I went to Best-Buy looking for a new capture card for my Xbox and as I walked past the $5 DVD bin I saw a copy of The Attitude Era DVD in the bin. Now I knew it was a mistake, but I hate how every employee tries to get me to buy a bunch of shit I don't need. They tried to sell me about $130 worth of equipment, when all I needed to spend was $30. Anyway I asked a passing employee if everything in the bin was $5, and he said if it is in the bin, it is five. So I bought it, they rang it up for the full price, and I pointed out the employee from earlier and told the cashier what he said. So I got the DVD for $5.

The servers are real hit and miss. I'd say if I try to access them ten times they may work two or three. I'm going to start uploading soon, I'll make it a point to get Saxoteur up first.

I managed to download a Roman Reins CAW for my NXT. I also need to get a Big E Langston, but there's only one CAW of him so far and he doesn't have the moveset uploaded, which leads me to believe that he doesn't have an entrance for him either. As such, I'm going to hold off on downloading a Big E CAW until someone perfects him.

From what I hear that DVD is worth less than that.

Oh man, I just played through my first WWE13 Royal Rumble (not Universe, just a fun one), and I stacked it full of the biggest WWE superstars of all time and the creme de la creme of today. Final 6 was The Rock, DDP, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, British Bulldog, and Bret Hart, and Taker and Hart just cleaned house (I was Lesnar and got eliminated fairly quickly by a stored finisher from Taker). Now it's them as the final two... and Bret Hart JUST won as I was typing this by eliminating Taker in the corner. He's getting booed like crazy, but it was an amazing Rumble.

I love this game, I'm so psyched to start Universe Mode once I've acquired all the pieces.

That does remind me, I need to mess with Saxton's move set before I upload him. For all the CAWs I have given them a pre-set moveset, then changed their finishers and signatures. Saxton still has a few lifting moves in his arsenal I need to get rid of.

In my brief experience of WWE 13, even on the Wii, Royal Rumbles can be incredible.

Just finished my first year of Universe and CM Punk is still the WWE Champion. He defeated the Rock at Extreme Rules, feuded with HHH up to Summerslam where he retired him, feuded with John Cena and banished him to Smackdown, defeated the rising Justin Gabriel in an unbelievable Hell in a Cell match and survived a MitB cash in from R-Truth at HIAC, won his Elimination Chamber by pinning the Undertaker and then defended against the Rumble winner, Brock Lesnar, at Wrestlemania.

As for the WHC, Sheamus lost it to the Big Show only to regain it, he then lost it to Orton who then dropped it to the banished Cena.

Good times.

Royal Rumbles are some of my favorite things to watch or play in WWE games. I simmed one with 40 of my CAWs, and it had an amazing opening that I'd mark for in real life. My cocky heel on a huge hot streak entered at number one to thunderous boos, and went through his full entrance, posing and all. And then, entrant number 2 was my monster face, and the crowd exploded. It was more or less if Dolph Ziggler or someone got really, really over, and kept bragging for weeks that they'd win the Rumble from spot 1, and then entrant number 2 was Ryback.

Unfortunately, I had to babysit kids so I never got to finish the Rumble. Might resim it today.

Easiest way to make Saxton's moveset is to go to every move, go to the kick or punch tab, and pick one of those. Also his finishers are the Brogue Kick and the Crane Kick. I used the Mike Tyson preset, and Tyson for his entrance.

And of course, you better give Saxoteur their entrance!

To be fair nWo was WCW, & it was when JR was calling RAW so he was kinda busy & not watching WCW at the time, so technically he's never seen a... ah fuck it, he's clearly being informed to ignore anything groundbreaking that's ever happened in WCW

I'm going to have to take at least some credit for this one as I started a new season on NHL 12 a few days ago. It must have inspired the real NHL brass.

It's not horribly original, but yes, it is better than both of their previous themes.

I'm not particularly fond of the new WWE theme either. Rap-rock is rarely done well, and this certainly isn't one of the examples. I'm partial to the Papa Roach theme, but I think that's just because it was Raw's theme when I started watching.

I've always been fond of the RAW is WAR theme they used in '99/'00, I've always assumed this was because it was the theme being used when I started watching.
