All WWE '12 Discussion

Just lost a last man standing match after tripping over a fucking garbage can in the ring while trying to do a running close line on my opponent. That has got to be one of the lamest finishes to a match eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever.

Turns out, no one sells the RKO in a last man standing match. I RKOed Kurt Angle three times on to a chair and he got up after the two count, then, I Irish-whipped him into a ladder and dropkicked him and got the 10 count.

I've had people just pop up after hitting them with Orton's punt kick to the head, I move that knocks people out for months at a time & now people are just getting up as if it were nothing.

I have too many wrestlers, even with injuries I can never get them all on the shows, I really wish I could add either a 3rd brand or 4th show, also I wish I could get 2 more matches on both my RAW & SD! shows. Simple little stuff like that would help in making the game more fun in Universe mode.

Well just finished MITB PPV and my titles keep changing hands way to fast!

WWE Championship Steel Cage Match win via Pin fall, submission, or escape the Cage
CM Punk(c) vs Bret Hart
Winner Bret Hart via pin fall after hitting Punk with the Piledriver. Punk had the chance to escape the cage but tried for a Crossbody splash instead which he missed. He then had another chance to escape through the door but went for the Anaconda Vice submission and Hart escaped that. Finally Hart "hot shotted" Punk into the cage and then hit the Piledriver for the win.

Divas Championship Match
Eve(c) vs Natalya
Winner Eve via Pin Fall

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Long Island Funk(c) vs Arn Anderson and The Big Show

Is it just me, or do the online servers on Xbox 360 suck? Seriously, it takes so damn long to just set up a lobby, & I can barely download DLC. THQ needs to sort this type of thing out.

It's not just X-box, PS3 has similar issues. It's just THQ's crappy servers in general, I doubt they'll ever get fixed, they've had nearly 3 moths to fix this shit & have still not worked out all the bugs.

Well THQ really needs to take care of this shit. I mean they're gonna piss off a lot of gamers who in this day & age DEPEND on having a decent Online mode in their games.

I agree, & I'm pretty sure I wont be buying another WWE game from THQ for awhile. They really crapped the bed with this game.

Eh, not the best WWE/THQ game but not the worst. SvR08 will hold that spot for years to come.

But seriously guys, this shit is just unacceptable in this day & age.

They are absolutely the biggest piece of shit ever. I seriously have not been to connect to Xbox live on WWE 12 in at least week or more now. Seriously pisses me off that such an important aspect of the game never fucking works! :banghead:

Changed things up again after Summer Slam. Monday nights became RAW again, Thursday night became Heat, and Friday is the home of Smackdown again. The brandsplit is over but I still have two Major Champions in the Attitude Era Title and the Spinner Belt. Also will be defending the European, IC, and US titles at each PPV as well. Had 40 Man Royal Rumble Matches to declare new champions for each title. Heading into Night of Champions things are shaping up like this:

WWE Attitude Era Championship:
Daniel Bryan(c) vs CM Punk

WWE Spinner Championship:
John Cena(c) vs Golddust vs Vader

United States Championship Match:
Ultimate Warrior(c) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

European Championship Match:
Sheamus(c) vs William Regal

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Tyson Kidd(c) vs Bret Hart

WWE Tag Team Title Match:
Big Show/Arn Anderson vs Demolition

Results will come in the morning I'm sure.

That was another amusing ppv, that being TLC.

The opening match saw rivals Christian and David Otunga (forced into a team by Trish Stratus) defeating Miz and Morrison to win the tag titles. Otunga attacked Christian with the belts post match.

Punk vs Daniel Bryan (world title match) went to a no contest when Miz came out and attacked both men.

The main event saw Taker beating HHH (making it 2-2) in a steel cage match. Post match Batista and Kane reunited (they are a on-off tag team) and attacked Taker and HHH. The Raw afterwards Taker and HHH defeated Kane and Batista in a tag match. They shook hands post match but it wasn't a face turn for Taker. A week later it was HBK vs Taker. Sheamus interfered and attacked Taker, HBK joined in with HHH making the save. Thus a week later it was Sheamus and HBK (both faces) vs Heel Taker and Face HHH (who is still a tag team with HBK). /Logic

I also turned count outs off and made all matches have a time limit of 15 minutes just so nothing drags on or ends in a count out.

Another year, another Rumble. Once again i will list entrants and eliminations as I'm bored.

Match #1 Intercontinental Championship - Ladder Match: Sheamus (c) vs EdgeEdge won the match and the title after knocking Sheamus off the ladder.

Match #2 Unified Tag Team Championships: Christian and David Otunga (c) vs AJ Styles and Daniels Oh to the shock of no one Daniels turned on Styles which allowed Otunga to finish Styles off.

Womens Championship: Trish Stratus (c) vs Kharma
Trish picked up the win after nailing Kharma with the belt for the DQ

Hardcore Championship: Mick Foley (c) vs Mark Henry
Mark Henry got the surprising win after two worlds strongest slams onto a chair to win the championship.

WWE Championship TLC fatal four way: CM Punk (c) vs Daniel Bryan vs The Miz vs John Morrison
Bah Daniel Bryan won the title, wanted Punk to retain :S

The Royal Rumble

Winner - The Undertaker

Well that wasn't planned.. I'll have to wait another year for Sheamus to hopefully win it. I gotta say that was a successful ppv, three new champions and a new contender for the world title. I guess HHH vs Taker at Mania to finish their best of five series can be for the world title.

United States Championship Match:
Ultimate Warrior(c) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

European Championship Match:
Sheamus(c) vs William Regal

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Tyson Kidd(c) vs Bret Hart

WWE Tag Team Title Match:
Big Show/Arn Anderson vs Demolition

Results will come in the morning I'm sure.

CM Pun defeated Daniel Bryan to become the new WWE Attitude Era Champion in the best Steel Cage Match I have ever had in any game! Punk escaped the Label Lock several times, Bryan got up from about 3 different GTS's, neither man would allow the other to escape the cage, finally Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice to make Bryan tap out for the victory.

John Cena retained his WWE Spinner Championship by pinning Vader after hitting the AA. Golddust tried to stop Cena with a Steel Chair but Cena took it and knocked him out before pinning Vader.

The Ultimate Warrior destroyed Stone Cold Steve Austin to retain the US Championship.

Sheamus retained his European Championship beating William Regal in a First Blood Match.

Bret Hart with Natalya Hart at it side became the new Intercontinental Champion beating Tyson Kidd with the Sharpshooter.

Arn Anderson and the Big Show retained the WWE Championship beating Demolition.

The Elimination Chamber

Unified Tag Team Championships - David Otunga and Christian (c) vs Zack Ryder and John Cena

Pre-Match David Otunga actually jumped Christian then the match started and they realized they are tag champs and worked as unit to put Cena away for a while as they managed to injure him after several killswitches and whatever Otunga's finisher is called.

Winners and still Unified Tag Team Champions - Christian and David Otunga

Intercontinental Championship Tables Match - Edge (c) vs Sheamus
Rematch from the Rumble in Sheamus's specialty match this time round. After several tables failing to break Sheamus finally got the victory after a superplex into a double table stack.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion - Sheamus

Tornado Tag - Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger vs Booker T and Goldust
Now this is something new. On superstars Booker and Goldust attacked Ziggles. The following week they jumped Swagger. When they tried to attack Rhodes a week later Swagger and Ziggles made the save thus setting this up. For the match itself Booker and Goldust dominated and simultaneously pinned Swagger/Ziggles to pick up the victory.

Winners - Booker T and Goldust

Hardcore Championship - Mark Henry (c) vs Shawn Michaels
So Henry and Vader were jumping HBK and HHH. Henry was jumping HBK more thus setting up this championship match. Despite HBK's best effort he was no match for Henry who ended it to retain after 2 Worlds Strongest Slams on a chair.

Winner and still Hardcore Champion Mark Henry

Undertaker vs Vader
Now this ties into the last match. With Henry and Vader jumping HHH and HBK the also heel Taker (who is now in a friendly rivalry with HHH) saved both and turned face which set up this match. Taker won with ease to send the rumble winner to mania looking strong.

Winner - Undertaker

Elimination Chamber WWE Championship - Daniel Bryan (c) vs CM Punk vs John Morrison vs The Miz vs AJ Styles vs Triple H
Miz was Champion, DB won the title, Punk cashed in MitB on DB and turned heel. DB won it back. Morrison and Styles got wins over DB/Miz/Punk and HHH is here to win because HHH vs Taker part 5 is going to happen for the title as there is no other choice now.

For the match. DB and Morrison started the match. Me as HHH entered 3rd. Miz 4th nothing really is happening. Punk is out 5th still nothing. Styles out 6th and I eliminate Punk after a Pedigree. DB makes Morrison tap with the Label lock. Styles Clash ended the Miz. A Pedigree and what ever Styles top rope finisher is called end DB. A Pedigree ends Styles to make HHH the new Champion.

Winner and new WWE Champion - Triple H

Well that sets up the final match in HHH/Taker's best of five series (which would of ended at Mania whether Taker had won the Rumble or not) Since Taker did win the logical solution is to put the title on Taker.

WWE Championship vs The Streak - Triple H (c) vs The Undertaker

Looking forward to it. Now to work out the rest of the card... (I have Punk vs DB planned but nothing else really).

Just finished up Hell In A Cell PPV:

Steel Cage Match to name #1 Contender for the WWE Attitude Era Championship:Sheamus vs Jericho vs Daniel Bryan
Winner: Jericho escaping the cage after hitting The Codebreaker on both Sheamus and Bryan

United States Championship Last Man Standing Match: Ultimate Warrior(c) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin
This was the feud ending match between these two men as the Warrior was carried off on a stretcher after not being able to stand up before the 10 count. Austin had to deliver about 5 Stunners to the Warrior and put him through the announcers table to finally keep him down for the count.

World Tag Team Championship Match: Los Guerreros vs Arn Anderson/Big Show(c)
Winners: Los Guerreros becoming the new World Tag Team Champions.

WWE Attitude Era Championship HIAC Match: CM Punk(c) vs Bret Hit Man Hart (IC)
Winner: CM Punk, after driving Hart through the cell wall both men scaled the cage and battle for about 20 minutes on top of cage before Punk Powerbombed Hart from the top of the cage. Punk then rolled Hart into the ring locked in the Anaconda Vice and easily got the tap out submission victory.

WWE Spinner Belt Championship HIAC Match: John Cena(c) vs The Patriot
Winner: New WWE Spinner Belt Champion The Patriot. Brtual match that saw Cena busted open early and taking a beating the likes of which few have ever seen. The battle never left the confines of the cage like Punk vs Hart, but it was none the less brutal. After the match Cena raised the hand of the new Champion showing great respect to his opponent, as I am sure these two men will meet again.

Alright just got through with Bragging Rights and here we go:

United States Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin(c) vs Mark Henry
Winner: SCSA
After beating the Ultimate Warrior and putting him out of action SCSA was attacked on Smackdown by the Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry. Over the weeks prior to Bragging Rights the two faced off in tag team matches but in this first one on one encounter the Texas Rattlesnake was able to hold of the Monster Henry, hitting him with 3 consecutive Stone Cold Stunners to secure the victory and retain the US Championship.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Arn Anderson/Big Show(c) vs Long Island Funk
Winners: New WWE Tag Team Champions Long Island Funk
Anderson and Show lost the World Tag Team titles to Los Guerreros at HIAC but then captured the WWE Tag Titles from The Wolfpack on the following Smackdown. Zack Ryder then returned to action with his tag team partner the Funkasaurus and challenged the newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions to a rematch for the titles they never received. Ryder won a One on One contest with Arn Anderson to earn the match and the scored the pin fall victory over Anderson to regain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Six Man Tag Team Bragging Rights Match: Sheamus/Legion of Doom vs Vader/Demolition
Winners: Sheamus/Legion of Doom
Sheamus dominated everyone on his opposing team only tagging in the Road Warriors sparingly. Sheamus got the win after hitting the Brogue Kick on Vader.

Best Two out of Three Falls for the WWE Spinner Belt Championship: The Patriot(c) vs John Cena
Winner: The Patriot 2-1 over Cena
The Patriot got the first pin fall early on after a nonstop assault on Cena and then hitting the Full Nelson Slam for the win. Cena one the second fall barely after the Patriot struggled forever but could not escape the STFU. The Patriot then scored the win and final pin after hit a massive full body splash from the top rope.

US Champion #1 Contenders Match Battle Royal: Savage vs Mysterio vs Steamboat vs Sin Cara vs Christian vs Lesnar
Brock Lesnar was the last man standing in the ring eliminating all the other competitors in the match to become the new #1 contender for SCSA's US Championship.

WWE Attitude Era Championship Triple Threat Match: CM Punk(c) vs Bret Hart vs Chris Jericho
Winner: CM Punk
Punk has to give Hart another shot at the title after how closely contested their match at HIAC was. Jericho has won the #1 contenders slot so thats how the Triple Threat Match came about. After about a 30 plus minute bout Punk was able to hit the GTS on Bret and then locked the Anaconda Vice in on Jericho to score the submission victory.

Mark Henry was put on my jobber for life list. A week after the elimination chamber he injured The Undertaker. Oh i jobbed him out to my CAW Frank West for the Hardcore title the next week and attacked him so much he himself also got injured. Take that.

So my new main event for Wrestlemania is Shawn Michaels taking on HHH for the title.

Also the night my CAW won the hardcore title the main event was Punk and ??? vs Frank West and ???. Punk's partner was Mr Perfect while Frank Wests partner was Michael McGillicutty. I found that amusing. Also McCool became the valet of My CAW and McGillicutty after they won the match apparently. Sure why not. ooo there is my third mania match, My CAW & McGillicutty vs Otunga and Christian for the Tag Titles. That vaguely makes sense.

Why is there no option to set Dashing Cody Rhodes as the default i hate having to edit the match just to make him dashing.. (or is there and i've just missed it completely).

Oh wow what a Wrestlemania.

Last Man Standing - CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan
Well what was meant to be the main event for the world title is now the opening. Oh well. So the story for this is Punk cashed in MitB on DB and turned heel. DB won the title back but lost it in the EC to HHH. Thus these two still need to end their feud so here we are.

This was a great back and forth match with DB kicking out of several GTS's and Punk getting up after 3 label locks. The match ended when Punk dived from the top ropes through DB on the announcers table. DB was unable to make the 10 count. After the match Punk extended his hand to DB who accepted it thus turning Punk face once more.
Winner - CM Punk

Unified Tag Team Championship - David Otunga and Christian (c) vs Frank West CAW and Michael McGullicutty
Frank West handled both Otunga and Christian for the entire match. McGullicutty tagged himself in near the end and scored the pinfall on Christian to win the tag titles.
Winners and new Unified Tag team Champions - Frank West & Michael McGullicutty

Grudge Match Beth Phoenix & Angel CAW vs Trish Stratus & Michelle McCool
This ties in with the tag titles as Beth&Angel are in the same stable as Frank&McGullicutty while Trish&McCool are with Otunga/Christian. Anyway Beth picked up an easy win over McCool in 2 minutes.
Winners - Angel and Beth Phoenix

Intercontinental Championship Pinfall & Submission Six Man Battle Royal - Sheamus (c) vs Edge vs Booker T vs Goldust vs Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler
Edge eliminated Swagger early with a Spear. Ziggles and Edge hit a Zig Zag and Spear on Goldust to eliminate him. Booker was gone soon after a High Cross. The next part took forever. Edge, Ziggles and Sheamus all hit numerous finishers on each other. Ending came with Sheamus getting a backbreaker on Ziggles, pinning him. He got up and countered a spear into a brogue kick.
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion - Sheamus

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Randy Orton. Rattlesnake vs Viper
Austin hasn't wrestled since Summerslam last year, Orton hasn't been around for a good two years. I figured this would make a good match as i had nothing else for the card.
Winner - Randy Orton

WWE Championship Hell in a Cell - Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels
This was meant to be Punk vs DB or Sheamus. Then HHH vs Taker when Taker won the rumble ruining my plans. Then Taker got injured leading to a HBK heel turn to challenge HHH for the title. Before the match starts Vince fucking McMahon comes out and points at the entrance ramp AND THE UNDERTAKER RETURNS!! The match is now a triple threat match.

WWE Championship Hell in a Cell - Triple H (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker
Fantastic match. It started with HHH & HBK teaming up on Taker until he was down. They then went at it. Taker quickly recovered and took over. For the next 10 minutes all three went back and forth. The ending came when HBK countered a pedigree and hit sweet chin music on HHH. Taker then nab HBK for a chokeslam. HHH was quickly up but took a Tombstone. Taker pinned HHH to become the new WWE Champion.
Winner and new WWE Champion - The Undertaker

I gotta say I'm happy with that. Punk turned face, my CAW is ever so closer to the main event with the hardcore and tag titles under his possession. Sheamus sadly is still IC champion and will have to wait a bit before getting his main event push. Kind of sad that there was no room for Del Rio, Miz, Morrison, James Storm or Robert Roode. Just not enough spaces on the card..

So THQ has said that no more DLC's will be released for WWE 12 :banghead:

This is bullshit! I never got a chance to get The Rock on this game because I couldn't afford to get it when it first came out! Fuck you THQ!!

So THQ has said that no more DLC's will be released for WWE 12 :banghead:

That's fucking stupid, there are still tons of wrestlers that they could add to the game...

-Jericho
-John Laurinitis
-Primo
-Epico
-AJ Lee
-Jimmy Uso
-Jey Uso
-Dean Milinko
-DDP
-Doink
-JBL
-Lance Storm
-Lita
-Sable
-Tajiri
-Bam Bam Bigelow

I swear once you think THQ couldn't possibly fuck this up anymore they some manage to do so.

Ya'll do realize THQ is on very tenuous ground, right? I wouldn't expect much of anything out of them.

Well it's poor decisions like this that helpped put them in the position they're in, the fans of the game shouldn't have to suffer for THQ's endless poor decision making.

Keep in mind, this all happened in one day, 4 hours to be exact. So I think I officially became bored in my Universe and decided to create myself. The only times I created myself was for Legends of WrestleMania and All-Stars. After creating myself, I decided to take a stab at the Universe.

I started on my Friday brand, WCW (Nitro). I simulated most of the weekly shows until I saw my character in the Number One Contender’s Match. Won that. I got a Title shot at Friday’s Major Title, the World Champion, Macho Man Randy Savage. Won that.

Then I simulated all of the weekly shows till I got a shot at Friday’s Minor Title, the WCW Champion, Vader. Won that.

Then I moved myself to my Monday brand, WWE (SuperStars). I simulated all of the weekly shows till I got a shot at Monday’s Major Title, the Undisputed Champion, Triple H. Won that.

Then I simulated all of the weekly shows till I got a shot at Monday’s Minor Title, the Attitude Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Won that.

Then I decided to copy myself and create a Tag Team of myself and…myself. I simulated all of the weekly shows till I got a shot at Tag Team Titles, the Unified Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian (not the DLC / Classic versions, for obvious reason). Won that.

Then I decided to do the hardest achievement as for as the CAWs are concerned, win Money In The Bank. Attempt one, fail. Attempt two, success!! Cashed in. Won that.

So in a matter of 4 hours, I managed to capture the following achievements:
Start as a Pro
I’m Gonna be Champion
First Step of a Glorious Career
Rolling Now!
I Like Titles
The Birth of a Historic Tag Team
Grand Slam Champion
I Ain’t Losing to Anyone
Mr. Money In The Bank
A Successful Cash In

I’m bored again.
