Mark Madden I Agree With Him

Occasional Pre-Show
ok here goes
Mark Madden's latest blog thing was one of the most truthful things anyone has accually wrote about on this website.

mick foley going to tna is just going to hurt him more than it hurts wwe, thats face it he is going from the greatest wrestling company (dont care if people disagree, cause facts prove more than any dumb TNA Fan Boys say,who come rate wwe ppv and stuff a F without even watching it lol,,better ratings, better ppv's, beter ticket sales, well lets face it tna give most all thier tickets away lol)

any ways back to what i was saying mick going from the big time to a 2 bit low company isnt going to further his legacy its only going to make it seem more worthless, he thinks its going to make him more of a star?? COURSE IT IS NOT, it is just going to water him down,i mean if u wanna be remembered in wrestling its wwe you wanna go,look at ric flair a legend ended his in ring wrestling in wwe to millions of people at wrestlemania, then had a great send off the next night on raw.

the only thing mick foley will get is people who only are at tna ppv's because tickets are given away for free.
in wwe he has the crowd chanting his name because they respect him,in tna the only reason they cheer and chant is because they are bribed to at the start of tna shows when people come out and say "you cheer and chant and whoever we think is loudest during the show can come backstage"
no offence but thats pretty cheap that they have to resort to bribes to get the people (who are given free tickets at universial studios) to cheer and scream to make them look popular.

TNA cant draw people or money hell they cant even make thier own stars and to make things seem bit clearer for the dumb tna fan boys is,,i am not a fan of the wwe version of ecw BUT even that show gets more fans for 1 hour than tna get for 2 hours

mick needs to really relise what he is doing this is suicide and relise if it wasnt for wwe promoting his books and stuff on raw and wwe.com he wouldnt have even been the newyork number 1 best seller for his books,i have already gone to micks myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=277358902 and told him all of this i hope he listens when he reads it

on closing i wanna give a big thumbs up to Mark Madden for being the only person on wrestlezone with sense also

MICK DONT BECOME ANOTHER LOSER IN TNA
YOUR A LEGEND DONT RUIN YOUR REPUTATION AND EVERYTHING
YOUR SMARTER THAN THAT

Haha.

You know what the funniest thing about that article is? The fact he contradicts himself.

"Name one person who came to TNA from WWE and means more now. Besides Gail Kim."

Thats the contradiction.

I think its hillarious that this guy is a commentator for a second rate television show in Wrestling, and now he thinks he knows more than a guy like Mick Foley or Kurt Angle? Dont get me wrong, I was a huge fan of the WCW brand, and the NB vs. MC angle which Madden was such a whining part of.

Fact is, if people like Kurt and Mick want to go to places like TNA, for the work schedule more than anything, then let them. They are the legends. They are the ones that have accomplished more than any of us will ever do in this sport. They have fought their right to have their decisions handled by themselves, so why dont people like Madden stop trying to run their lives for them, especially when they dont have a clue!

And if the reports Ive been reading on this situation are to go by, I wouldnt blame Foley for going to the competition, especially given the disrespect shown by Vince McMahon to Mick via the Announcers Headset.

Revenge is sweet.

EDIT: And to answer Madden's Question on "Naming One..." Jeff Hardy?

Mark Madden is an ass clown. He gets all high and might and tries to talk down about the IWC, when in fact, he's the biggest mark there is.

Jeff Hardy went to TNA and within a few months he was jobbed out.. He came in, they hotshotted a feud with Jarrett and after that, nothing memorable came from his tenure in TNA so lets rule that out.

Christian Cage is the only guy who can come remotely close to being better off in TNA than WWE and ONLY because he was TNA World Champion because as far as his Character goes, i'll take his WWE character anyday.. People may say its' the same but all it is is watered down version of his WWE character.

Team 3D: Aside from aligning with Kurt Angle, they've done nothing since coming to TNA.. Team 3D and the Steiners was supposed to be a dream feud.. Instead it sucked and it only got worse when they did a double switch IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FEUD and turned 3D heel and the Steiners face..Never a good move.. I can't really remember a feud with Team 3D that was remotely memorable other than getting their asses whooped by AMW and Jarrett when they first came in.

Rhino: The highlight of Rhino's tenure is his 2 WEEK Championship reign and his alliance with Christian... Forgive me if i'm not impressed. He had decent feuds with Abyss and Christian.. His feud with James Storm was overrated.. I never really found it that interesting... So, Rhino went in to rehab because he was feuding with a guy who drank alotta beer... Really? No wonder WWE never feuded him with Stone Cold Steve Austin..

BG James: He's been a World Tag Team Champion but really, does anyone even CARE about him anymore?Eversince 3LK disbanded, BG's been jobbed.. His claim to fame in TNA is reuniting with Billy Gunn as the VoodooKinMafia and mocking DX which garnered next to no reaction and wasn't even the SLIGHTEST bit humorous and their skits often bored me to tears.

Booker T: He hasn't really been in TNA long enough to classify him as another WWE bust.. But lets look at his TNA career thus far.. He LOST his debut match.. That should say it all right there.. He came in with a nice little marketing campaign ala Y2J's WWE return... But then he came in as a mystery partner and....Lost?He's had solid feuds with Robert Roode and Samoa Joe and now seems to be aligned with Sting and Kurt Angle. Solid so far but his overall record doesnt suggest that.

Christy Hemme: Highlight? A sexist feud with Kip James and managing punk rock rejects.. Nuff said.

Jacqueline: Nothing noteworthy other than bein James Storm's drinking buddy.

Kip James: Had a reunion with BG James.. Once that ended, so did his career.. Now he's doing his best impersonation of Rico to the Beautiful People.. If ANYONE ever needed a return trip to the WWE, it's this guy.. He's looked gay more than Adrian Adonis.

Raven: He had decent feuds with James Mitchell's cronies and Sabu but Other than Ken Shamrock and Rhino, Raven may go down as one of the least memorable World Champions in TNA history.. He only got the Title because Jarrett got pulled last minute in the KOTM match. His reign was mostly overshadowed by Jeff Jarrett who wasn't even FEUDING with him(Abyss was).. Then they didn't even give Raven the respect of dropping the Title on a TNA BROADCAST.. He dropped the title back to Jarrett in the middle of the night in Canada somewhere.. That should tell you about their confidence in Raven. His last angle with Serontinin should be the exclamation point on an otherwise disappointing last 5 years of his career.

Kurt Angle: He's been TNA Champion but he's been made mostly to look like a goofball.. The entire Kurt/Karen/AJ angle was nothing short of a rip off of the HHH/Kurt/Steph angle in the early 2000s. He's had good matches with Samoa Joe and AJ Styles but his matches have come nowhere near the quality he was displaying in WWE and in TNA he's just basically turned himself in to Triple H only less dominant. Solid but not WWE caliber.

Matt Morgan: Other than bein Cornette's hired gun briefly, Matt Morgan hasn't really done ANYTHING of note in TNA.. He was apart of Team Christian but that was only by default because everyoneelse was booked.. Now hes' teaming up with Abyss who makes a few TV appearances then disappears for 3 months.

Salinas: She was worthless in both WWE and TNA so no surprise there.. Nice to look at but not much in the usefulness department.

Gail Kim: She was the FIRST Knockouts Champion in TNA.. That alone puts her with Christian asfar as successfull transitions from WWE to TNA goes.. But after she lost that Title(much too soon I might add) what really happened to her? Nothing.. Once she lost that belt, TNA started focusing on ODB as the face of that division and Gail was pretty much finished. I saw the writing on the wall for her when Taylor Wilde came in, billed as a "fan" and defeated Awesome Kong twice in a row.

I didn't bother to include guys like Sting, Scott Steiner, and Kevin Nash because I really consider them "WCW guys" now(eventhough Steiner and Nash made pitstops in WWE on their way to TNA) and thats a whole nother issue..So yeah.. If Foley wants to, he can look at Gail Kim and Christian Cage and even possibly Kurt Angle as examples that goin from WWE to TNA CAN work.. But he should also look at Team 3D, Rhino, Raven, JEFF HARDY, BG James, and Kip James and realize that sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side(just ask Chris Harris).
