Is the first half of the show worth looking up tomorrow? I missed it, and I don't wanna search it out if it wasn't that good.
Fuck yes if only for the opening match with MCMG vs. the debuting Young Bucks. Solid match.

Jeff Hardy will be the X-Division champion come Sunday night. Bet on it.

AJ's not being a heel, guys. Just an ultra competitor.
There absolutely is no comparing iMPACT! to RAW. iMPACT! kicks Raw's ass in every way. I found this show so much more enjoyable than Raw.
Alright show. Better than last week. Could have used a Mick Foley or Scott Steiner promo.
Totally failed to build the PPV, but as I said at the start of this LD, I think TNA have basically acknowledged that they're sacrificing this PPV's build in the name of the bigger picture.

I know, I just felt like starting a wave of reaction. For what some may consider my "stupid" Anti-Pope posting earlier. Kind of a penance, of sorts. That, and he seemed legitimately pissed off.
Who was it that said there wasn't even a handful of Great Angle matches?![]()
Madison can pin me.
Who was champ at the time of that Joe/Angle match?
I fucking hope so.
That sounds awesome, did they actually get time to work?
OK X, you may be right, I really didn't take the time to time the matches to see how much of the show was old guys versus young guys. It just seemed to me that as a lifelong WWE fan who is really trying to watch TNA and hoping it succeeds to improve both itself and WWE, there's been a lot of hype about all the new young talent, yet we're still seeing an awful lot of old guys like Hall, Waltman and the Nasty Boys.
Of course it's not a bad thing to see Hogan, Bischoff, Flair, or Jarrett on camera. All of these guys are legends (well 3/4 anyway). I'm certainly not bashing them. I just fear that their on-camera action will de-evolve into in-ring action. I would rather see the new guys, rather than Hogan/Jarrett or Flair/Sting which I fear is not too far off.
By the way, my Mick Foley comment was subtle sarcasm about the prospect of being visited by another old guy.
Now on to you, FTS. A little defensive about your beloved TNA, telling me to stop watching just because I don't agree with everything you say. I thought this was a discussion site for both sides of the story. Last time I checked I was entitled to an opinion too, even if it's a little critical of TNA. I have no plans to "shit on TNA" and don't think that's what I'm doing. I just find it peculiar that people on this site continue to sing the praises of TNA like it's competition for WWE now, today, when it's not. I hope it will be, I really do. But if this is going to happen, the dead weight (np pun intended) such as the Nasty Boys and Scott Hall have got to go.
Let's not pretend that The Young Bucks is a 'good' tag team name.
And I don't think that was Taz slipping up; I think that was Taz giving a quick shout out to the Smarks at home. You can tell by the way his grammar was accurate.
No I know, I was just messing around. Obviously if it was actually a slip-up TNA would have just edited it out. He made a similar comment when Nigel debuted if I remember correctly.
And I've always liked their name actually, The Young Bucks is exactly what they are. They're everything the Hardy Boys wish they could have been once they hit the WWF. Young Bucks remind me of an OMEGA-Era Hardys, only more talented in the ring.
