TNA sold out Lockdown in Massachusetts, and hardly any tickets were given away.

Granted, it was a 6,000 seat arena, but I didn't think TNA had much of a fanbase who would actually pay to attend one of their PPVs up here.

Ah well, if you feel the need to slate a Promotion that has already achieved so much in Wrestling already, has plenty of former WWE Wrestlers and Staff in their product, and makes more money in a week than you would in a Year, then go right ahead.

See, the way I see it, TNA will help the WWE to get better from the drab and the horrible booking and storylines and actually promote better use of their 2 Hour time slots on TV.

In turn, TNA will grow, and get better and better, to compete with the WWE and make the Wrestling world somewhere where we can all sit back and enjoy wrestling.

Thanks, largely to the anonymity the Internet offers, you, my cockney friend, have grown a huge chip on your shoulder, because I can assure you that you wouldnt repeat that comment to the thousands coming out of Stage 21 at Universal Studios. Why? Because many of them are ex-ECW and WCW fans. And being an ex-ECW fan, they are quite good at smashing beer bottles over peoples heads, as thats the kind of stuff they used to watch.

Certain things are wrong with TNA. That doesnt mean the whole promotion and their staff need slating for it. And Im pretty sure a few people will agree with me there. Its like saying "Ronaldo isnt committing to Man. United. Its the Clubs fault." Or like saying "EA Sports got a National Anthem wrong on the EURO 2008 game. Lets slag the company off for it."

TNA, Manchester United and EA Sports, as well as many REAL Wrestling Fans, will laugh at you, much like I am now.

If you dont like TNA... Dont watch. The remotes there for a reason. Im pretty sure your Sky or Cable subscription includes more channels than just Bravo...

SEriously though, fans of real wrestling watch the olympics. They give out tickets for shows as they have to because of location and people have been saying TNA will fold for years...I think they've lasted long enough to show it wont happen soon.

I usually just read every thread and post and just keep my thoughts to myself, but I feel the need to comment on this one.

Most people are right, and wrong. I have been a wrestling fan for 20 years now, and I am 27 years old. I would like nothing more than to have 2 promotions going strong at each other, but lets be honest, TNA is not going to be that other one!! Just because we want it to be, doesn't mean its going to be. TNA has some strong points, and a lot of weak ones. AJ story is strong right now, getting him respectible again, Joe is no good, Tag Teams have fallen off, but they have the right idea. Storm/Roode as a team? If you were going to do that, might as well not even have broken their teams up, singles all the way. Awesome Kong beating up "fans"? We are not stupid, we know they are not real fans, its a joke. Christopher Daniels, such a stupid move I dont even know what to say about it.

Now, is the WWE the best? No way. They need to do a lot more to keep fans like me, fans that have seen it ALL, interested. Marketing to 10-14 year olds will not keep 27 year olds interested. However, they have the name to put on mediocre shows and keep burying TNA.

Problem is, someone said TNA being there will get WWE to get better, and everyone would be happy. That would be true if TNA did something that made WWE think they had ANY reason to worry, which they dont. They redo good WWE ideas and make them bad, Shark Boy, enough said!!!!!! As much as TNA has accomplished, they are mid card, the whole federation is mid card. With their roster, they should be doing a lot better, but they cant.

I know wrestling as a whole is down, but even is bad times, WWE is 3's, rarely 4's, so I dont want to hear that TNA is doing good with 1's. Again, I'm not hear to bad mouth TNA entirely, but they are not even close to number 2!!

Id love to get into this debating stuff, so Id love to hear feedback, cant wait to hear the responses to this post. After all, it is based on facts, and not 100% feelings!!

Hey he6rt6g6m, sounds like you've been reading too many anti-wwe blogs. You've just regurgitated every piece of shit statement I've ever read bashing the WWE. And when you bashed that other guy for what he said you made some dumbass comment about how TNA makes more than that guy ever will. Well they are a company and he is an individiual. Apples and oranges idiot. TNA has plenty of old WWE talent? No they don't. They have Kurt Angle. They have Booker T. They have Kevin Nash. Kevin Nash is old and I'm honesty astonished to still see his injury prone ass still in the ring. Booker T wasted his first months in TNA fueding with Robert Roode over some ugly bitches. Now he's right back to his 'King Booker like' heel personality. Once again TNA wasting talent with crap storylines. WWE gives you a variety show that includes good matches, good promos, and good storylines. TNA management makes terrible matches and storylines. Without talent there wouldn't ever be a good fued or match in TNA. Whereas there have been plenty of good fueds in the past in WWE where the wrestlers might not have been so talented (Hulk Hogan for example) but the fued was good because the storyline was rich. Not that I'm defending bad wrestlers, but WWE can make something out of nothing where TNA can take something and turn it into nothing with their terrible decisons. Samoa Joe sucks. He can wrestle ok but he looks terrible and sounds stupid during promos. TNA does have some talented wrestlers but either because of bad gimmicks or just lack of proper booking they wind up wasting them all. Christopher Daniels, one of the best wrestlers ever in TNA, is now the stupid Curry Man gimmick shit that he was doing in Japan. People in Japan like it, but over here it's nothing more than comedy relief (and who's laughing?). He's too good of a wrestler to waste his time with a shit gimmick like that. They've wasted AJ Styles for months by putting him with man titty Tomko and Karen Angle. Prince AJ? Are you fucking kidding me? Petey Williams, who is a highly talented wrestler, had a great look to him until they decided it would be better to just make him look like Steiner Jr. What a bunch of fucking idiots TNA management are. Scott Steiner hasn't been able to wrestle worth a shit in years since he started hitting the juice hard. When he came to TNA he was nothing more than a familiar name and didn't have a single good match in TNA. And they decided to ruin Petey with a dumb fucking gimmick. TNA has talented wrestlers and if you find some you like that will keep you tuning in from time to time, but sooner or later you'll get burnt out because you're constantly asking 'who's booking this shit'. There are things and fueds and so on that fans always want to see in WWE and have to wait forever for because they don't want to give it all away too soon and always keep you wanting more. TNA Impact is so bad. The stories they waste time with are just terrible. And the writing is so bad that guys who have potential when they enter the company (like Matt Morgan) wind up coming off as corny and people loose interest fast. There are plenty more examples than just Morgan by the way. I could go on forever about all the awful management decisions TNA has made but I'll just close with the only thing dumber than TNA gimmick wrestlers might just be you Heartgram or whatever the fuck your name is. So says Shaw...

I mean there is really no one else besides ROH which definatly doesnt take the number two spot, yet...

Thats simple, there is no number 2 promotion!! Yes there is a second one to watch, but to have the honor of being a main player, you have to have something to watch. WCW is a great 2 promotion, and was even 1 for a while. It was a good number 2 because there was the potential for it to take over WWE, there is no potential for TNA to do that at this point in time, it just wont happen. Ratings wont jump from 1 to 3 any time soon. Competition is good, two competitive promotions make u choose who is 1 and who is 2. There is no debate, TNA has no chance of passing WWE, so WWE stands ALONE!!!

Kurt Angle said when he got there that TNA would be topping WWE in i think it was 2 years, maybe it was a year, and you see how big of a joke that was. I am pulling for TNA hard, i want WWE to be pushed to their limits, it makes for so much better shows. Until TNA does that, there is 1 standout promotion, WWE, TNA is in the second tier of promotions!!

No but seriously, theres no point in bashing TNA, the fact is they are an entertaining product that has grown very fast, and theyve had their bad spots but I have no doubt that they will get back to their winning ways, who knows with our support they may be the people to rival WWE one day.
