Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Pain and Gain was indeed very enjoyable, it went from pretty funny the very dark towards the end though.

Oh and thoughts on these GTA fans?

Wow, I was just about to post that in here myself. Funny coincidence.

It looks amazing and does absolutely nothing to help me decide which character I want to play as. As much as I love the neurotic upper-class Michael, I love the idea of a gangbanger that is shunned by his gang for being too ambitious, and Trevor looks absolutely hilarious.

It also makes me wish that it was September 16th.

Hey! I'm on the list of the horror junkies around here too!
I thought you were.

You're not alone. Slasher is my favorite sub-genre with the original Halloween and Terror Train as two of my all-time favorites, but I still don't get the appeal of the original Black Christmas.
A lot of avid horror fans love Halloween; the viewing of Halloween is the rite of passage into the horror genre in a lot of circles. Yes, it is a classic. In fact, I watched it a handful of months ago on Blu-ray for the first time. Good stuff.

And in response to your snippet about Black Christmas, I have watched it but have no meaningful, lasting thoughts on it; I guess you can say I thought it was average too.

EDIT: I watched "Man on the Moon" yesterday about the "comedian" Andy Kaufman. Yea, he really wasn't a comedian; he had an incredibly unique style and stage presence, and some label him as a "troll" today. If you don't know about the guy, I would suggest researching him.

I don't think having decide is needed as each campaign can be easily switched upon. All three vignettes were pretty sick too, I love the way Rockstar inputs the music into their trailers.

That trailer was the best one yet. I'm gonna HAVE to play GTA V, like, the day it comes out. It looks so sick. All the characters are really well-developed and provide their own way to play through the game, which is spectacular. This looks like a far more inspired effort than any of the GTA games before it and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Big ups to Rockstar for pulling something like this off.

I'm going to do Pain and Gain as the second part of a double feature tomorrow after I see 42. Glad to see it prevailed over your discriminating tastes, Coco.
I like to think I have a deft, measured, precise hand when dolling out my opinions. So when I say I was "thoroughly entertained," I'm not saying much.

Still better than 42.

Somehow I managed to get sick this week despite the fact that the weather is beautiful. Additionally, this is the last chance I'll get to see many of my friends for a while as I'm graduating on Friday and, barring some sort of crazy miracle, I'll probably be moving home for a couple months. Let's hope that the cold medication I've been pumping myself full of does the trick.

Like I keep telling people, it had to happen sooner or later. I'm ready to be done with college, would be more ready if I had a kickass job to jump into, but I'm not too worried yet. I'm not looking forward to graduation itself, however, as it's going to be me and thousands of my peers stuffed into TD Bank Garden with all our families, sitting in the middle of the building for a few hours as we listen to lackluster speeches. Thank goodness we're not actually walking and getting our names called, I think my class is like, 3000 people or some shit.

I'm pretty sure their is some sort of bug going around, multiple people at work have gotten sick over the past couple weeks.

Walking with such a huge class would be a pain. At least you don't have to worry about that. Still, graduating is a big accomplishment and you should be proud -- it's gotta be a little weird, though. I mean, most college students are out in there own and in the thick of things, but most of us aren't really thrust into the real world until we finally graduate college. It's a pretty big transition. Then again, you've been at it for a while, so you'll be prepared.

Did some calling, and sending out messages of FB. Found someone who's interested in training me in, mma. He's a christian, and so is most of his fight team, but he said he wouldn't force anything on me, as long as I was respectfull during their prayer time. He said its only before and after the practice, they just huddle in a group and pray. So big deal, he wants 50 bucks a month from me, because I told him how much I made, and he understood. Good dude, really excited to start working with someone on cardio, and striking. Can't wait to doo-doo on his heavyweight, I know who he Is, and I know his ground game isn't close to mine. He's just another area wrestler who never made it out of sectionals.

Man, you are really excited for this movie, eh? It doesn't look that great to me, but it seems kind of interesting.

A giant robot uses a ship as a sword to hit a giant monster in the face. And it's Guillermo Del Toro - pretty much the only guy who can be trusted to make these sort of things. What's not to love!?

Edit: And congratulations to Nate, whose children continue to get in the way of my hobbies.

Plus Idris Elba as a bad-ass...seems about right to me.

This guy gets it.

Final edition. Probably:

Edit: I'll give anyone rep that can tell me what film that poster is half-referencing.

I have a shift from hell today. I was originally suppose to work 7a-3p and then come back for the overnight (11p-7a), however a coworker needed to switch so I'm working 3p-7a. Much rather do a straight through than have a nap break. Though with state inspection tomorrow I don't expect to get out of work until 9a at the earliest. I hate being on overnights, thankfully it is just this week.

Once again, I don't know how you do it. I'd probably break down and cry if I didn't get my beauty sleep.

I was also in this morning for an hour and a half cause the two morning people couldn't come in until 8 or 830. Add on that I worked 3 to 11 the night before. I'm all over the place. It's been awhile though since I've pulled crazy shifts. Thankfully it is only this week and I can go back to my normal 37-40 hour work weeks.
