John cena wasnt a fan favourite and he kept the title last year and hhh beat booker t at wrestlemania 19 and hhh was a heel also hhh at WM 16 he won and he was a heel

I think HBK with the title would be awsome. I think people should get the title for respect, ongoing match quality, and then for overness. One guy earlier said they should get the belt to get over. Well maybe like the IC or US but who gets the WWE championship to get over? If they need that, then they are pathetic. HKB definently deserves another run. Heck, Ric Flair could have a crack at it, but only if the main eventers die before him, lol.

Didnt Brock Lesnar beat Kurt Angle aswel for the WWE title and im pretty sure he was a heel. Triple H won a fatal 4 way at Wrestlemania 20. Austin beat the rock for the title at Wrestlemania 21 as a Heel also, although the heel turn happened in the match. Thats as far as my memory goes back lol

Personally I think that only Edge or Orton can take the belt from Cena. Once Rated RKO breaks up, both of them will be in the hunt. I could see either one of them taking the belt off Cena.
I think seeing as how HBK is going to be in the royal rumble they should have him win and have him beat the champ at WM 21 so he could once again be the champ just like the last time that he was in DX. This would not only open up new challenges but they could keep the dx thing going for a lot longer seeing as how triple H is going to be out for a long period of time.

I think you are a little drunk sir. Austin and Rock never had the title in the same year as WM 21. The match HHH was in at WM 20 was a triple threat which he did not win. Benoit won.

although the edge and lita and matt feud was a joke. edge is still one of the best superstars on raw he has the talent, he will take risks, and that makes him a entertaining, wwe champ material compepitar.

IMO Nitro has the capability of a young Shawn Michaels. With work he could one day be WWE Champion and main eventing WrestleMania. As for Melina, I think for now she needs to be with Nitro the way Chyna and then Stephanie was with HHH in his intial run.
I also agree with Carlito, Jeff Hardy(who has really picked it up since returning to wwe), and Benjamin. If Carlito were to become WWE Champion he would need to be a heel(he's more natural as a heel), and have a stable around... with a manager(like Estrada) and an enforcer(like Umaga) who will have his back.

I would love to see Shelton Benjamin make it to the top. He's the best athlete I've ever seen, and he's being held down because he doesn't have great promo skills. Carlito, Nitro, both the Hardy's, Orton, and Edge are all the future of the business, and I would like to see them all get a crack at the belt sometime (even though Orton and Edge have already held it).

Orton winning the title from Cena would be refreshing, but I think him and Cena should feud for longer than that, with Orton coming out on top everytime. Then Cena can be out of the title picture for a while and let others be up there.

I think that there are plenty of people who deserve the title more than Cena. For one, he has taken away the credibility that WWE champions are supposed to have. Guys like HHH, Edge and Shawn Michaels deserve to be the champion because they have proved to everyone that they can wrestle and are legends of the business. These are the main event guys a company should be built around, not untalented guys who get their pops from 5 year olds.
Orton, I don't think should be champion because of his backstage issues. In terms of ability in ring and on the mic I think he could be a great champion, but with his drug abuse and whatnot, I don't think the WWE want to reward him too soon. The one good thing I will say about Cena is that he seems to be devoted to the business, and has no backstage issues like some of the other guys have. He has the ability to please Vince and the WWE, so I think that is one of the reasons that he has been champion for so long.
This has caused a problem, because he seems untouchable at the moment because he has destroyed countless title contenders, and has ruined any WWE title feud because it was relatively uncompetitive. We need a break from Cena, and I hope if that happens, that they don't give the title to Umaga, Carlito or...Khali. There are much more deserving guys than Cena, and they are too caught up in his popularity to hold any regard for the people that obvioulsy deserve a run. Maybe if they focus on producing wrestling, we will see some new champions or even a better Cena, but until then, they are going to continue to aim to get Cena's popularity to new levels, while neglecting the competitiveness that the WWE title could have if it had credible people holding it.
There is a list of people who are going to TNA or getting sick of the WWE because they couldn't get pushed ahead of Cena or Batista, despite having talent that those two could never match. If the WWE wants to add Edge, RVD and others to that list, then I would suggest that they let their champions destroy all competition and hold the belt for many boring months.
Deserving Champions on Raw:
Edge - Devoted his time to training and wrestling, and has the ability to have a great heel title run which could have been great the first two times had he not been facing Cena.
HHH - Clearly the standout champion of the past 5 years. He has the ability to make an exciting and competitive heel title run, and always creates great matches without his character getting in the way. He deserves the title more than anyone else on the roster.
HBK - Deserves a long title run because he has earned it. His last run was after the first Elimination Chamber in 2003, so I think he is long overdue for a title run, or at least to be a contender for the WWE title. He has earned it and deserves more than being overshadowed by a guy who was covered in acne at the time that he was running wild in the '80's and 90's.
The WWE could always give it to a young guy, but I don't see that happening. These three guys are the ones that truly deserve it, so I hope the WWE can reward their loyalty.

Nahh fatal 4 ways always suck, the one with HHH, the rock, big show and foley was awful.. Id like to see Orton win the title from Cena then have HBK win it at Backlash setting up a continuation of the HBK edge feud, which actualy came accross quite well on RAW this week.

A Fatal Four Way would be okay, but Wrestlemania is usually about a one on one, who's better type match. I suppose it's possible, but highly unlikely that that would happen.

Hmmm...wow. This post makes zero sense to be honest with you. And to get back on topic. WWE Champion should stay Cena. He sells merchandise. I just think they should change the look of the title to the traditional belt instead of a spinner. Spinner deminishes the prestigue of the title imo.
Cena may not be a good wrestler but he does have 3 great qualities. IMO, He has mic skills and charisma. Thats two of his 3 great qualities. His third great quality is he sells merchandise. Yes, WWE makes good money as it is and hell they have good money as it is but why stop from making more? Does it hurt just making a bit more money? Cena sells tickets and merchandise which is good for WWE. It's just some parts of the world that hates on Cena.
I am no way in shape or form a Cena mark or a Cena fan for that matter. But the fact remains that they have him champ for a reason. Not to shove him down our throats even tho thats what they are doing but because he sells the most merchandise. Proof can be provided by going to the charts.
After Cena has his title run I think they should give the belt to HBK, Edge or Randy Orton. HBK because he deserves one more run especially since he's not making a big scene for not being given time off. Edge because he got screwed on his first 2 runs. He held both belts for 1 month and a couple days for each run. It's pathetic. Randy Orton because he has talent. Get's over as a heel and I like him.
