Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

WWE13 sure knows how to make matches interesting, but sometimes it's too much. I just had a one on one between Eddie Guerrero and Edge, and Eddie mounted some insane offense, hit the 3 Amigos, and the Frog Splash, and Edge still kicked out, came back, and wound up hitting Downward Spiral (it was '99 Edge) on Eddie, which Eddie kicked out of. Eddie won by eventually forcing Edge to tap to The Lasso from El Paso.

This is one of my few complaints with the game, how inconsistent the finishers can be.

You can hit a guy with a finisher and win 45 seconds into a match, but play that same match again and the guy will kick out of three finishers and get pinned by a clothesline.

I've actually had trouble pinning guys with non-finisher, non-pinning combination moves so far. It's a little ridiculous. I'm fine with this kind of stuff if I'm trying to put on a main event of a PPV style match, but if I don't want this type of shit happening if I'm trying to have Big E Langston squash Heath Slater.

The issue is you are trying to squash Heath Slater. That is impossible unless you are ten years past your prime.

Like any video game I get hyped about, I rarely ever play it. I bought it and played more than probably any recent game (besides NBA2k13), but I only played it for about a week's worth of time. I'm just not into video games and devoting time to them. Which gets odd looks from friends when they hear this news.

On a non-related note, I believe my brother and cousin are fucking with me (not that way ya weirdos) or they know something I don't know. They both claim that I have a girlfriend (which isn't true, I would know), but they won't tell me. They say they'll tell me when the time is right, but they know it is going to happen. And to think this is the most entertaining thing in my life now that the Vikings got embarrassed Saturday (fuck Joe Webb man!). I'm confident they think it is the nurse that works part time with us here. While she is pretty cool, she has 3 kids and there is a 13 year age difference. Damn hooligans.

Andre the Giant.

I know for a fact I will be in the majority in this statement but I never liked him. I respect what he did for wrestling's history, but I was never interested in watching him. At all. The only time he ever truly entertained me was in The Princess Bride. Sure he was in the Wrestlemania 3 main event, one of the most important matches in history. The first few times I watched it when I was very young I liked it for Hogan and because Hogan won. Yes, he was huge. So what though? That is my reaction to all of the "giant" wrestlers. Having a huge build does not impress me whatsoever. I need promo skills and in-ring ability as well. So.... I don't hate the guy or anything and I have respect for what he accomplished, but I always found him to be incredibly boring.

I don't hate Dagger the person, but holy shit do I hate his opinions on wrestling.

So that town crier mission you have to do in sequence 6 of AC2, yeah that's kinda a pain in the ass, would probably be a little easier with throwing knives, kinda wish I hadn't wasted them all earlier.

Dagger knows squat about wrestling, Sly changed my mind on Andre, I liked the guy beforehand, but if Andre would have been himself like he was in the 70's, during his time with Hogan. He would have been the top name in the company. How do you legit beat that man? He was a monster. So fuck Dagger.

Dagger doesn't understand heavyweight wrestling, or any wrestling really, but especially heavyweight wrestling. This is the same guy who said Mark Henry's WHC run was boring.

You must have been hitting on a ballerina, or a girl that loves the ballet, or a ballet instructor, or a gay dude.

There was a girl there who was all "I'm going to the ballet tomorrow", but I wasn't hitting on her. My ex was into doing ballet, so it's a road I've already travelled, and therefore something I've already pretended to like too much. I think I genuinely wanted to go!

"A giant is not impressive" - bollocks. I reckon I talk about the time I met the Big Show once a fortnight and everyone loves that story. "His palm of his hand is bigger than my hand" "Ooooohhhh".

J you will be happy to know I just uploaded Saxton and Saboteur on WWE 13. You may want to change a couple things here and there but personally I think they are two of the better fed characters I've done so far. Just search WZCW and they should be there along with a couple other guys I finished up.

I've never been to the ballet, but live arts generally bore me. My parents took me to see plenty of plays, dances, and orchestras when I was younger, and while I realize that I am privileged in that regard it doesn't change the fact that to this day I still find most of those things extraordinarily dull. I do enjoy a good play every now and then, though.

It leads me to believe that Dagger Dias has never been to a live show where you can see just how ridiculously huge these guys are and how impressive their feats of strength are.

I'll get on that today, though today is also the day I'm planning on doing my bartending resume. Apparently you need a different resume for bartending than any other job. Go figure.

The ski machine thing I use at the gym said I burned 850 calories in 30 minutes. That's impossible, right? Like, I'd be flopping around like a drunken mess instead of casually making myself a smoothy and soliciting the internet for workout advice, yes?

I ask because if I actually burned 850 calories for 30 minutes of work, I'm DEFINITELY doing this like, everyday. My goal is to drop to 170 pounds (I'm currently at 185).

That does sound like a lot. Also, I read that last sentence as "My goal is to drop 170 pounds" instead of drop to 170 and I was incredibly confused.

Dear lord I can't imagine having to drop that much weight, it sounds like a nightmare. Though I would imagine the first 100 or so pounds would be pretty easy to get rid of; you'd just have to not stuff your face constantly and maybe take a walk every once in a while.
