That was a stand out match for me too. it really did have great moments here and there. i have to admit the rest was very disappointing as expected really.

I do not do this often, but this has to be one of the best post of the year. Totally agree with every point Brent. Freakin' A.Brent said:I agree totally here. Smackdown needs to be taken off the air or needs to get some help. ECW is now canceled because of the joke of all PPVs. The Punjab Prision Match was a joke in itsself because:
A.) It's an Indian Match and you took out the Indian?
B.) You have 2 big guys that are on different shows facing and neither used a weapon (when Big Show is suppose to be the ECW World Champion.)
C.) You had Khali come out and make a complete ass of hisself.
Then you have this storyline of Chavo and Rey, which you could obviously predict the ending of this match, that goes on forever and then just like that he turns on him to give Booker T the title to hold on to until SummerSlam where he will lose it to Batista. This PPV was such a joke. You had the fucking Bra and Panties match after the Punjab Prision Match (which should have been the Main Event). Then you have Batista vs Ken Kennedy. I just want to know where in the hell Ken Kennedy comes in the play vs. Batista? That match was a joke. Choke him out in the corner, yeah let's make Batista lose on his first PPV back. Oh about forgot to mention the joke of the US Title match. You have 2 Europeans facing for the UNITED STATES Championship at The Great AMERICAN Bash? That's hillarious. It might just be WWE Creativity that's going down the drain, but it ruint a once was a good night for many many people and showed how horrible Smackdown is right now.

I can see your point, but my beef about the entire situation surrounding Regal and Finley competing for the U.S. Title at the PPV last Sunday is that the WWE failed to give a proper perspective about the match. It would have been of their best interest to at least acknowledge the situation, which is that 2 non-Americans are battling it out for the recognition of being known as the WWE U.S. Champion. By doing so, the acknowledgement simply gives the championship more acclaim and displays how important it is (so important that 2 non-Americans are battling for it; by the way, both men are depicted as allies, which gives even more credence to title). Although there was a lack of time for the WWE to promote this due to Lashley's absence from the match, they could have given more insight during the match between Regal and Finley. The contest was one of the best in-ring bouts of the night, and in a technical wrestling standpoint, it was well done (both guys are tremendous in-ring workers - yet another aspect the WWE could have touched upon as an encouraging segway to promote the match in a short time frame). The WWE once again dropped the ball here, not necessarily Regal and Finley.charzhino said:Ok in that case lets ditch every1 who isnt american from the show and have a ALL AMERICAN BASH.
