What's your background? I've been seriously thinking about giving MMA a shot after college, so might as well start gathering opinions from people.

I got up to my junior green, the highest level you can get to under sixteen years of age, and only to blue belt until I couldn't do it anymore. I also wrestled for a couple years in highschool and did kickboxing for about 3 years. It was a dream to fight professionally since the first time I saw Rocky.

Get into it young. Don't wait because the sport is not forgiving on age, or so I've been told. Even with training, you either have something or you don't. Majority of people don't.

No unfortunately he won't. Not only that but I don't see him having more than maybe 6 fights left in his career. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it happen. With M-1 though on his side the chances don't look very good. Luckily the UFC has an awesome HW division right now and it's more entertaining than it's ever been.

Learning is always fun, stay in school.

Things are good on this end. I sold my half of my restaurant a couple days ago. I really love the business but I still feel young and like I have a ton of things I want to to and running a business like that is insanely hard work. I'm still managing the place so I get to do my thing and not have so much of a finincial tie to the place.

I agree 100% with you, M1 definitely is screwing that up from happing, I guess we get to see him give Lashley his first loss at some point, thats about it!! Unless something drastic happens in UFC and they lose a top HW. If only boxing can get a Stacked HW class now
