WrestleCon is a big indy get together with shows and legends speaking and whatnot. I don't think that event is affiliated, but I might not be looking too close.

Frankly, as long as every Mania attendee is taking in one indy event, I'm happy. Lord knows if I ever do another Mania, I'll be looking to go indy-crazy to make it a full, well-rounded weekend.

Well, this event is going to have Bret Hart make an appearance, and we're all very excited for Liger vs. Morrison as well as Necro the Butcher vs. New Jack. I'm kind of afraid of the latter, especially because we're going to be in the front row. Ponchos might be required.

Watched some old FCW stuff. Leo Kruger has a smooth Emerald Flowsion. He should hit it more often, I don't think he's used it since he returned from neck surgery. Shame, really.

I'm not saying Kruger's bad, but I don't know what you see in him, Remix. It may be because I haven't seen much of his stuff, but he doesn't strike me as a stand-out among the rest of the FCW NXT roster. I'll gladly take a few match recommendations that might change my opinion of him, though.

Sounds right up D-Man's alley. He's been watching most of those guys for his entire life, and he can also talk to them about being old.

Kruger vs Mike Dalton (all of them)

And believe me, he was a standout in FCW (though his title reign was the drizzling shits), and still is in NXT. He was consistently good on a level most FCW guys could only dream of. In NXT he's been able to get his character to a similar level to his matches.

If you have open cuts, I'd skip that one.

I came home from the bars (I thought the second one I went to was the one from the beginning of The Social Network, but I was wrong), to find that the last roommate hanging around before leaving for spring break had a few friends over. I headed to my room for the night, but his two lady friends found the need to barge into my room and drag me out to their party, at which point the fact that I sing and play guitar was revealed to them and I was peer pressured into playing for them. I started with some Flogging Molly, but then I did some things I'm not proud of... but then I played some joints from Ariel the Little Mermaid, and I brought the ball right back into my court.

They want the D.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I'm kind of afraid that if I left the arena during a New Jack match he'd hunt me down and literally kill me. I'll just make sure NorCal is with me at all times, I'm fairly certain he could take on New Jack.

I've been catalouging every defense of the WZCW World title and ran into an issue where one was missing. Turns out it's because the geniuses that used to run the fed posted two Meltdown 12s. Oh well.

I actually don't mind New Jack matches so much. I wen't through a period where hardcore stuff like XPW, CZW, and FMW were all I really watched. Once I got a boner watching Megumi Kudo wrestling in a exploding barbed wire death match, and I knew I had to stop.

If Necro and New Jack kill each other it might be worth a watch, but then hepititus.

New Jack was entertaining (in a Napoleon Dynamite kind of way) on the Art of Wrestling podcast. My residents probably thought I was the crazy one that day. Other than that I'm not sure I've ever watched a match involving him.

And one of my coworkers is crushing on me. And no that isn't a good thing. I've never let a girl down (in terms of liking me) I'm not looking forward to it. I can only avoid her for so long.
