CM Punk WINS The WWE Championship!!! Cena fired???

not sure if this will get merged so i will repost what i said in a differnt thread....fuckin wow.....i knew something was up when mr straightedge came out wearing stone colds shirts. that whole shoot had my jaw dropping. but im pretty sure it was all a work, cause if it was the real deal, his mic wouldve been cut along time ago into his speal. and also if it was a real deal, he wouldve said screw u ill take the title and go to tna just like medusa did during the monday night wars.i believe that he is now in a position where he has to win the title and leave or the angle has no real payoff. he wins disappears, we get a new belt along with a tourny or battle royal. unless punk wins the title and lets say r-truth with money in the bank cashes in on punk and wins therefore cm punk does what he says and the title still stays with the wwe. but wow, great promo.......and if he does get suspended like ive heard he did. does that mean r-truth is the new number 1 contender after his win tonight over cena?

This was a fantastic worked shoot, just phenomenal. If CM Punk really is leaving WWE, though I don't think that he is, then they've really shot themselves in the foot. Punk showed yet again tonight that he might very cut the best promos in wrestling right now. The emotion felt genuine and probably was to some degree and I hope to hear more like that from him in the coming weeks.

His shout outs to other wrestling companies, his comments towards Vince McMahon & company were definitely out of the norm for WWE promos and it definitely had a feel of unpredictability about it. I thought the timing of them cutting off Punk's mic and cutting him off the air a few seconds later was perfect. The IWC will be buzzing about this the entire week and all it does is keep people tuned in to ultimately see what happens.

Damn...1952 people are viewing this thread right now. This topic could break the damn internet.

Oh shut the fuck up. You realize that you're even worse then those 'smarks' by acting like this? That promo was amazing. It didn't matter that he was using other names and talking shit. The delivery was beautiful. Obviously it made real wrestling fans wonder if it was real or not. That's what he's there for. You're one of the assholes who watches wrestling and goes 'that was so fake'. Uh...duh? Appreciate what was one of the best endings to RAW in a LOOONG time.

Not really. I LOVED the promo, I just hate how many people think it was a shoot. Or people who don't appreciate what happens. Or people who say "real wrestling fans". What the fuck is 'real wrestling fan' anyways? someone who marks for spots? A real wrestling fan is anyone who likes wrestling. The kid who watches his John Cena DVD 100 times is just as much of a fan as me, a guy who traveled 13 hours round trip in 1 day to see Bryan Danielson's last match in Chicago.

CM Punk has been the only reason I have even been watching Raw for quite some time now. He is great in the ring and outstanding on the mic, and that promo proved that even more. My jaw was dropping and I was literally speechless. Just wish WWE would give promos that kind of realism more often. It was a breath of fresh air!

Anyone that thinks it was a real shoot, shouldn't. It was obviously a work, as WWE even put up the copyright info way earlier than they usually do. Normally they put it up just seconds before the show actually ends. They did this, to make cutting off Punk and the show seem more realistic.

I loved it. Loved every second of it. To rip off of a Scrubs joke:

"I love this moment so much I want to have sex with it."

But no, I'm not buying that it was legit. The moment he started flying off the handle, that thing would've been pulled and cut off the air. It went too long for me to buy it. In the event on the off chance it WAS legit, then WWE television needs to come up with better protocol to prevent those types of situations. It isn't hard to press a button and turn off his mic, you know what I'm saying?

As for what was said, yes it was beautiful. The IWC will be buzzing over this for the next week and MITB buys are going up as we speak. Maybe I'm just playing my part in the WWE's plan, but yes I do believe a lot of what Punk said. Script or no, he said some awesome things. I do think Punk is arguably the best in the world considering his age, how good he is in the ring, his gimmick and what he delivers on the mic. CM Punk is the total package. Regardless of whether or not tonight's shoot was real, I truly hope for the sake of my entertainment that CM Punk is still a WWE Superstar as of July 18, 2011 and is also the WWE Champion.

This was a real fucking shoot. Vince would never approved this. He mentions Heyman, NJPW, ROH. THAT'S NEVER SCRIPTED. !!!

Moron, Vince doesn't live in a god damn rock. You honestly think he doesn't "know" about all these things?

Fact is, if this was a legit shoot, every single shooter in wrestling has explored topics MUCH more deeper than this. No swear words, no "Fuck you Vince!" Nothing.

This wasn't for us, this was a way to say "I'm a disgruntled employee"

I want to believe its a worked shoot I really do but I dont think VKM would let someone who talks major un-approved shit about him and then let him main event a PPV for the title

To the smarks talking about "whoever thinks it's a shoot should be shot" shut the hell up. Remember why we all got into wrestling? Because of it being able to suspend our belief for a moment. That promo was awesome, and Punk should be commended for it. Vince should also be commended for letting it be allowed. Never thought he'd let ANYTHING like that go on over air. It's not surprising to me that he let Punk mention ROH or NJPW though, they're far from real competition to the WWE brand.

It was just amazing to see. I can't remember the last promo I watched that made my jaw drop. I'm anxious to see what happens next week, and that hasn't happened in damn near ten years. Is WWE actually getting back to having storylines and real angles? It's exciting. I hope they don't drop the ball like they did with Nexus though.

Right After Wrestling are saying he's been suspended, apparently Cole announced it to the live crowd (which does make it seem like it's part of the angle, time will tell). So hope he stays though, showed his value tonight.

How do you know? I don't think this was all planned by the WWE. For satan's sake he said ROH on WWE television and crapped all over the USA network (the network that airs Raw by the way).

SO DID MATT HARDY!!! Holy shit people he didn't say ANYTHING that would legitimately be bad. If he gets "suspended" or "fired", which I think he will, it's still all a fucking work. They are working YOU. they LOVE working YOU. Cena works YOU every night.

Every once in a while WWE does this. It makes good business sense. Take one of the IWC darlings, let them speak for you, get you guys all hard, and then make money off of it.

Wow!

What an amazing promo! This was the most "Is this real??" moment since the Nexus takeover a year ago! And all of what he's saying is right. Currently, I think he's the best WRESTLER (noticed he referred to himself as a WRESTLER!!!) in the business today. And, he can make a promo like this believable to the point of making you think it was a shoot!

My only question, to anyone that may know is, what was the "4th law" he was referring to breaking? it was within the first few minutes of his promo...

Yeah but they could have cut him off anytime. So either this is a work (and the suspension would be part of it) or the WWE will be firing some people for letting this go on the air like the producers of Raw

I also dont see Punk as someone to completely burn a bridge like that..
The real clue will be if its edited out on the West Coast Feed. If they show it here then clearly a work

That was an amazing Worked shoot promo! Probably the best shoot promo of all-time. I definitely think they let him go out there and say what he wanted to say, and he probably gave them an outline of what he was gonna say.

I don't think they knew he was gonna mention ROH, New Japan, and Colt Cabana. If it was a real Shoot Promo, they would've cut his mic off immediately.

I hope WWE "fires" Punk now just like they "fired" danielson and then he comes back through the audience like Matt hardy. That way you all can go "SEE IT WUZ A SHOOOT!!!!" But then he'll come back and you'll be like "HE RLY HATES VINCE N CENUH" and then you'll soon realize the whole thing is a work.

This is a brilliant worked shoot....WORKED.

Okay, dude, we get it. You think you're smart. Yay you.

Of course it was an approved promo. Do you think for a second they'd let a true blue disgruntled employee air dirty laundry on the air like that? Jesus, man, how stupid do you think people are?

Alright, I'll just say a couple quick things. Number one - this was a worked shoot. Yes, a lot of what Punk said is true and probably reflect many of his own feelings, but of course this promo was approved before hand. To say "oh, he was cut off!" is absolutely absurd. If he was truly cut off, it would have been done way earlier in the promo. They aren't going to give a mic to an already controversial guy who is leaving the company and say "hey, go out and say whatever you want." It doesn't work that way, guys. RAW is Vince's cash cow and he has his hand in every little thing we see on the show, including this. Punk is a good enough talker to get everyone to believe that he's really shooting.

Secondly, huge props to CM Punk on the delivery of this whole thing. Once again reminding us that he truly is the best talker in the business today. I mean, the show just ended and look at the reaction he's causing from internet fans. As I type this, there are 3,000 people just in this thread. It's unbelievable the effect he has on the internet world, and he will be missed.

Thirdly, anyone notice the Austin shirt? Made me chuckle. At first I thought "ah, he wants to get the internet talking by doing a foreshadow to a match we probably won't see." Then he ended up getting the internet talking about something COMPLETELY different. My hat is off, CM Punk. You got it done again.

Exactly what you just said. A real wrestling fan is someone who watches wrestling, and obviously enjoys it. Punk had EVERYONE in that promo. Even the kiddies who didn't know who in the blue hell Colt Cabana was.

I was just on WWE.com and in their so called live chat. Finkle was saying that Punk is suspended until the end of his contract. I hope this is just another layer to the storyline but I am not too sure. That promo was a little too real, even for the WWE. But holy crap was it great!

To shoot or not to shoot, that is not the question. Punk made thousands of us IWC geeks talk about Raw. Good job either way.

The ONLY thing that stands out as maybe he really got cut off is where , towrads the end he started talking the WWE anti-bullying campaign and was telling a story about that...it sounded like he was slamming that....WWE is taking crap in the media already about that so it sounded like they cut it ....

LOL to create a stir this big it had to be EPIC!

Bring Brock back by the way mentioning his name made me want to do a back flip.

4th Wall. It means "not acting like a show" basically breaking kayfabe. Which is pretty much the biggest sign it's a work. The bolded parts are why he was the perfect guy to cut this promo, he caters to you and your people. It's an amazing work and I love it.

Show me the words and I might just take you seriously.

Announced it as soon as raw ended at the arena, and its on wwe.com .. or was , cant get to the website now ..

Punk has been "suspended indefinitely" by WWE HQ.

On next week's RAW, Alberto Del Rio will face Rey Mysterio and R-Truth to determine a new #1 contender for the WWE Title. Thats what im reading

who cares if it was scripted did anybody actually except this. no right. so enjoy this moment because it will be a long time before any this awesome happens in a long time. i wished they didn't cut him off i wanted to hear the story about Vince concerning the anti bullying campaign

Fourth WALL---it refers when someone breaks character on TV and talks straight at the audience...the fourth wall.
