I'm gonna be that guy, but I wasn't too disappointed with the Rock, because you pretty much know what to expect with him. Catchphrases, talk about genitalia, make an odd reference to get the fans to chant something silly. He did it the entire Cena build up.

I just remember Rock's first promo being epic and then all the others being a slow decline to tonight's terrible attempt. I wonder if the first was just because it was so awesome for him to be back, or if it was really actually good.

My eyes start rolling as soon as he does the same old, tired shit he's done every single time he's come out. YouTube exists, you don't have to see the guy do it live to relive the same promo over and over again.

Its the same for me. I know what to expect, I laugh because its dumb. Rock is just entertaining, but sometimes just a bit too predictable. But he does look jacked & ready for a fight.


Punk, on the other hand, was much better. Nailed it. No jokes needed, all business.

The Rock just brought the same tired, immature humor that he always does, and when Punk called him on it... he went right back to the same immature jokes. Even when he got serious he sucked.

That first part would have been better than most of this show so far. It started off good, then slumped. They really were putting all their chips in on the TLC & Rock\Punk thing. 3MB in 2 different matches, plus a Divas match, a 30 second Kofi\Show match & a Barrett\Santino match... ok, then.

Why the hell have Steamboat there if he isnt at least gonna chop someone? Maybe a cross body is too much to ask for?
