Ratings didn't exactly fall flat on their face with RVD as champ, and Edge is arguably more popular than RVD and better at working a crowd than he is. And who cares to see a transitional champ? I do. Edge and RVD have both been way better champions than either Cena or JBL, neither of those two had a lick of talent in the ring. Although at least JBL did a good promo and had a pretty solid gimmick even if it was basically the Million Dollar man 2.0.

OK, this bugs me when people say this so I have to address it. The ratings went up when Edge was champion because the WWE promoted "Live Sex" with him and Lita. Of course that didn't end up happening and I promise that ratings would have returned to normal if given time.

I am a huge fan of Edge & am thrilled that he is the WWE champion. I will enjoy Edge's current WWE Title reign no matter how long it is, but I am hopeful that he will be in the main event at WrestleMania 23.

I think Edge should be Champion for a bit longer than when he became the champ at New Year's Revolution. A lot of fans are getting tired of John Cena being the champ and it's starting to suck more watching him be in the title hunt all the time.

Pretty much, I figure we're in for about six monthes to a year or "any body but Cena" as champ simply because alot of people are sick and damn tired of him. Send him on vacation or something just to get someone new in the title hunt. Edge feuding with Carlito for the title would be cool.
