Unless there is some way of changing it that I'm unaware of that is true. The default WWE show set is the set for CAA.

Also, I enjoy how the draft feature was "fixed" by the patch.
if by "fixed" you mean "fucked up even worse" then yes. With the firs two picks, I had a legend who was on no roster get drafted, and then someone get drafted to a show they were already on. The best of times.

It took away one of my matches for my thursday show. I only got to have two matches on it this week.

It did that to me on RAW one week, except it took away the last two matches on the card, I turned it off for the night, then the next day when I went to play again it added the 2 matches back on.

Just spent several hours taking themes for all my and my friend's CAWs and setting them to the proper sound level AND making them sound like they're being played in an arena.

How do you do this? Seems like something THQ would've fixed a couple of games ago.
Open the theme in Audacity. Press ctrl+A to select the whole thing. Go to the Gverb option in the effect menu, and insert these values:
Once that's done, go to Amplify and set the "New Peak Amplitude (dB)" to -3 and boom, the theme should be good for use in the game and sound all neat and echoey to boot.
If you don't want them to have the arena effect, skip the first step.

Do you set feuds? Make custom matches? Do you follow the brand split? I ignored the brand split from day one, originally made custom matches for every show (until it started to pick up on who i wanted to appear). Make sure some people are feuding with multiple people.
If that doesn't invoke more cutscenes then
At survivor series the multi month feud (which started as Miz vs Austin after MitB) of Miz vs Austin vs Storm finally ended with Austin winning the World title once and for all in a falls count anywhere match.
Also my other big feud that ended at Survivor Series. A heel HHH & Face Foley defeated Heel Daniel Bryan and R Truth. The feud made no sense but it had to keep going.

Spent a couple of hours last night messing around with the custom themes for most of my CAWs, giving them their proper entrance themes and realistic entrance moves. So much more fun now they come out to actual music instead of silence and boring ring-walks.

You guys are out of control...do you have 6 man tag matches for. Every match or something? I have aboouuutt 5 caws in the game, and the normal roster, and still have people go MONTHS without getting used

I do have guys that are barely used, but I have a roster of about 35 for each brand.
I have taken alot of the WWE guys out and put them in free-agents. Guys like Kidd, Otunga, McGillicutty, Ryan, Slater, Kozlov, Santino, Regal, Husky etc are not in my Universe. I barely use most of the mid-card WWE guys to be honest. I cant remember the last time Big Zeke, DiBiase or Chavo had a match.

I have 32 on SD, about 25 on RAW, and 12 legends I use for mostly jobbing on Nitro (the thursday show) and even with that meager roster (in comparison to yours) I have a HELL of a time finding space to keep everyone busy.
It drives me fucking bonkers that they dont let you set up a "Segment / Match" balance. You should be given 10 segments per show, a promo takes 1 Segment, a match takes 2, or some shit like that. 15 Segments for PPV, 20 for WM.

Rep for that NorCal, that is an awesome idea. I hope that THQ realises just how limited Universe is and does something like that on the next game.
There should be a section to where you can set up feuds over a set period of time, and over a certain storyline- I think there was something like this on GM mode on an earlier game???
The promo idea would be cool if they could find a way of making it work, and impoving the feud/rivalry.
And more matches per show are needed I think, especially for Superstars.
That sounds a hell of a lot better. Sort of a mash up of GM Mode and Universe. I rarely venture into playing mine as I just don't enjoy video games unless I'm hanging out with friends. Then we usually just do random ass matches.
I'd also like the option to set #1 contenders matches. Hell setting the entire title contenders list myself. There are so many things they could do with universe mode yet they probably won't.
I wish someone would make a decent looking Kurt Angle and upload it to community creations (PS3). People have made some great CAW's except for Angle. I deleted allot of my CAW's today as well. All that remains is Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, James Storm, Robert Roode, Aj Styles, Daniels, Samoa Joe, Scott Hall and MVP.

I dont know why everyone wants / DLs a Kurt Angle. I dont like having duplicate characters in my Universe, and someone already has that gimmick. His name is Jack Swagger.
Swags was destined to be pushed in mine when I played it. I tried to put him in the midcard to build up the US title (obvious right) yet hed keep breaking into my top two of WWE title contenders. I think at one point he held both the titles before I started over.
EDIT: Add Mason Ryan to that as well. My game just loves him unfortunately.
My game loves my James Storm CAW and Del Rio. They are always at the top. Austin has only recently managed to make the top 5. The other top spots are held by the tag champs who ever they are at the time.

Extreme Rules has come and gone.
TS Punk retained the WWE Championship, completely destroying CM Punk in an Extreme Rules match. CM went through about a 12 tables, including the announcers table when TS hit him with a Flying Elbow Drop right through the announcers table! Chairshots, Kendo Sticks, Sledge Hammers, Guitars, Crutches, the steel steps, you name it, CM Punk got hit with it in this match. CM Punk is unfortunately is now out on the injured list. After the match TS Punk was jumped by Sid Vicious and Maryse pretty much turning TS face in the process.
Ricky Steamboat retained the WCW title in a triple threat match against former champ Macho Man Randy Savage and Alberto Del Rio. Steamboat hit the Flying Crossbody from the top rope Savage to secure the pinfall victory.
Los Guerreros became the WWE Tag Team Champions beating Black Gold in a classic Tag Team clash!
Kharma defeated Lita to become the new Womens Champion when she hit Lita with the Implant Buster.
William Regal regained the Intercontinental Championship, beating Cody Rhodes in a best 2 out of 3 falls Extreme Rules match. Regal won the first fall using Brass Knuckles to KO Rhodes. Rhodes won the second fall with Crossroads, and Regal won the third and deciding fall after hitting a top rope Superplex on Rhodes.
Daniel Bryan retained his US Championship after beating Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat Submission Match. Bryan KO'd Lesnar with the Shining Wizard and then made Ziggler tap out in the Label Lock.
