Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

It'll be Blue Jasmine or The World's End this week. I think Sam shit all over The World's End. Though don't quote me on that. Go to the GSD and see if I'm wrong because I'm too lazy to do it myself.

I checked. Four disappointing stars according to him. Must have had it confused with This Is the End.

I finally read Kick-Ass today. I liked the movie better. It was still pretty great, though.

The World's End's trailers have not done much to convince me to see the movie, though that could be because they're saving the funny for the movie. That said, I'm not a big fan of either Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, so I might wait for that one to come on Netflix or On Demand or something.

Note to self; See what JGlass thinks about a film, almost instantly think exactly the opposite.

No Holds Barred Tornado Tag with All the Gold on the Line
Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show and Mark Henry vs Randy Orton and the Shield

Best Night of Champions main event idea ever, right?

As I have already mentioned to Sam, I was not overly impressed by the first two parts of the Cornetto Trilogy either.

Eeesh!

That said, I often lurk in this thread when films are being discussed, and from the old classics like 2001: A space odyssey and The Godfather to the newer releases I don't think there is anybody on the planet I disagree with more than JGlass when it comes to films (at least I think he called both of them boring). I'd drag up some quotes if I could be bothered.

I just threw up in my mouth.

I'd never call The Godfather boring. I might have called it slow, but I don't really think it is slow so I doubt I said that either. I do, however, find 2001 an incredibly dull watch but a very interesting film to discuss afterwards.

I'm pretty I remember you saying you don't particularly agree with my taste in film before. That's okay though, you can't all have impeccable taste like I do.

Enough about that stomach bug you're fighting through. What of the match?

I don't like any of it. Every part of that match is offensive to me. The idea that the WWE can't find anything better for Henry and Big Show to do other than tag team is preposterous, I'm done with Dolph Ziggler, and Orton vs. Bryan deserves to be in a spotlight of its own.

Adding triple h as the special referee with hbk in his corner while a feud with the undertaker is being teased would be the only thing that could improve it.

But dont forget! If you download the WWE App then you can see great footage of currently employed wrestlers who are never otherwise allowed on television!

It's possible I am misquoting or overreacting or something. One day I'll do a search, or I'll just watch you like some kind of creepy stalker, waiting for the next time I disagree so I can metaphorically jump out and shout "AHA!"

I remember the Godfather being discussed in here recently and I do remember somebody saying it was boring, but it was not me. I want to pass the blame to Blue Chipper, but I'm not sure it was him either.

I just did a quick search and found this.

Glad you enjoyed American Beauty. I haven't watched AP yet, but I'll see if I can't fix that soon.

Like you and Barbosa, I'm also not a huge fan of gangster movies. It's not that I don't enjoy them, I just that I enjoy other things more. If I had to pick a favorite, Godfather would likely be my choice. City of God is also a pretty great flick, but it's a pretty strong break from traditional gangster films.

Okay. But accepting that those guys are where they are and that Orton vs Bryan should get some time to simmer, it's an awesome match.

Ziggler is a thing now. Accept it. I have.

I nearly choked to death getting that pill down. Which of course is only fitting, considering what a choker Ziggler is.

Make it a traditional Survivor Series match at that PPV and you might get your wish.

And have it that this is when Bryan gets his first victory over EvoCorp Orton after being shafted at Night of Champions and Battleground, before going through HHH inside Hell in a Cell.

Traditional Survivor Series rules is the second best way to do that match. I was looking for Shield craziness ala TLC last year.

I could see a six man tag - Ziggler/Show/Henry vs Shield - for the tag and US titles but surely that would have to involved Shield losing at least one of their titles before such a match.

Otherwise why would EvoCorp put their championships on the line? They'd have nothing to gain.

I think that goes for any descenting face getting a title shot at this point, really. But it's going to need to happen.
