Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

How's the Trial of Punisher been so far? I've had my eye on it and thinking about picking up to read at work tomorrow.

I could maybe tolerate Trick or Treaters if they went about their business solely on the night set aside for it.

Instead, my doorbell has rung 7 times with Trick or Treaters and only 2 of those occasions were on the night of 31st October... 2 on 29th, 1 on 30th, 2 on 1st November and I fully expect more tonight.

What is worse, I know for certain that several of them are repeats and others are not even dressed up. Makes me feel far less guilty for not answering/conveniently being in the shower/out for a walk.

We have Halloween on lock here in the US. You go out on Halloween day for trick or treating, period. If the weather is bad, sometimes the town will reschedule trick or treating. That's right, the local government decides whether or not you can trick or treat here in the US.

Now if only they could solve more important issues...

One trick or treater, tiny little girl with her parents and/or some other relatives, everyone sat around saying "oho, that's one for you (referring to me)" because trick or treaters aren't popular in the household and we don't set anything aside for them, so it was funny for them to make me open the door. Now you understand the basic humour of the people I live with.

Long story short, some lucky (and honestly quite adorable) little girl went home with pretty much all the cakes and sweets we own and a chocolate orange (she looked like she hadn't been doing too well). The look on her face was awesome, as was the rantings of everyone who wanted a chocolate bar afterwards. I can't eat that kind of stuff anyway, have absolutely no kind of sweet tooth. Basically, I rock.

*insert necessary peadophile joke here*

Now I've bored you all with that I'll... do... something.

Yeah, like the fact NBC wants to make a sequel to Remington Steele ....without Brosnan.

Eh, it could work. I'm not gonna watch it, but it could work.

Being nice to kids is pretty cool man. They just seem to be much more appreciative of small gestures than other full-sized people.

That's really sweet, but...

This is hilarious.

I laughed at it so much my head started to hurt!

Despite being a student me and my housemates decided to actually buy some bars and crisps for the trick or treaters.
Turns out no one came near our house though, so we absolutely gorged ourselves on chocolate. Twas a good halloween!

Funny thing about that, I've made one roster move all year, and it was only because the Ducks put Viktor Fasth on IR, so I picked up Dubnyk, who I had last year and both times he has been so up and down its unreal.

:lmao:Wrong fantasy sport, I was talking about football fool

I need 16 points from Brandon Marshall tomorrow.

I don't care who wins otherwise, so long as Marshall gets that 16 for me.

Looks Ol' Yazzy is gonna have sole possession of 1st place in the WZSL, stupid fucking bye weeks *grumble grumble grumble*

If you look at Nightmare's team, he had some weird dudes come out with big games. Not happy to be taking the L this week, but sometimes these freak weeks happen.

Okay nerds, so I was watching Comic Book Men and they brought up Amazing Spider-Man 101, and I noticed there are a few extra sets of arms on the cover near Spidey. Can anybody tell me what the fuck is going on here? Did Spider-Man have 4 extra arms for this one issue? It's kind of freaking me out. Here's a picture.

Yeah, if I remember right he was trying to create a cure to get rid of his Spidey powers & it ended up just mutating him further & giving him 6 arms, I think they used the storyline in the 90's animated series.

That must have been very hard for him to hide when he was being Peter Parker. It's also probably one of the stupidest plot devices of all time.

A mainstream hero with six arms? Seriously?!

The best way to counter that is when people trick or treat on days that isn't Halloween then you just say "TRICK!" and take candy from them and close the door.

They asked for either a trick or a treat and you fulfill your "obligation" to them and get chocolate in return.

My fantasy team got fucked over by injuries but I'm still creeping my way back. 4-5 now that I beat Theo this week.

They went even further in the animated series:

Try explaining that shit to Aunt May!

Yeah my pickups of Zac Stacy and Keenan Allen earlier in the year have been working out great as both have good weeks pretty often. My other big point scorers this week are the usual suspects (Luck, Garcon, McCoy) and Chris Johnson finally having a huge game was nice.

You had a few people screw you over as well, luckily your still a good position to make the playoffs where as I still have some ground to make up in order to catch Lariat.

So after a few weeks off, I finally started watching season 2 of Sons of Anarchy. Pretty fucking horrific opening episode, but powerful. Making white supremacists the main bad guy is always a good idea, because they have absolutely no redeeming qualities. Black and Mexican gangbangers may be terrible people, but through the magic of popular culture, they've kind of been made to be pretty cool (just like biker gangs). White supremacists are just fucking assholes.
