Have you checked if he's injured?

Nar he was fine the entire time. The Rock sadly was injured two weeks before Summerslam (half of my tag champs). Perfect time to turn it into Miz/Morrison vs Del Rio/Brodus Clay for the tag titles as the main event with The Miz replacing The Rock. I can then restart the feud between miz and del rio (as miz won the title from del rio).

I have completely revamped and overhauled my Universe going into WM.

Monday nights is now the home of WWE Superstars (using the RAW rosters).

CM Punk - WWE Champion carrying the WWE Attitude Era title belt.

Daniel Bryan - United States Champion

Black Gold - WWE Tag Team Champions

Dolph Ziggler - Cruiserweight Champion

TS Punk is the Royal Rumble winner and the #1 contender to CM Punks WWE Champion.

Friday night is now the home of WCW Starrcade (using the Smackdown rosters).

Randy Macho Man Savage - WCW Champion carrying the Classic WCW Championship title.

William Regal - Intercontinental Champion.

Long Island Funk - World Tag Team Champions.

Yoshi Tatsu - Lightheavyweight Champion.

Ricky the Dragon Steamboat won a 30 man Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the WCW Championship and will face Macho Man Randy Savage for the title at WM.

Thursday nights are now the home of Clash of the Champions. This show has 3 matches each week where 3 randomly selected champions will have to defend their title(s) against a randomly selected opponent(s) under randomly selected match stipulations. The inaugural episode saw Dolph Ziggler successfully defend the Cruiserweight Championship in a Best 2 out of 3 Falls match against Chavo Guerrero. The team of Black Gold defeated the Wolfpack to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Macho Man Randy Savage defeated Mason Ryan in a Extreme Rules match to retain his WCW Championship.

How do you get a Thursday show? Isn't it Monday, Tuesday, Friday?

Superstars is Thurs.

Every fucking week, no matter how many times I change the fucking match, they try & stick me with this stupid fucking Gabriel vs. Barrett & Sheamus match, why th fuck would I have a jobber on superstars wrestling one half the of tag champs & the #2 contender to the WHC? especially since none of these three have any reason to be involved with each other & Barrett is heel & Sheamus is face, this match makes zero fucking sense, & it's shit like this that annoys the fuck out of me with this game.

Thank god I have knowledge of this thread now.

I am not going to take hours looking back through the posts but is the only way to get HBK through DLC? Also this may sound strange but I just had quite possibly the best match I have ever played with Vader VS Mark Henry. The match was a good ten minutes long and it took 3 WSS to take down Vader after 3 reversals of his moonsault.

Does everyone follow the actual Universe mode or do you use your own innovations and build up your own feuds?

I would like to apoligize before hand, part of my text was copied from another post I made in another thread in the "Best WWE Game Thread" before I was able to make my own.

WWE 12, each year I play and try to make my own storylines that flow well never work, the AI system has always sucked and I have to put it as hard as it can go in each category for it to be a challenge. This year I am quite content and my storylines are flowing well along with balanced win/loss records. I personally do not try my hardest and go for a pinfall attempt after every huge move, I like to play relaxed and let the match take it's course.

IE: If the opponent seems weak enough for a pin I will hold off on it and get a Finishing Move ready and try to end it that way, sometimes it will be reversed into the opponents Finisher and I lose the match due to this, I actually really don't mind this at all. If it ends awesome I am satisfied and I continue wracking my brain with the next step story wise for each competitor.

I have a question to how people play this years edition, the universe mode is only good for so much, I like to be thinking of what matches and stories go together before the next PPV, just playing and not knowing until I get to the next PPV isnt good enough for me, I need to have some build up to think about. I use some of the storylines and follow some of the rankings but other then that I create my own ways and try to get alot of superstars some ring time each week.

I really would like to know how others play this, do you follow the Universe mode, which can get unrealistic and boring, or do you try to innovate your own methods of stories and play? How often do you play?
Anything would be appreciated

Fucking game has deleted all my damn tag teams again, this is the 4th fucking time this shit has happened. I literally just finished re-creating them last night from the last time this crap happened too, I'm about ready to just sell my copy of WWE 12 & just go out & pick up WWE 11. You'd think after creating over 20 wrestling games for WWE that THQ would know by now how to create a great WWE game without 325 glitches, fuck this game!

Had a pretty Stellar Wrestlemania 28 on my game recently actually. Won't get into every match but it really is satisfying and worth every penny spent on the game when you have awesome/reasonable matches, there is nothing worse when you hype up a big match while playing and it turns out absolutely horrible.

Had Zack Ryder VS Orton at Mania: Reason being storyline wise was Ryder had a couple of awesome matches with Orton months before and came up short of a victory over a superstar who's rankings are 20 ahead of him. Match was fast paced and not long at all, 7-8 minutes. I was Ryder, hit a moonsault through a table (first time connecting) and a rough rider to which Orton kicked out. I was hit with an RKO shortly after and lost. Impressed with the match.

I had Stone Cold vs Cena for one of the main events (not thinking it would be very good since they are so close in stats, I usually find the more even they are the worse the match as opposed to Ryder vs Orton, completely on different levels)
Back and forth for a good 12 minutes, both hit their finishers twice, I was Austin, didn't lose to the AA but another stupid move but the match over rid the ending.

Kofi(Rumble Winner) against Edge(wwe champ)- Extreme Rules- Good fast paced match seeing Edge come out victorious, nothing to special here, typical hardcore match, not as good as a normal match)

The Streak-Undertaker vs Dolph Ziggler: Another case of superstars being unmatched in stats, I was Dolph, this match was great, fast paced, kicked out of a chokeslam, a last ride and two tombstones, hit 3 Zig Zags and still couldn't put Taker away, finally he hit me with a third tombstone and that was it!

I just finished Over the Limit today, nothing great here at all, rather disappointing, Taker leaves with the World Title after beating Booker T, will spare you the deets. Setting up for Golddust vs Rhodes for Vengeance. Anything crazy happens I will post.

Anybody else have any awesome matches that they want to recall :p

I had a pretty incredible fatal four way match today with my CAW, Ziggler, Bryan and Rhodes. Rhodes gave me a gut kick and suddenly from our of nowhere Ziggler hits his fame-asser on me (I was super impressed that the AI pulled that combo off). Then Ziggler hit the sleeper on Cody which Bryan broke up. Suddenly, Cody got me in a rear waist lock, but Bryan broke it up and Ziggler hit the Zig Zag on me as my player exited the grapple. I was the only user in the game so was really impressed by the AI for once.

^^ Good Stuff!! I know what you mean! I am constantly impressed by the AI improvement in the game! Match sounded awesome! I will update some results of my next PPV:" Vengeance"(Substitute for The Bash) if they are worth it, the way the matches are going lately probably won't disappoint, I wish there was a way to upload them.

I had like a good 20 minute ladder match with the Old Kane and Undertaker. I controlled Kane but could not keep Taker down. It was like back and forth and many close battles. It was really fun to do. I hit several chokeslams, and Taker hit many tombstones but it was hard to climb ladder and retain belt... Taker would bounce up after chokeslams or he'd always struggle climbing ladder.

I am now approaching my 3rd royal rumble... I dont know who I want to win

I had such an entertaining Raw the week before Summerslam.

First match was Christian vs John Morrison (me as JoMo). After many many counters and reverses I got the win in a hard fought match.

Next up Punk (me) vs Batista. I got mostly dominated but managed to get around 3/4 of the finisher bar filled. Batista hit me with his signature near the end. I countered the Batista Bomb and hit the GTS for a two count. A couple of attacks and my signature was ready. Got the corner knee/bulldog and a second GTS for the three count.

Beer Money's experience in tag team matches got them the win against HHH/Austin. To spice things up i made the main event between Swagger/Ziggles against Foley/Taker a tables match. I got the win as Foley by shoving Ziggles off the apron into the awaiting table. After the match Kane/Big Show both made their returns, turned heel and attacked Foley/Taker. Foley/Taker became an official tag team after the match.

At Summerslam.

Brock Lesnar defeated CM Punk for the Hardcore title. I feel its time to push Punk up the card away from the mid card title so i won as Lesnar.

Daniel Bryan defeated The Undertaker (C), Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes to win the IC title. I was actually playing as Ziggles but at the end of the match Taker was tossing me around outside the ring, mean while in the ring DB got the submission victory on Rhodes.

In the third match Sheamus defeated Bully Ray in a simple match. Chris Jericho turned heel and attacked Sheamus afterwards.

The fourth match featured Randy Orton vs John Cena vs Batista in a triple threat hell in a cell with Batista picking up the win by making Cena submit to a bear hug.

Shawn Michaels vs Randy Savage in and Ironman Match was next. During Savage's entrance Scott Hall attacked him. As the match began Alberto Del Rio came out and also attacked Savage. HBK ended up winning 5-1.

Since Del Rio turned heel in the previous match the tag title main event was suddenly Del Rio/Morrison/Miz vs Brodus Clay... since that made no sense i turned Del Rio face and the tag title ladder match was underway. Del Rio managed to unhook the belts with ease to gain the victory for his team.

Damn the game almost ruined my perfect main event.

About to go into Wrestlemania, but had an amazing triple threat match on my Clash of the Champions show:

WWE Title Match - CM Punk (Me) defending against John Cena and The Patriot. Really back and forth match all the way from beginning to end that saw all three guys hit their finishers several times. Punk got the win after Cena hit the AA on Patriot, Punk grabbed Cena and made him tap out to the Anaconda Vice. After the match TS Punk hit the ring and beat down CM Punk with a lead pipe.

My matches set for WM are gonna be:

US Championship - Daniel Bryan(c) vs The Miz

Intercontinental Championship - William Regal(c) vs Cody Rhodes

Mixed Tag Team Match - Los Guerreros (Eddie/Chavo) w/Eve Torres vs The Wolfpack (HBK/Nash) w/Maryse

MITB - Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, R-Truth, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, and Christian

WCW Championship Iron man Match - Macho Man Randy Savage(c) vs Ricky the Dragon Steamboat

WWE Championship Extreme Rules Match - CM Punk(c) vs TS Punk(RR Winner)

I will post the results win I am done.

I just had a great match with Ziggler when I wrestled Edge. It was for the IC title. There was some near falls and Edge was about to hit the spear and I did the possum pin thing for the win. It was like 10 minutes long. The AI surprises me sometimes...

Tried making a TT with Delberto & Dibiase, middle of the match Berto tags in Dibiase, then grbas him & punches him knocking him out, he then leaves as Ted gets pinned & loses the match... so much for that TT...

My WM results:

Daniel Bryan beat The Miz when he made him submit to the Label Lock with 12 seconds left in the match.

Cody Rhodes became the new Intercontinental Champion beating William Regal with the Crossroads.

Los Guerreros w/Eve beat The Wolfpack w/Maryse in a tag team tables match, when Chavo put HBK through the table with a Frog Splash.

Chris Jericho won a shot at any champion he chooses after grabbing the briefcase and winning the MITB Ladder Match.

Ricky the Dragon Steamboat won the WCW Championship in match for the age! Probably my favorite match I have ever had in any wrestling game to date. 60 Minute Iron Man Match, The Dragon vs the Macho Man. Steamboat won 9-7.

TS Punk became the new WWE Champion after KOing CM Punk with the Muscle Buster on the Stage in a Falls Count Anywhere Extreme Rules Match.

wow my weekly shows have just been pouring out the star powered matches lately.

On Raw a week after Summerslam Taker pretty much squashed HBK. Del Rio/Brodus Clay retained their tag titles against Edge/Christian which led to a heel turn by Edge after the match. I made Mick Foley vs Kane into an extreme rules match which Foley won and finally Austin easily beat the world champion Miz.

On Smackdown Sheamus beat Chris Jericho, Orton came out after the match and laid Sheamus out with an RKO. Cody Rhodes beat Triple H in a IC title #1 contenders match, Lesnar (the hardcore champion) interfered during the match to help Rhodes, Daniel Bryan (IC Champion) who was injured by Lesnar the week earlier tried to stop Lesnar to no avail. Samoa Joe making his debut defeated Jack Swagger, Swagger/Ziggles/Vickie attacked him post match. In the main event John Cena defeated a returning Rock with The Rock getting injured again.

If only my PPV's were as interesting as my weekly tv shows :/

A week later Edge vs Christian remarkable rematch. Christian wins then post match turns heel himself (which turned Edge face) by doing the boot into head into ring post cutscene. lol.

Well, that was weird.....

I had Sting v Jeff Hardy as a "remarkable match", and Sting attacks Jeff from behind as he was making his way to the ring and piledrives him on top of the stage.

The match starts from the ramp and for some reason RIC FUCKING FLAIR is stood not moving in the ring?!?!

Sting thows Jeff into the ring, and Hardy runs and Flair and bulldogs him- Flair remains down the rest of the match, and Sting wins with the Scorpion Death Drop.

No mention of Flair on the card, he just randomly appeared in the ring, and 1 move later just stayed down. Flair didnt even get mentioned on the results??

Is that a glitch?

That... sounds... weird... I'm sure it was a glitch but... uhh..

Anyway after many great episodes of Raw and Smackdown I was already at night of champions.

It started off with the World Title match between Miz and Stone Cold Steve Austin as both are wrestling later tonight. Anyway Austin won the World Title with ease and hopefully now the World Title will mean something again.

Next up the rematch from Summerslam Randy Savage vs Shawn Michaels. Savage finally got the win against HBK to shut him up for good.

Next up an injured Daniel Bryan being forced to defend his IC title against Cody Rhodes. To add insult to injury the man that injured him Brock Lesnar came out during DB's entrance and laid him out. Rhodes got an easy victory to capture the IC title.

Up next Lesnar successfully defend the Hardcore title against HHH.

The first off two main events was Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay defending their tag titles in a rematch against Miz and John Morrison in a TLC. Unlike Summerslam Miz and Morrison put on allot better fight. Miz managed to win by unhooking the belts after knocking Del Rio off the ladder and through a table.

The main event was a Hell in a Cell between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Randy Orton against Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Orton and Austin kicked the living shit out of Nash and Hall all around the cage for a pretty much easy victory.

Awesome stuff guys literally getting me pumped up! Keep it coming. Im going to have some Vengeance results here soon when I get to play in a couple of days should be pretty good. So far ..
I have a rematch for the Intercontinental Title: Rhodes Vs Golddust (Rhodes is champ and Golddust defeated Ted Dibiase on Smackdown to become Number 1 Contender.

The U.S Title Kevin Nash(Champ) vs CM Punk vs Edge(Punk lost the title to Nash at Over the Limit and Edge beat Nash in a random match on Raw) Put the 3 intwined with the story into a match for the strap.

Just started the Tag Division up good, made a few teams. The current champs are Legion of Doom and they are going to have their first title defense against Vader&Mark Henry. AKA: Unstoppable

John Cena(WWE Champ) vs Stone Cold (IronMan) Final encounter between the two and Cena has not lost to Austin. Cena won the title from Kofi Kingston at Over the Limit and Kofi booked his rematch clause the following night on raw and cena won again.

Also as of right now it is looking like World Champ Undertaker will be defending against Big Show who won a Number 1 Contender battle royal against Orton,Ziggler,Barrett on Smackdown.

wow. A week before bragging rights on Raw.

Second match of the night Shawn Michaels vs John Morrison, HBK being the heel and Morrison being a face. HBK won after HHH interfered and attacked Morrison while the ref was down. After the match a two man beat down occurred. Miz who is still tag champs with Morrison and still a heel at that (and the world champion again after hell in a cell) ran down and saved Morrison turning face.

Next was Triple H vs Mick Foley. Miz attacked HHH during his entrance. Foley easily got the win. After the match HHH tried to attacked Foley. Daniel Bryan returning from injury came down to the ring and stopped the attack only for no apparent reason turned on Foley who he previously has had no interaction with at this point.

Looks like Miz, Austin and James Storm will be doing double duty at Bragging Rights.

Miz/Morrison defending the tag titles against HHH/HBK.
Storm/Roode vs Del Rio/Brodus Clay.
Austin/Orton vs Nash/Hall
Finally Miz vs Storm vs Austin for the World Title (Rematch from HiaC).
and I'll also add Jeff Hardy vs Chris Jericho for the Hardcore title
and Sheamus defending the IC title against Wade Barrett.

Ah. So it would appear all custom arenas come with the same titantron/ramp set up as RAW/SD/NXT/superstars/ every other show they dont care about having a unique look. Well, kinda defeats the purpose.
