll be getting some then probably not be back until I need a new bottle

Speaking of comedians, what do you guys think of George Carlin? I think he's brilliant, especially on the topic of linguistics. Sure, he was really cynical and preachy in his later years, but everything he said had merit and was entertaining. This is the guy, by the way, that Louis CK said had the most influence on him as a comedian.
