Chris Jericho To Return [Not the save us promos]

I am happy they will wait before they bring him back, let the anticipation continue to build up, No Mercy would have been way too soon even though I wanted him to come out

So what is a better way to get credibility, be handed the title on a silver platter and lose it 15 minutes later, and then regain it after HHH wrestles 3 times in one night and misses standing by the 10-count by a fraction?

Last night's gave no one any credibility whatsoever. Not Orton, not HHH, not Umaga, not CM Punk or Big Daddy V, not Mr. Kennedy, no one. I don't see how a returning Y2J could have been any less credible than the crap that went on during No Mercy last night, one of the worst PPV's I have ever seen.

The first idea sounds better than Chris Jericho returning, getting, and winning a WWE title match the first night he steps foot in a ring in about a year. Thats him saying "hey, you're supposed to have been training for the past few years and wrestling full-time nonstop while I've been on VH1, writing a book and touring with my band. Where's my title? Even if I've forgotten half my moves" I just think the guy should have a few months before he gets his chance.

Why I think Jericho would come back as a heel? First off, let me ask you a question. If the promos are for Jericho, where in the hell does anyone think he isn't trying to get heel heat by claiming to "save us" or the "save the wwe"? Now, I will say that with the hype...the build up...the buzz....it's going to be hard for Jericho NOT to get a loud as hell pop. BUT...if he were to be on Vince's side...well...that's the best damn way to be unpopular. HHH is the only damn decent face they have now...or at least one that can make title runs...what with Lashley out and Cena out. But Kennedy...he has charisma, he has mic skill, and he has a fan base...not to mention that storyline wise, he was suspended for pretending to be a McMahon...which would give him no love for Vince. Right now, I think they are going to book a feud between him and Jeff Hardy for the IC belt. Does anyone remember that guy Stone Cold Steve Austin and how they built him up? While Hardy is no Hart or a Michaels....it would be a good way to give him that push. So that's where I am getting the Kennedy face turn idea.

As far as being a fan favorite...I've always been under the impression that just because someone cheers for you doesn't mean you aren't doing your best to get heel heat. Umaga gets cheers...Orton gets cheers...they are heels. But like all things, we'll see....Jericho is going to generate alot of interest and like we've all learned...plans change.

look i really like jericho but hope he dosnt get the title straight away they have to work him into the title picture probly now we might see jericho win the royal rumble and get into the main event at WM 24 its stupid to think that orton dosnt deserve the title onlybecause he lost his first title defense and because the game just missed the 10 count he truly deserves the belt because it will straighten him out and give him the credibility he deserves for being good in the ring.

After thinking to myslef that sumthing was up wit every 1 shaking hands wit orton and wishing him luck in the future i wasnt sure who was gunna come out but to see hbk come out now takes all this speculation off those 2 promos and means Y2J will be back by Cyber Sunday! i wouldnt be suprised if sumthing weird happens up until that time wit the voting or sumthing like that cuz if u guys remember that in 1999 their was the computer virus scare i think called y2j and the Cyber Sunday theme has to deal wit computers or technology of some wat i think thats a perfect time for Y2J to return!!

I would love to see Y2J return and go to ECW and be teh champ there.
I think he could run a great prgroam with Morrison.
However I see the odds of this happening very low even though it would bring in great ratings for ECW.

I can almost guarantee that when Chris Jericho does come... he'll say almost a replica of what he said when he first debuted... "For those of you who dont know me, I am Chris Jericho. If and when Y2J makes his return I'd love for him to be on Raw. I'd like to see him feud with HHH and HBK. Hell I wouldn't mind him teaming up with Orton for a while to feud with DX. Y2J always put on a great show while facing HHH or HBK, so I'm sure now would be no different. I'm going to say that Y2J will be a heel, and with that being said I'm looking to see him also feud with Cena when he returns. That is if WWE wants to play a whole revenge angle since it was Cena who got Y2J "fired"

I agree w/ you to an extent. I really don't understand what all the hype was about him and don't understand the hype about him now. He's not going to boost ratings, the lame ass storylines won't change. Triple H will probably ruin him in the end. Just really don't see the point......

He is great in the ring and cuts some great promos.There is two things that are special about him.

We aren't saying he will save wrestling. He won't.He will contribute by adding star power and putting on some damn good matches.

His band has nothing to do with his return.

Jericho should definetly return to the ring. He has put on great matches, is good on the mic, and is some much needed star power to the current roster right now.

What have you been smoking? Jericho has a talent that few Wrestlers have, a combination of amazing Wrestling ability and the ability to talk. Cena doesn't have it, Hogan didn't have it, Batista certainly has not got it. Daivari has been misused if you have seen some of his other work. But Jericho is better than the majority of the Roster as well as the Star Power he has it would be a huge boost for RAW. And Fozzy aren't that bad, he can sing well. But then again it is hard Rock/Metal and that is not that well recieved these days.

I read couple of days ago the interview where Jericho didn't really sound like he was making a comeback. Still there has been rumors about him making a contract already. Hope he'll come back but he sounded just like The Rock when asked about the return, "everything is possible". Like in Rock's case never. I hope Jericho is different and he'll make the return.

Jericho is one of the most charismatic, talented stickmen I have ever had the good fortune to watch perform. His in ring ability is astounding, and he is a top rate worker. I do not see how his return can be anything but beneficial. I just hope he returns as a heel cos he is just priceless as the Ayatollah of Rock n' Rollllah!!!

I think Jericho would really help the wwe. I think he is an amazing talent and is also someone mainstream(he was on a reality show a couple months ago). He is a solid in-ring performer and also gold on the mic and wwe could definetly use him. I think the "save us" videos are about Jericho and hopefully he debuets @ either cyber sunday or Survivor series. I think Jericho is a top player and could really be good for the wwe(as long as creative or hhh doesn't burry him).

jericho is a gurantee to return all the signs are there...and at this moment with current lacking star power we need someone exactly like jericho to come back and put a fresh look on things...he has the wrestling skills the mic skils he has what is needed in the wwe at the moment...his return to raw can only been seen as positive...most likely we will c his face show on raw and no doubt see old feuds and new feuds surface when he makes his return which i have a feeling will be at cyber sunday...

Jericho won't return at Cyber Sunday. My thoughts are that he will return on RAW the next night, with everyone disappointed by him not being at Cyber Sunday, it would make it a bit more of a shock. I would like t think that he will be a heel, as that is when he has done most of his best work,but the reception he is gonna get may make that near impossible. We shall see...
