I have received two private messages, one a warning and the other seems to be some type of penalty against me. The person who sent them to me says the reason for them is spamming. I am not a computer nerd and don't understand the computer terminology! I don't know what spamming is and I don't know how its done. I have only posted twice on this forum site and one message came after each post. Maybe someone can explain this to me so I can understand!

They are warnings, infractions. You get 5 before you serve a seven day ban.

Moderators or Administrators hand them out to you if they believe your post is breaking the rules in some form, it may be spam or it may be something else detrimental to the rules. Spam is basically anything that doesn't contribute to the thread.

For example:

Thread: John Cena vs Shawn Michaels

Spam: John Cena is the best.

Not-Spam: Something long and credit worthy that I refuse to post. Go look up x-Fear for a decent example..

I wasn't even spamming, I was tell everybody what would be my matches at Judgement Day, so I guess that everybody else if they write a post even with more that ten lines but less that fifteen they will get a report from you? That's just annoying, there's a lot of people that wont share their opinions because of that, this is just my two cents, but I think you should be moderate in this cases, I didn't ment to spam, altought I believe I'm right on this case.

I think it was even in the same thread that it was mentioned, Jake mentioned it himself, just posting messages is considered spam and against the rules. Apparently this isn't clear to anyone. I'll make sure to remedy this. But now you know. Don't just post your cards, give reasons why you think those matches will happen, and that goes to any post. Anything under two lines, unless it actually brings something to the discussion, is considered spam.

If we get 50 different people in the John Cena thread saying nothing but "I hate John Cena" or someone in the Judgement Day forum saying "I think Batista will be in the main event"... we can't have that, do you understand?

You get 3 before a small ban, when you reach 5 points you get a perma ban.


If you want a good example of how to post right, I would suggest Kasey. He might be the best poster here.

But yeah, spam is any post with no real insight. Like post HBK can suxorz my nutzorz would be spam..funny, but spam. Giving clear reasons why you thingk HBK is worse than Hart would not be spam.

Four Infractions - Two Week Ban
Five Infractions - Perminant Ban.

I think the Mods should also browse the rules to know how many Infractions dictate what. All members are told when they start a Thread in the Entrance Ramp to read the rules, they are at the top of EVERY forum, there is no excuse for not knowing them.

I knew how many infractions get a ban, when I said small ban I did mean a week. To me that is small. But I agree the mods should look over the rules again, I look over them atleast 2 to 3 times a week just to keep them fresh in my mind. How many points for a ban is also there in the infraction screen, so I agree with you again, there is no excuse for not knowing them. Nice post jonny b.

The easiest way to tell if your fully activated is by looking down at the posting rules at the bottom of the screen, and if everything says that you may post than your fine.

If its not that, then its simply because you need 10 posts before you can start a new thread.
