I'm predicting big gimmick matches for this PPV. I think we'll see Taker vs. Henry again in a Buried Alive match. Should be shit but the gimmick alone should make it get a huge pop. I also see a Ladder match for the tag and possible US titles, between MVP & Hardy. This could either be awesome, as most Hardy Ladder matches are. Or it could be shite. Not sure if I can see MVP taking big bumps like that. And I also think there could be a HIAC match between Orton & Cena. It will be 10 years since it was intoduced so I wouldn't be surprised. I also expect Kane to have a large part in the show. A possible heel turn against Taker maybe?

It is coming up on the anniversary...I forgot all about that. Damn. Well, for sure then there will have to be a HIAC somewhere here.
I would be betting to see the HIAC take place with 'Taker and Henry - though it's hard to think of, since Henry can't do anything and would probably make it terrible and boring. Agree with you about the U.S. title in a ladder match ... maybe a winner takes all, tags and U.S. then chooses a partner? That'd be a push and a half. As long as MVP is doing well he should be back in singles action.

If Orton wins at Unforgiven then Orton should retain the title here. If Cena wins or gets disqualified at Unforgiven, then Orton should finally get the title here. It could also be a gimmick match like Last Man Standing or I Quit.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Mysterio v. Batista or Khali v. Undertaker

This could be a ladder match like other posters have mentioned. I predict a pretty good match here. I see Hardy finally winning that singles title that he hasn't got the taste for.

This match should be rather entertaining as well. I see Jeff Hardy defeating Benjamin but Benjamin could get a good push.

The Hardy/MVP match is almost certain to be on the card. I'm hoping it's a Ladder Match since Hardy can always pull a good one. I'm sure it will end with him finally taking the strap. The fallout from UFG will pretty much tell all. Orton/Cena will continue the rivalry more than likely in a gimmick match but I'm not sure if WWE will want to hold 2 gimmicks matches, They have seen to just fade away with the lately. Kennedy,UmaNga, Morrison and the rest of "The List" will be making it back, So all of them will have big roles and a Trips/ UmaNga match is likely as well as Boretista getting another title shot since I see Khali retaining.
Cyber Sunday will basically be a repeat of this PPV so hopefully it's good.

world heavyweight title match: Batista vs Rey Mysterio- this one is a tossup, i'll say mysterio will win, but either way it doesnt matter who wins, this title is basically going to go back to edge when he comes back, and it rightfully should.

I HATE Last Man Standing matches. Stupid stipualtion. You know why I hate them? Because as soon as they get going they stop to do a 10 count. And you know what it's always at least an 8 count. Stop/start/stop/start. Cant stand them. No way is Cena winning. Cena's doesn't lay down for 3 seconds. There's no chance he'll lay down for 10.
im guessing a double countout like always then at cyber sunday the hell in a cell like the spoilers said two weeks ago. I dont like how batista won the belt cuz its either gonna be undertaker or edge bitching him bad again. I would like for mysterio to win edge take it and then undertaker at wrestlemania.

It would actually be the fourth time:
1) Undertaker vs. Batista; WM23
2) Undertaker vs. Batista; Last Man Standing; Backlash
3) Undertaker vs. Batista; Steel Cage; Smackdown
And if they had another singles match i dont think it could capture that same Wrestlemania magic once again, and i would rather see the two finish their feud with maybe 2 more gimmick matches, but with the No Mercy main event already being a gimmick match, that seems unlikely. We'll probably get another multi man title match. Thats unlikely too tho because I heard that at Cyber Sunday it will be a Fatal Fourway for the title; Batista vs. Mark Henry vs. The Great Khali vs. Undertaker with us getting to choose the special refs either being; Mick Foley, Roddy Piper, or Stone Cold. I might have to go with a Mysterio\ Batista match just for it being a new feud even tho we have seen too many face vs. face feuds this year already. Mark Henry vs. Batista wouldnt be out of the question, but since Taker just beat him at Unforgiven, it wouldnt make much sense to put him back into another horrible main event just to finish a 2 year long rivalry. And we don't need to see Khali\Kane\Finlay versing Batista AGAIN....
And the Last Man Standing should be pretty good, and i see ur point Jake with the 10 count stopping the whole momentum of the match constantly, but if this LMS is done right, it can still be better than their last two bouts (especially the horrible Unforgiven match Yuck!) and not disapoint us with another double countout. I would have mush rathered an "I Quit" match for this rivalry definately.
Plus I hope we finally get to see the rematch of Hardy and MVP that has been built up for months now, and cant wait much longer or else it will lose its effect....Ladder match perhaps?
Im also predicting an "extreme rules" match for the ECW title with Punk defending\losing his title back to Morrison, which i think is a horrible way to end Punk's first world title reign by rewarding a guy who was just suspended with another boring reign. ECW seriously needs just one more good veteran to keep everything fresh especially with Monty having to be out for so long....This is starting to shape up to be a ppv with good matches, but i wont hold my breath as wwe can fuck up whatever they choose...

It was just announced that Batista will defend the World Heavyweight Title in a Punjabi Prison match against The Great Khali. Also I have not seen it on wwe.com where it says Triple H will face Umaga - although Umaga could return next week during his cage match with Carlito. Randy Orton to defeat John Cena for the WWE Title. He got his 1 year reign and kudos to him. Like I said before this feud could be as good as Cena/Edge if done right. Also with the reports that H will face Kennedy at Wrestlemania I can't see him having another small feud with Orton first. Let Cena chase Orton for the title, then win it back by Cyber Sunday, have them have mini feuds will other people before Orton wins the Royal Rumble and challenges Cena at WM24.
i know theres only three matches confirmed but No Mercy is looking like a good PPV that i will happily spend £15 on.

[Whoever wins it ends up dropping it to the Undertaker soon anyway. If I had to guess right now, I'd say Batista retains, just because they don't want to switch too many belts on the same show.]

[I'm assuming that by this time, they've already lost the tag team titles and this is a US title match. Although I think Hardy will eventually take the belt off MVP, its highly unlikely they'd have 4 title changes in one show, so MVP probably retains.]
Undertaker vs (..?.?.?..)
[Probably Mark Henry, which will be boring. Only reason I say that is because Smackdown doesn't have any heels for the Undertaker to feud with next. They wouldn't book Undertaker vs Kenny Dykstra lol.]
CM Punk vs (Big Daddy V? Elijah Burke? John Morrison?)
[These are the only three I could see being potential candidates for this match. If its V, Punk will retain via DQ. Burke, he'll win with a GTS. Morrison could go either way, because they seem to be big on him, but by that time, they might be more willing to keep it on Punk to help with the Congress issues, seeing as he's the "straight edge superstar".]

All I want from this PPV are two things:
- To see Batista Batista-Bomb Khali, so we can never see that gigantic non-wrestling piece of crap ever again. The End of Khali !!

I'm unhappy about the Triple H vs. Umaga match. I think Umaga is one of the only positive things to come out of Raw in the past year or so. And now he's pretty much going to get squashed by Triple H. This will pretty much ruin his semi main event status. After losses to Lashley, Cena and now HHH, he's now just a mid carder. If only he'd been drafted to Smackdown.
Now I'm intrested to see the Punjabi Prison match. Purley because it's going to be awful. Last years match was terrible. And that was with Taker and Big Show trying there best. Batista doesn't try and Khali sucks. This is going to rival Hogan/Warrior 1998. I cant wait.

Well the Triple H and Umaga match should be good if Trips allows Umaga to actually dominate some part of the match as if not then well bury Umaga for ever now. Though if they play this out right this could lead to a good feud to finish the year out on but i just seem this match being a Triple H squash and can anyone say bye bye to the monster that was Umaga? I can if Trips make him look weak which i think he will at No Mercy.
