Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

The Internship was better than I expected, I legit LOL'd several times, though it was largely due to the cast surrounding Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson. I still find Owen Wilson fairly annoying in large doses, especially in comedies like this one.

I saw a trailer for it today before the purge, it looked awful.

The Purge is actually a pretty cool movie, even if it is a vehicle for a heavy handed message about the class system. The scene when the villains first arrive is particularly memorable, the main guy is a real menacing son of a bitch. It's a shame he then does fuck all with it for the rest of the film.

And just so you know, the free PS+ games only work while you're a PS+ member. If you give up your PS+ membership you need to pay for the games or be unable to play them.

Are you sure? I've had my PS+ membership expire on me a few times & was still able to play the freebie games I DL'd when I was a member, granted it's been awhile since that last happened, something may have changed.

I'm not seeing a Last Of Us anywhere in the PS store, I know there's one on the newest GoW game, but I think that's the only place you can get the demo so far.

BTW JGlass if you want to add me to your PS friends list, I'm SilentJ1021

What size harddrive do you have on your PS3?

I was a bit surprised that it didn't come with HD cables, but it didn't matter since I had an HDMI cable already that I used with my 360. Ironically Wii U is the first console to ship with HDMI cables.

I got the 250 GB slim. I was going to go with the 120, but I let the salesman upsell me for a $10 difference, and figured it was worth it.

The PS3 takes a little while to set up. And for some games you need to install data first, but it's worth it.

Yeah, it took maybe half an hour to really get everything setup, and then another ten or fifteen minutes to figure out how the hell everything works. I think everything is in order now, though.

And that part of the PS+ games kind of sucks. I guess I better get busy playing them in the next 3 months.

I was talking to a friend about seeing that tonight, but we decided against it and figured we'll just double down on next weekend with The End and Man of Steel.

Yup, the GameStop guys lied to me, no demo. Now I have to wait the full week until it's out. Oh, woe is me.

Maybe you better add me... IAmJGlass.

I've never had my membership expire, but when you buy the game they tell you that you need to purchase the game if you cancel PS+. That's what I was going on.

If you download games it'll be worth it. I've already run out of room once and had to delete stuff. I have 23 games DLed (purchased 3, PS+'d 19, DC Universe Online was free regardless), and a lot of games suggest/require installs which eventually can add up if you forget to delete the ones you don't own anymore.

PS+ is worth the price to keep it going. They update it every week. Not only free games, but steep discounts for games and DLC as well. I keep hoping eventually PS+ will do free movies every so often (even if it's just rentals) but alas it has not happened yet.

Maybe you better add me... IAmJGlass.
bad pun alert
Yes, you are JGlass, we knew that already.

Aaaaaaand I got a PS3. I wonder if I'll have any use for my XBox moving forward. I put brief thought into selling my XBox, but I've spent so much money on games for it and what not that it would be silly to sell it at this point. Besides, I have GTA V preordered for it.

You should be able to get most of the stuff you liked for the 360 on the PS3 if you trade that in. Plus, depending on where you preordered, you should be able to switch it over from 360 to PS3.

Purge looks like a glorified action film. Like Freddy vs Jason. Only this time it looks like psychopaths trying to storm a house vs psychopaths trying to protect the house.

Considering the amazing selection of free games they have, I don't see why I wouldn't keep PS+ around for a while. I just DL'd Infamous 2 tonight, and there are at least two other games on PS+ right now that I'd like to check out as well.

My only concern about PS+ is that they might stop updating it once the PS4 comes out, or perhaps shut it down altogether. You'd have to imagine that Sony will give its clientele a decent amount of time before forcing them to make the jump, but if I had to guess, I'd say they'd give PS+ no more than a year before putting all their efforts towards PS4 stuff.

Even so, that's plenty of time to use PS+ to it's fullest advantage. Hopefully I have the time and money to do so moving forward.

Yes, you are JGlass, we knew that already.

It's not so much a declaration of who I am as much as a statement about what I'm about. Not only am I JGlass by name, I'm JGlass by nature. I'm all about sex, drugs, and the smooth musical stylings of Kenny G.

Ehhh I already have all my stuff bought for my XBox, plus all the DLC for the games I replay like the Mass Effect trilogy and L4D2.

Jeeze, talk about first world problems.

I love that they keep updating the PSN games all the time. I got Megaman 9 and 10 that way, as well as NBA Jam (and like a dozen other ones).

I'm all but certain they've said that they will keep PS+ around on PS4, and PS3 as well.

Sex, Drugs, and Kenny G? Well, I guess that's better then Sex, murder, and Kenny G. Although not by much.

I don't think PS+ will go anywhere, they use it to provide free content for the vita too, so I don't see why they would get rids of it. Keep in mind that Sony was the comapny that was still producing & releasing games for the PS2 for several years after the PS3 had been released, though they've had some financial trouble in the past I think they're smart enough to realize not everyone is able to jump straight to the new console right away, & they don't want to alienate that portion of their customer base by shutting down anything to do with the PS3. Keeping PS+ going is a good way to still make money off us poor folks who aren't able to spend however many hundreds of dollars on the PS4 at launch.

Just spent the day at a Game of Thrones Exhibition that featured actual costumes and props from the show. Got to sit on the Iron Throne (again) too.

That sounds better than what I did today, but I still went to the zoo so it's not all that bad.

Followed it up with a trip through the Titanic Museum, afternoon tea and a walk around a local mall, where I got some nice books, including Inside Game of Thrones, which has some excellent pictures in it.

A good day.

I was going to brag about the amount of times I *********ed today, but now that seems strangely out of place and inferior to everyone else's day.

Until only dust came out?

Yep, that combined with the chafing being so bad that skin was peeling off made quite a mess.

I went to the grocery store today, & then DQ & got a S'more blizzard, other than that I've mostly been watching tv & playing vidia games

Doesn't sound like a job a shop vac couldn't handle.

I am back living with my parents at the moment, they'll get really suspicious if I take a vacuum up to my room. Although the conversation could be amusing.

"What are you doing in there?"

"Just casually hoovering up my ejaculate, mother."

Tell them you want to test the velocity of your seed; the best alternate you could find that recreates the vagina is a shot vac.

I was talking with Dynamite about this in the discussion thread, but me and the lady have been watching Supernatural all day; really damn good show. Recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it

Not a bad idea. I mean, if I am going to dig myself into that hole of discussion my wanking habits with my parents I might as well go *ahem* balls to the wall, with it.

There was a poster by the name of Papa Shango who had a run in with a Vacuum before, it was a pretty funny story if you're bored & want to hunt something down from a few years ago.
