All WWE '12 Discussion

Well first off I have to say I got my Live back up and running and love the "Community Creations", thanks to some awesome people uploading some sick CAW's I now have alot more star power to my WWE Universe.

Anyways tonight I will be having "Vengeance"

WWE Champ: John Cena
U.S Champ: Kevin Nash
Tag Champs: L.O.D
World Champ: Undertaker
Intercontinental Champ: Cody Rhodes

*Final Match Card*

Intercontinental Championship: Cody Rhodes vs Golddust
(Rematch from Over the Limit which saw Cody retaining the IC Belt.

United States Championship: Kevin Nash vs Edge vs CM Punk vs Razor Ramon
(Nash beat CM Punk for the strap at Over the Limit and Edge defeated Nash the following night on raw in a normal match, figured these three were the ones in line for this title as of right now and as of yesterday with the download of Razor, figured I would get him involved right away with long time buddy Kevin Nash! This will likely start the storyline I will push for with a feud of "The Outsider's"

Tag Team Championship: Legion of Doom vs Unstoppable(Vader and Mark Henry)

Hawk and Animal are the champs and this will be their first title defense as I begin to revive my tag division.

IronMan Match: Zack Ryder vs Randy Orton

As mentioned before the history is well documented between these guys, such a difference in stats making the match ups extremely interesting and entertaining, Zack has come extremely close on two occasions in defeating Orton one of those being this past Wrestlemania. Zack recently turned heel and attacked Booker T sparking a new Ryder and constant harrassment of Orton for the past few months will lead to the blow off feud in an Ironman Match, will Ryder finally get one over on Orton?

WWE Title Match: John Cena vs Stone Cold(Best of 3 Falls)

These two put on two classic matches. one at mania and one at Backlash which saw Cena winning both matches. Now with the title on the line and a new fire in the rattlesnake to win at all costs, only one of these biggest icons in gaming/entertainment history will walk out with the strap.

World Championship: Undertaker vs Big Show vs Dolph Ziggler

Newly crowned champ The Undertaker will put his title on the line against newly crowned NO 1 Contender Big Show and recent rival Dolph Ziggler. Ziggs and Taker had a classic match at Wrestlemania and another at Backlash which saw Taker barely getting the victory on the young Dolph. Now a fan favorite and hot as ever, Ziggler is determined as ever to get a victory over the deadman. The focus basically is on Ziggler and Undertaker, Ziggler was in a match up with Wade Barrett this past Smackdown which saw Dolph picking up the win but not before the lights went out and The Undertaker's presence was imminent. Wade was injured as a result of this match. Can Ziggler cement his name in history in toppling the legendary deadman and walk out with the World Title, or will Big show be the one who leaves Vengeance with the championship, or will the Phenom prove once again why he has had 20 years of sheer dominance in the WWE?

Results to come.

Surprised you were able to get CC to actually work as I have not been able to connect for at least a week or so.

I think this game is a definte improvement over the SmackDown vs RAW series, but it stills seems "dull". Mostly because of the lack of a decent story mode, STILL lol. With that said, this defently is the most realistic in terms of gameplay. When I ever punch using Sheamus it feels like I'm really Sheamus, the punches sort have a weight to them if that makes any sense.

This is funny because I actually thought the same thing with Sheamus' punches, it is weird but I like it and totally agree with you

CC has been hit and miss for me. I've managed to get a few CAWs, thankfully, but most of it is searching and waiting only for it to stop working at the last second.

I don't understand how it was working great before the patch and then became a mess straight after.

Odd.... On Smackdown the week after Survivor Series the main event was Orton vs HBK. As Orton made his entrance he came out injured and HHH who is a team with HBK replaced Orton. So it was heel vs heel. After the match a heel Lesnar returned from injury and attacked heel HHH.

The remarkable rematch on Raw was Orton vs HHH/HBK/Lesnar... ????

*Vengeance Results*
Well it took about an hour and a half but the results are in, it was an awesome ppv and loads of fun.

1st Match was the tag team title match- L.O.D defends against Vader and Mark Henry.
I am not a huge fan of tag team matches personally but this one was fairly decent, I was L.O.D and dominated at the first, as the match went on Vader n Henry dominated straight up until the end and probably would have won the match if Hawk had not been saved by Animal, the match ended with a Doomsday device on Henry, pretty sick ending.
Still Champions: L.O.D

2nd Match was the Intercontinental Title: Rhodes defends against Goldust:
Great match and tons of fun, real back and forth which saw Goldust hit 3 "Final Cut's" and Rhodes survived them all, kick out, ring escape, etc; ( I played as Goldust ) Just when I was about to finish off rhodes he literally came out of nowhere and hit a crossroads to retain the title. This feud is far from over
Still Champ:Cody Rhodes

3rd: the U.S title match-4 Man elimination- Nash defends against Punk,Edge,Razor Ramon!-
I used Razor, just lit up Nash in the early going really kickin ass, hit Edge with the Razor's edge and got a near fall, continued to light up Nash throughout until he reversed the Razors Edge and hit the jacknife which resulted in Razor being eliminated!
Punk got Nash to tap out to the Anaconda Vise and hit Edge with the GTS to regain the US title! Nash and Razor are now in a feud
New Champion:CM Punk

4th: best of 3 Falls-wwe Title-Cena defends against Austin- I was Austin

This may be the best match I have ever had no joke!
Like the last 3 matches this was absolutely stellar!
The kind of match you dream of having in a WWE game.
Austin kicked out of 2 AA's and hit a stunner on Cena and still no pinfalls! kick out after kick out truely amazing! Cena could not put Austin away in the early goings and finally Austin hit a second stunner and gained a pinfall!
Right afterwards Cena scored a pinfall as well, were tied 1 a piece.
Austin is a bloody mess and the battle rages on until Cena hit his facebuster and put Austin away for the win.

Didn't mind this outcome, Cena is a strong champ and wont lose the belt easily, these 3 have had 3 outstanding matches and Austin finally got a pinfall over Cena and both are straight up even. Austin will move on to something else and remain in the title hunt.
Still WWE Champ: John Cena

Ironman Match: Ryder(me) vs Orton-
set for 10 minutes the match began like the last 2, Ryder hitting fast and hard trying to get the advantage, Orton is just better then Ryder right now pure and simple, Ryder needs this win to get up in the rankings.
After 2 Rough Ryders and one from the top rope finally Ryder gets the first decision with 4 minutes to go!
Orton comes back within a minute and hits an RKO for his first decision, tied up now.
In the last 2 minutes Orton gets another decision with the RKO, and with about 50 seconds left Ryder hits another rough rider and ties things back up.
Ryder hits a ddt and goes for the win but Orton kicks out at 2 1/2!! Orton hits Ryder with a DDT of his own with 9 seconds left!
Ryder somehow kicks out! and the match ends in a draw!
DRAW

Definitely thought Ryder was done on that last DDT. Was hoping this would be the blow off match for these two so not sure where to go from here, maybe one more can be put in the works.

6th match: world title triple threat elimination: Taker vs Show vs Ziggler-(me)

Typical triple threat match, interesting point in the match where taker tombstoned show then went to do it again Show reverses it as he is coming around Dolph goes for the Zig Zag but show counters it and hits the Chokeslam on Ziggs!
The match continues and Dolph hits the Zigzag on Taker but gets a nearfall! Taker tries to charge Dolph mid match and Dolph reverses it into a roll up pin scoring the 3 count on taker!
Dolph finally pins taker, were going to have a new champ here! Dolph and show battle and Dolph is chokeslammed from the top rope! Dolph manages to kick out and hit a zig zag but Show gets a rope break! Dolph goes for another ZigZag and Show counters it into a Chokeslam! 1..2..3!
Big Show is your new world champion!... but wait.. out comes Brock Lesnar from his injury! Viciously attacking Big Show and throwing him into the stairs as Vengeance goes off the air.
New World Champion: Big Show

Probably going to finish of the Taker/Ziggler storyline on Smackdown as Money in the Bank approaches, Ziggler has gotten the push he needed.

Just finished the Rumble.

The PPV started with Brock Lesnar defending the Hardcore title against AJ Styles (which he had only won on Thursday in a triple threat against Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho). Lesnar was mostly dominating, me as Styles finally caught a break by countering the F5 and hitting the styles clash. Big Show then ran out to try and attack me but HHH (who turned face because of this) came out and defending AJ. I as AJ eventually managed to put away the beast after 3 more styles clashes.

Next up Sheamus defending the IC title against Cody Rhodes. I played as Sheamus, tossed Cody around a bit and easily retained.

Next up the new diva's divisions first ppv match. Trish Stratus defending against Victoria and Harley Quinn. Quinn won after laying both women out with a steel chair.

In the fourth match Miz and Morrison defended their tag titles against Beer Money. It was a hard fought battle. I was playing as Storm and near the end me and Roode both hit our finishers on Miz and Morrison and started to climb the cage. I managed to get over but Morrison got up in time and pulled Roode back it. After laying Roode out Miz & Morrison climbed out together to retain.

The world title match was Samoa Joe cashing in MitB against Steve Austin in a falls count anywhere match. Austin won the east squash. After the match Vince McMahon returned for the first time in over four years and celebrated with Austin.

For the Rumble because I'm bored I shall keep track of entrances and eliminations. I shall be playing Sheamus due to his real life win. Also James Storm and Alberto Del Rio are not eligible to be entered as they won the previous two years, I also kept out Roode, Miz and Morrison.

I was shocked when the bots teamed up on me to eliminate me. The returning superstar didn't win for once. Taker had a strong run before i came in. Congratulations Daniel Bryan the face turn a week before the Rumble payed off. Now who should DB face at Mania...

So... Christian (a WCW guy) returns from injury and attacks Sting (a Raw guy) on an episode of Raw. Sting didnt injure Christian.

Christian is now immediately number 2 contender to the World Heavyweight Title on Nitro, having been down in the 20s before his injury.

So fucking annoying.

My biggest gripe with WWE universe is there are too many champions. Is there a way that you can drop some titles, like the WCW sprayed titles? So that there is one WWE Champ, one, World Champ and so on?

That was just like earlier in my Universe mode where DB returned from injury and since Lesnar (the one who injured him) was also injured so DB came out and... attacked Foley who he had no previous encounters with.

Dump all the titles on someone you don't use. For example Arn Anderson is my every champion besides world/hardcore/IC. Remove them from active rosters and ignore.

I really wish titles could be vacated in universe mode.

I like having all these Championships and wish there were a few more that are missing. Namely:

• WWE Title (Winged Eagle from Legends Of WrestleMania)
• WWE Title (Austin’s Smoking Skull Belt)
• WWE Title (The Rock’s Brahma Bull Belt)
• WWE Title (Rated R SuperStar Spinner)
• WWE United States Title (Spinner, just for $#!+s and giggles)
• WWE World Tag Team Title (Classic Title last used by Chris Jericho and Christian)
• NWO World Title (or at least change the spray painted Big Gold Belt to the NWO version)
• WCW United States Title
• WCW Television Title
• WCW Hardcore Title
• WCW Cruiserweight Title
• WCW Tag Team Titles
• ECW Television Title
• ECW Tag Team Titles
• FTW Title (I know, I know)
• King Of The Ring Crown
• Smackdown Blue Money In The Bank Briefcase (If this is going to be a wish list, then let’s make it a wish list!!)

Anyway, I just treat the unranked Titles the same way the WWE treats the Million Dollar Title.

Monday – SuperStars (WWE Legends and Raw Rosters)

Ranked
Major – Undisputed Championship – Triple H
Minor – WWE (Attitude Era) Championship – Stone Cold Steve Austin
Tag – WWE Tag Team – Demolition
Female – Women’s – Trish Stratus

Unranked
Batista – Champion of Champions
Christian – Intercontinental Champion / Classic Christian is the Unified Tag Team Champion
Edge – Classic Edge is the Unified Tag Team Champion
John Cena – WWE Champion (Spinner) and WCW Spray Painted WWE Champion (Spinner)
The Rock – Classic Intercontinental Champion
Mark Henry – Classic ECW Champion

Friday – Nitro (WCW Legends and Smackdown Rosters)

Ranked
Major – World Championship – Macho Man Randy Savage
Minor – WCW Championship – Vader
Tag – World Tag Team – Road Warriors
Female – Divas – Michelle McCool

Unranked
Eddie Guerrero – United States Champion
Kevin Nash –WCW Spray Painted World Champion
Mick Foley – Hardcore Champion
Rey Mysterio – Cruiserweight Champion
William Regal – European Champion
Ezekiel Jackson – ECW Champion
Sin Cara – Light Heavyweight Champion
Ted Dibiase – Million Dollar Champion

It doesn’t bother me one bit…okay, there is one bit that bothers me. The Money In The Bank Winner, the Miz cashed in on an unranked Champion once. It was John Cena and one of his Spinners. I quickly changed that back.

Why would you want more titles? So that everyone on the roster pretty much has a belt???

I don't see the point of having about 10 World Titles at one time, its a bit OTT for me.

One World Heayweight Champion for WCW and one Attitude Era WWE Champion for Raw is more than enough for me!

I really wish I could remove certain title belts from Universe. I have all the belts I'm not using on Otunga, who's a free agent.

Also really hate when there's a #1 contenders match on SD! & my RAW world champion is sitting at ringside, then attacks the #1 contender for the SD! world title after the match.

Had a huge upset on the Monday Night Superstars show right before Over the Limit.

Chris Jericho made his return from injury and was automatically put into a WWE title match against champion TS Punk. TS had been having feuds with Sid Vicious, Bret Hart, and former champion and tag team partner CM Punk. TS has put out Bret Hitman Hart after severely injuring him in a Tables match on the previous weeks Superstars. He fought off attacks from Sid Vicious on Clash of Champions (Thursday Night Show), successfully defending his belt there. Then came the return of Y2J. TS Punk was dominating much of the match and ready to hit his finishing move (The Jackhammer) when Jericho counters into a Small Package Roll Up and gets the pin fall victory becoming the new WWE Champion!!

So now we have Over the Limit PPV results:

Long Island Funk retained the WCW Tag Team titles beating Edge and Christian in a Tag Team Ladder Match. Brodus Clay climbed the ladder and knocked Edge of the ladder onto another ladder then grabbed the belts for the victory.

Rey Mysterio got a DQ win, but not the championship, over Intercontinental Champion William Regal. Regal was disqualified when he Superplexed Mysterio through a table.

Eve Torres became the new WWE Womens Champion by barely beating Kharma for the title.

Daniel Bryan successfully defended his US Championship against the Ultimate Warrior in a falls count anywhere match. Bryan made the Warrior tap out to the Label Lock outside the ring on the floor. Warrior was carted off on a stretcher after the match and is now on the injured list.

WCW Champion Ricky the Dragon Steamboat successfully defended his championship getting the pinfall victory over #1 contender Cody Rhodes.

Chris Jericho retained the WWE Championship over TS Punk in a match that saw Sid Vicious attack TS Punk before the match and also had CM Punk attack and lay out both men during the match. I think a see a Fatal 4 Way math in these mens futures.

It’s really all just cosmetic. I know which Titles actually count and which ones don’t. The best part of the Monday Night Wars was that there were two (in some cases 3) of every Championship. Championships and Stables are kind of my thing. So a card like this would make me mark out all the time.

Women’s Champion – Trish Stratus vs. Divas Champion – Michelle McCool

Light Heavyweight Champion – Sin Cara vs. Cruiserweight Champion – Rey Mysterio

6 Man Battle Royal
Classic ECW Champion – Mark Henry vs. WWECW Champion – Ezekiel Jackson vs. ½ of the Unified Tag Team Champion – Edge vs. European Champion – William Regal vs. Hardcore Champion – Mick Foley vs. Million Dollar Champion – Ted DiBiase

WWE Tag Team Champions – Demolition vs. World Tag Team Champions – The Road Warriors.

Fatal Four Way
Champion of Champions – Batista vs. Classic Intercontinental Champion – The Rock vs. Intercontinental Champion and ½ of the Unified Tag Team Champion – Christian vs. United States Champion – Eddie Guerrero

Team WWE
Undisputed Champion – Triple H, WWE (Attitude Era) Champion – Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Spinning Champion – John Cena
vs.
Team WCW
World Champion – Macho Man Randy Savage, WCW Champion – Vader, and WCW Spray Painted World Champion – Kevin Nash

I'm stealing this TT name, been trying to figure out what to call my Ryder/Clay TT for awhile.

Thats awesome dude, go right ahead. It just came to me as soon as I thought about putting the two of them together. They are currently my best team I have on WWE 12, and I love their entrance!

Hah. On TNA (Thursdays) after the rumble it was HHH vs Swagger which HHH won. Ziggles and Vickie joined Swagger in beating HHH down post match. Next was AJ Styles vs Ziggles. AJ got the win and Swagger/Ziggles/Vickie beat him down post match and declared they wanted AJ's Hardcore title. The main event was the IC title rematch from the rumble Sheamus vs Rhodes. Sheamus won once more and post match Swagger/Ziggles came out on the entrance ramp and declared they wanted the IC title as well.

On Smackdown HBK turned face by saving Kofi (after Kofi had just beat him) from an attack by Lesnar. In the main event after Batista ate Christopher Daniels alive he tried to break his leg post match when CM Punk made his official return to scare Batista away.

I've got the EC card down for the most part.
EC match Austin defending the World title against Punk, Batista, Miz, Morrison and Samoa Joe.
#1 contender ship match for the tag titles Beer Money Inc vs Del Rio/Brodus Clay.
IC Title Sheamus vs Swagger
Hardcore title AJ Styles vs Ziggles

Just had Money in the Bank... Kinda winged the card as I was playing with my cousin and since I had to get some fresh feuds going since Vengeance was supposed to be used as a blowoff for some feuds.

CM Punk defended his U.S title in a fatal 4 way against Edge,Nash and Jericho which saw Jericho capturing the title on his 1st PPV as he won the chance to bne in the match on Smackdown. I can continue with the Hall/Nash feud now that Nash is out of the title picture and possibly get a Y2J/Punk or Y2J/Edge feud happening.

Cody Rhodes defended the IC title in a fatal 4 way against Ted,Goldust and Drew Mcyintre. Drew was sort of a wildcard and my cousin had been on a role with him and Ted and Goldust were the top contenders. Drew picked up the victory and became new IC Champ. I expect a rematch of some sorts. (I find it hard to find single feuds with these US/IC titles as I am trying to make them prestigious as possible but there are so many that are deserving of this one belt.

John Cena defended the WWE title against Brock Lesnar as Lesnar returned at Vengeance attacking Show then headed over to Raw and dominated to get his title shot. after 5 AA's and 3 F-5's Cena somehow managed to pick up the win and retain the title. Cena has been on a role and worked his way up the card over the last year during the game and truly deserves his reign at the moment. (as much as i do not like Cena in real life)

Crowded in the World title picture right now after the triple threat at Vengeance we decided to have a Fatal 4 way for the World title (Might as well been the Fatal 4 Way ppv but like i said its crowded at the top of the mountain right now and it is funner and more predictable while im playing with my cousin) Big Show defends against Undertaker,Miz and Sheamus. Awesome match and tons of nearfalls, really impressed with the Big Show here as he did a fantastic job trying to keep the title. Sheamus wins out of nowhere here and I expect to see a match with Show and Sheamus in the future. (Undertaker is stuck with nowhere to go right now and the feud with Dolph seems to have worn off after Ziggs picked up the win.

For the Money in the Bank we switched it up a bit. Continuing with the Ryder/Orton feud they were thrown into the match along with returning Goldberg, and RVD, Ziggler and Christian were thrown into the mix. I was Ziggler, cousin was Christian, seriously surprised Ziggs was not injured as he received 9 killswitch finishers, multiple RKOs, Spears, Jackhammers, Rough Riders! Ryder almost won several times and he and orton battled it out most of the match, Ryder was on the ground most of the match as well. The end came at the 28 minute mark when Ziggs was reaching for the title and goldberg threw him off the top to capture the briefcase. Not sure where to go from here with Dolph but it is looking like something may come up with most of these men next month at SummerSlam, Ziggs continues to be one step away from greatness each PPV I think it makes for a good story. Also a big return can be expected by SummerSlam with one of my recent DLC's
