Ok Edge is the champ...Who's the #1 contender?

Edge is now the world champ!! Great so do we continue to see Cena is the number one contender or do we start getting fresh matches now. If the WWE was smart, they would take advantage of this situation and have some great matches with people such as HHH,(although he chose to pass on the feud) masters (although he is suspended) Nitro(wait he is the intercontinental champ) kane(yeah..give him the title) and maybe bring people from smack down... ah hell looks like its edge and cena for a few more months....thought people....?

Cena and Edge will fued all summer. I know that sucks. So I guess Cena is the number one contender

HHH is involved with DX. Masters? Are you serious? Nitro? People from Smackdown? Personally, I think they did the wrong thing giving the belt to Edge, but if they didn't do this, we would've had more idiots hacking John Cena's myspace. Lawl. The next thing they should do is melt the belt down because if they don't WWE will go out of business. There are a couple guys that could be pushed right now. You probably won't like them as they were not on the list. I love the descriptive adjectives that come out when you don't like somebody. "Fresh", "stale".......lawl. I'd like to see Kane go for the belt, but that's just me.

WOW.You are out of your mind.Edge deserves championship.They wanted it on him because he deserves it.He has worked his ass off and when he lost the title in less than a month he didnt start complaining backstage.He didnt cause heat.He went back to working hard.

I looked at your signature after I read your comment. Lawl. Kane should be champ right now. He is the one that deserves it. People do a lot of marking to HHH and HBK and other fellows like that, but Kane has been a consistently good performer. He's done stupid storylines, gimmick matches, he's cool backstage.....The only reason you think Edge deserves the title so much is that is that he made a name for himself jumping off ladders. "But he did this match..he did that match..." Yeah he did, but were you too busy marking out to see that Kane was in a bunch of different matches also. I'm not really a mark for Kane. It's just that if you are gonna start talking about people who DESERVE the belt, you shouldn't let your crush cloud your judgement. Just so you know.....Kane has jumped off a ladder before too.

I'm the biggest Kane fan there is, but I must say that Edge is certainly DESERVING of a title run himself. He's been in the WWE for a very long time, been a consistently good performer, and has decent mic skills. Sure, he's not the most entertaining person IMO but he's definitely good enough and has certainly EARNED his shot.

Sure, Kane has been through more (Isaac Yankem???), but I'm glad that Edge is getting his chance now where Kane never did at his age. Hopefully, Kane will finally get his chance this Fall or next Spring (WM would be incredible) but I can live with Edge for now.

obviously its going to be edge vs cena........ for now , umaga is getting pushed all the way as far as i know. i can see masters in the future getting a big push, but at the moment he is in rehab isnt he ? i can also see carlito getting a push in the near future. Randy orton will be feuding with Hogan but afterwards he might,but im sure he will be feuding with HHH and HBK will be out injured.

I just hope that Kane get a title shot. He deserves it he only won it once and then lost it the next time on raw thats just wrong.. now that it looks like he is getting masked now again.. which is good cuz i like old school kane..he should dominate now and get a title shot which he deserves. any idea of how it will get there for kane i.e Triple threat Kane vs Cena vs Edge just a thought....

I will give Edge his credit. He has come pretty far sinc e returning from his shoulder injury. His feud with mat got him over as a heel and his feud with Foley helped him get that hard core edge. The fact that he took barbed wire and thumb takes gives him extra brownie points. lol And he is not bad at all in the ring. He has worked his ass off.... he deserved the tittle. I would like to see some good feuds and I would love to see kane geti it eventually.

so number 1 contender is prolly gonna be cena cause edge "screwed" cena out of the title, and will prolly have a match at summmerslam. as much as i hate to say it- cena will prolly regain the title at summerslam
