Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

You like Space Odyssey? Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty important film, but it's sooooo boring.

Yeah, I appreciate and respect Space Odyssey, but it's boring as shit. I was like thirteen or fourteen, when I first caught a glimpse of it, and I didn't actually sit through the whole thing until I was almost twenty.

Also, for what it's worth, The Shining is still my favorite Kubrick film. Just felt the need to mention that right now.

This is a real thing

Would totally do if I wasn't starting my own business.

Do interns get paid?

If you're working for LeBron James I should hope so!

I had to watch it for a class on film music in college. I'm glad I watched it because, like I said, it's an important film, but it was incredibly hard to sit to, and what's worse is that we were in an auditorium with uncomfortable wooden seats.

My favorite Kubrick is either The Shining or Full Metal Jacket.

More people then you think.

Well I'm sure he has a driver and a personal chef and a manager, but after that? His agent probably makes bank of commission, and it sounds like this intern would be a full blown personal assistant. Maybe he figures traveling around the country with him and hanging around the Miami Heat is enough of a payment though, and I'd be hard pressed to argue with that... especially if I got to spend time with the Heat dance team.

Cleaning people, nanny/day care, webmasters, etc. And he has countless other business ventures that he is undoubtedly involved in.

Also, the image looks more like an internship with LebronJames.com, and residing in one of 3 residences sounds like you're staying where you are and not traveling with LeBron.

Has anyone played the Army Men series on N64? Aside from anything Mario and Tony Hawk, Army Men: Sarge's Heroes was my favorite N64 game and is still a ton of fun today.

Nope, but IIRC it had a green cartridge right? I'm going still trying my hand at beating Turok.

The hockey is good right now. Real good.

Yeah, but those businesses probably pay out of their own pocket. Forgot about cleaning people and childcare services, though.

Still, he's gotta have like, $50 million to spare afterwards. He can't afford to dole out minimum wage to the poor bastard playing LeBron's bitch for 6 months?

Well then forget it, I revoke my statement of saying I would apply if I didn't have something else going on! Now I wouldn't apply even if I didn't have something else going on!

My personal copies of the first two games were the standard grey. But, I'm pretty sure the game may have been run in green at one point, or it may have been the Air Strike game they made.

Never played Turok. I'm pondering the idea of picking it up from my local shop. It's just five bucks. I'm also interested in the PS3 version.

Damn good. Damn good.

Hope it goes to Overtime. Overtime Game Seven Playoff Hockey with Doc Emrick Doing Play By Play is the greatest thing in all of sports.

It gives me great pride that Doc Emrick is pretty much the greatest commentator in sports, and he spent 22 years of his illustrious year in New Jersey.

Ski-Ball took most of my money at the arcade as a kid. I remember once my friends mom giving us 50 bucks to spend for a day at the mall and besides 2 sodas out of a vending machine the rest went to games in the arcade.

About 40 bucks for Ski-Ball and we had soooo many tickets! We filled a whole backpack and our pockets and then just had the rest in our clenched fists...then we exchanged all those tickets for candy and made my friends mom the happiest person in the world dealing with us.

Congratulations, you have something in common with God, you both love Skee-ball

A local establishment has used a copy Road Rage for $7.99, & Hit & Run for $5.99

Source Code - Duncan Jones' (AKA David Bowie Jr.) disappointing follow-up to Moon.

Loved Moon, great movie, wish it was still on Netflix so I could watch that shit again.

I watched Killer Joe last night, that is fucked up movie.

I've never seen Space Odyssey, I have no plan to either.

Why? LeBron James makes way less then most businesses.

He's worth roughly $110 Million, & makes at least $16 million a year...

Damn good. Damn good.

...until your team loses in OT :(

Who knows, maybe he was playing right next to her!

Wow, Road Rage going for more than Hit & Run? Must be the rarer game.

Yeah, he could probably afford to shell out $10/hour to the kid that gets this gig.

...until your team loses in OT :(

But awesome when they win :).

They're my Western Conference team. They're not the Devils, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

Oh, and the Mets take 3 from the Yankees? What is this?!

Any and all things Mario on the 64 I can talk as well. I have Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. The best out of that series.

So when do we pull the trigger on the regulars and have Saboteur turn out to be the real puppet master behind Holmes and Celeste...wait this isn't the Creative Control section...awshit

This sounds like a good way to kick off the angle where it is revealed that WZCW is just a figment of Saboteur's imagination, who is just a figment of my imagination, who is just a figment of God's imagination, who is just a figment of the Universe's imagination, which is just a figment of some guy named Ted's imagination.

And Barbosa has known about it all along, except the sheer scope of it has made him go loopy

Jesus Christ that game last night was awesome.

Yeah, I wasn't all that committed to it (I was rooting to the Hawks but wouldn't have been torn up if they lost), and even I was feeling my heart race during some of those plays where Chicago just couldn't put it away.

In the 2nd half of the 3rd period I was feeling so nervous I felt like I could throw up. Why do sports have this power over me?!

I was so pumped when Hjalmarrson scored, and so pissed when it was disallowed. Great series. Positives in the future? This could be for the Cup, now.

So that's what the problem is.

And all this time I thought he was the one that wanted that bamm bamm spoon.

Oh well.
