Glenn Gilbertti new blog (and why he is wrong)

Occasional Pre-Show
ok first off i read the blog about blasting internet reporters and i think he is kinda dumb because everything they say about tna and impact reviews and so on are completly right ,,internet reporters 1,,,Glenn Gilbertti 0

tna is just a basic rip off of wwe nomatter what you say its true, they sign these wwe rejects and put them into the main event sopts just cause they want ratings, they dont care about the tna guys who busted thier backsides for all the years when they started

and how tna demand thier superstars to bash wwe all the time in interviews trying to make them sound sound much nicer when they are not

not to mention how they rip off wwe gimmicks from the past,,super eric, isnt that a rip off of the hurricain???,,urmm i think it is,,

sharkboy ripping off the stone cold gimmick urmm o yea that is another 1

vmk wow isnt that the initals of the owner of wwe oo yea haha

the guy ripping off macho man randy savage wow there you go another rip off of formaer wwe man

abyss isnt he just a double rip off of the old kane and mankind?? urmm wow tna are surely making up thier own characters here hahaha

also at the end of the blog it reads "I guess TNA should learn some lessons from ROH, and their 300 fans they get each week to watch their shows."

at least ring of honor accually sell tickets to thier shows even if it is 300 least its paying customers, where as tna give tickets away free to make it look like they a sell out (and yes tna do give loads of free tickets away cause they cant sell them) go to univerisal sutios 1 day on a tna night they giving tickets away to everyone,,so basically thats it so to end this ,what we are all saying is tna sucks and they will never ever be a top company because they basically rip off everyone and cant come up with things themselfs

What? Could you put that in a more legible form for me? I was getting a headache halfway through.

One thing I did note that I want to address. TNA CAN'T charge tickets for shows at Universal Studios. They are forbidden. Once customers pay to get into Universal, they are free to go anywhere they want without paying.

Now, for the rest, please edit accordingly, so I can show you how wrong you are.

Gilbertti speaks a lot of sense, i agree with a lot of what he says. I don't agree with the way TNA is being run in the most part, but the small points that these so called expert reporters criticised are not is wrong with TNA. TNA has a lot of problems but picking out individual segments and criticising them is rather cheap, espcially when there wasn't really much wrong with them. Who the fuck are these so called reporters anyway, I'm more qualified to talk about wrestling than half of them who are wannabe movie critics. Who also seem to think they are criticising a movie thats late and over budget when they review these shows. I'm yet to see one internet wrestling reporter that has had any experiance in the wrestling business other than what they have watched on tv, and who doesn't base their opinions soley on personal preference. Disco should report the results for WZ, he has experiance and he can't be any worse than Ryan Clark.

TNA isn't forced to give tickets away. You don't have to pay for tickets to Universal Studios to attend a TNA event. It's free to go if you pay for the park or not.

On a related note it seems as if every time someone says anything bad about TNA Glenn has a hissy fit and feels the need to defend it as if it were his first born.

Some people don't like TNA so what? Some people don't like WWE so what?

All TNA fans need to at least deal with some Criticism without freaking out.

How can you not at least say a few bad things about TNA when they have guys running around with Guitar Hero guitars?

this is glenn's critique on the rest of the other critics' opinions.. that's fine.. i dont really care what the "critics" have to sayabout wrestling because they dont know jack shit

i dont have much to say about glenn's article about whether i agree or not. it's cool that he dissed them.. but kelkler/meltzer bitch about the stupidest things that nobody cares about...

Glenn's opinion on wrestling and what it needs is right though.. .

having been to Universal and then the TNA tapings I gotta say how awesome it is, bt you have to wait for about 2hours in the florida heat for a chance to get in which is a bit dissapointing. On a positive note (kind of) they do have to turn aout 1000 people away at every taping (that wasn't made up on wrestlezone.com i've witnessed it in person, twice!), that seems to indicate their a popular company.

Thats absolutely true, they should learn to take a bit o criticism. I'm a fan of both TNA and WWE (and ROH to much lesser extent) and they both have their own problems, but you don' see people getting so passionate about criticism towards the WWE, unless its about Cena that is...

This whole thing is asinine. Glenn should not get worked up about what some marks think of him, and marks should know their role and realize that that is all that they are: marks. Glenn's reaction was about as childish a reaction as I have ever seen. You are an f'n PROFESSIONAL Glenn, act like one. If I were management on this site, I would fire your ass faster than you could say "crappiest gimmick ever" for the way you have reacted to criticism. Dude, you get paid to do what you do, internet marks provide your money, don't piss where you eat. No wonder you could never rise above curtain puller status, your attitude sucks.

By the way, after I wade through all of the nonsense and whining, I actually DO like Glenn's opinions on the business, for the most part.

Oh, and ian, TNA does indeed rip off WWE, BUT Sting, Nash, Angle, and Booker are in no way rejects. And Cage and Tomko are no slouches. How many belts did Cage wear in the WWE? Steiner is a reject.

I won't say anything about TNA but i will use a cliche and say that opinions are like assholes, everyone has one but that doesn't mean that Disco has to BE an asshole in everything he posts on the internet.
