Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Damn, today is the one year anniversary of my join date.

In February I'll have been on this site for four years, though admittedly I've only been an active user for about three of those four years. Still though, that's crazy. Time flies when you're having pointless arguments about professional wrestling.

I replied to this comment to have a quick reference of when I joined.

EDIT: It's been four and a half years. Scary. Admittedly I skipped a year and a half of that, though.

EDIT 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: I think of the regulars in this thread, justin has us all beat, though.

Glad to seal me seal of a approval means nothing to you.

Now, now Uncle Grumpy...

Before you get all butt hurt- you didnt pipe up with a comment until after I posted that. You know I value your opinion- more than 90% of the guys here.

Pretty much the same for Homeland, except substitute Steve Buscemi for Damien Lewis. It took about 5 episodes before things started to pick up now the show is starting to get really interesting.

I will have to put that show in my list 2 watch. It now will go behind Haven and The IT factor. That show is pretty damn funny.

Im also going to re-watch The Whitest Kids You Know. Only seen a few episodes but I just found this clip and I laughed my ass off.

I want to see the Kool-Aid man fight this guy in a battle to the death. Also, Is it just me- or does that one guy at the table look\sound like Edge? It damn near could be his twin brother.

Well thats just fantastic stuff. Apparently no-one at work has any idea who they are. So it is my mission to get all the episodes & burn them 2 DVD to share with the world while I watch the ones I missed.

I also convinced a friend to finally watch wrestling and he is hooked. So now I have to come up with a DVD of some great matches, but have no idea where to start. He never watched before so there is a shitload of stuff he has missed. Do I go old school? Mix in some classic comedy? Go with just the best technical matches, or the more physical\hardcore? Man, there are so many fantastic moments plus its hard to grasp how good those moments are without the proper build-up. You cant just go into something like Punk\Cena or Hogan\Rock without some serious explaining.

Damn, today is the one year anniversary of my join date.

The one year anniversary is the paper anniversary so in honor of you being here one year here is a sheet of paper for to enjoy.

That would probably be a safe bet, I've been here about 6 yrs., though there was about a year or so when I was gone, getting a life, but that got expensive so I came back.

Just met Robo in Chrono Trigger. The game's really hooked me, but man this part with the conveyor belts is frustrating because of all the battles. Haha.

Just started AC2, that race in the beginning is getting on my nerves, really not a fan of the controls for this game so far, hopefully I get used to them soon.

You done been Rick Robo'd!

I don't remember a conveyor belt battle early in your story with Robo. Refresh my memory, what happens after you find Robo?

Do you even have to win that race? I'm pretty sure you'll get used to the controls pretty quickly, they're fairly fluid compared to other games. In fact, my only issue is sometimes the character responds too quickly, as Ezio will pretty much go wherever you tell him to with even the slightest tilt of the joystick.

Every time I lose it automatically restarts the race, so I don't think I can skip it, though I would if I could cause it's starting to get fucking annoying, I want to get on with the story.

You find Robo, and then you have to go to the factory to fiddle with security, and there's a part with a bunch of conveyor belts. You get on one and have to go through several rooms to get to the part with the crane controls where you move some barrels blocking your path.

I was dumb and accidentally got on the conveyor belt again before doing anything with the crane, which meant I got picked up, put back on the other conveyor belt, and had to do the battles again.

Just hold down both the right trigger and X button and climb up to the roof as fast as you can. If you're still struggling, look at a YouTube video or something because it's a ridiculously easy mission, so maybe you're just taking the wrong approach to it.

So Mr. Glass, are you and your New Jersey brethren attending the Hall of Fame ceremony?

I would imagine so, though the prospect of $55 for a ticket has kind of turned me off.

Ah yes, it has come back to me now. That's one of the few problems with the game: having to kill enemies you've already killed. But hey, at least you're getting more experience this way.

Yeah I looked it up a walkthrough on IGN, & after 3 more tries I won the race, now I'm suppose to follow this fuckhead brother up another tower, & everytime I attempt to climb I get about half way up & he does some stupid bullshit push off jump off the side. I tried of chasing my fucking "brother" around fucking Italy, I want to start doing some god damn assassin shit already. I might have to put this game away for the night, I am getting far to frustrated with it.

EDIT: OK, finally finished that damn part.

So you made an Italian guy do what you said by pulling on his joystick? Is this a daily activity for you? Is this something you do with friends?

I hope you at least used some hand sanitizer...

Man, it's so hard to pick someone to stay at the End of Time, all the party members I've met so far are so cool and useful!
