Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Your face when you realise it's just full of synopses to Woody Allen films!

"Maybe-- maybe I could just write Annie Hall again?"

That's my favorite comedy of all time (I think)!

And I can make a real living off those...

No? That's a shame. Maybe if you spiced your book up by including some vampires.

So a random appearance by the Groosalugg in each of my books would be welcome?
Yes. I'm sure you'll find many captivating ways to describe how blue his eyes are.

Jiggles, you like fantasy, sci-fi and comics, right? Well then I reccomend Brian K. Vaughn's newest venture; Saga. It's cheap and easy to get through (or at least the TPB is) and pretty cool. Just finished volume one today and it's quite a nifty story. Gotta' wait until July for the second volume though which is a bit of a bitch. There's also a character who, despite his name, strikes me as the complete opposite to his forum namesake.

Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina give BKV all the nerd cred he could ever want. I'll read it eventually.

I do like all of those things, but I've been out of the comicbook loop for years now. It's too expensive of a habit. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this, though, and if there's a deal on a TPB I'll pick it up.

Finally caught Cena vs. Punk. That match was excellent. Like, bettered only by MITB and that's only because of the atmosphere surroudning that match really. The crispness of everything they did was astounding with the flow and shit. Probably one of my favourite matches ever. Fucking outstanding.

how are things, Jonny?

Oh just fine. Spring Break is coming up soon and I'm doing everything I can to convince my mom to be cool with me not going home. I think she's mad, but she's accepted it, so I'm probably in the clear.

That's what's going on in my life. It's not very exciting, but it is what it is.

Or a mid-life crisis metaphor.

Two older men fighting over the right to put their missiles in the bay of a young Latina. It even has the failure to fire/push the right buttons at the end.

Except the US didn't really want to put their missiles in the young Latina's bay, they just wanted the Soviet's to get their missiles out of it. A Lolita metaphor might be more apt since the US was demanding that the creepy Soviets leave their daughter alone to the point where they tried to physically block the Soviets from entering, but the Soviets kept coming back.

High praise indeed. I might still put Night of Champions above Monday night's (and MITB of course), but that one has a special place in my heart.

You're not going to get a much better deal that $7.49, especially for a tpb that contains the first 6 issues of a series.

EDIT: I was mistaken, you can find it for cheaper, this site has it for $5.79 http://www.cheapgraphicnovels.com/saga-vol-01-tp.html

Well, Hollywood does love a mediocre reboots these days.

But America did try to put thousands of her little men into that Latina's bay...

It was a fiasco.

Hmm, fair enough. And it's not like we didn't have a pretty extensive history of dominating the young Latina.
