Kurt Angle back in WWE was a pretty decent surprise too. Of course everything that happened afterwards is debatable but eh this place seemed a bit more merry at the time.

Usos should really be nominated for group/tag team, they successfully reinvented themselves after seemingly getting kind of stuck in a gimmick that overstayed it's welcome a bit.

Agreed 100%. I hated them for the longest time. Now they're cool.

I forgot about The List of Jericho for Angle of the Year, it was fun and just classic Y2J and I also can't believe I forgot about the Festival of Friendship for Promo of the Year.

Dumbest Moment of the Year (new):

Kazuchika Okada and Katsuyori Shibata trading headbutts
Jinder Mahal becomes WWE Champion
Goldberg headbutting a door
Vince McMahon restarting the XFL

The first two of those just stuck out at me. For Okada vs. Shibata, for me, it ruined a great match because it was so insanely fucking stupid. It wasn't just a headbutt ala Kevin Owens headbutting Vince McMahon, these two were just smashing their heads together as hard as they could after all the shit that's come out regarding concussions in sports.

As for Goldberg, the guy came off like some dumbass lunk in the gym, even more so than usual, as he headbutted a door, the door to his dressing room, as he was coming out for his entrance; the dumbass cut himself open and knocked himself woozy for a bit.

My choices for some of them. I can't really think of any clear cut choices for the others right now (at 3:30 AM on Christmas Morning) so I skipped them.

1. Wrestler of the Year
For me this is The Miz. AJ Styles is a close 2, but Miz has been on fire the entire year, even when not given the big angles. How he hasn't been WWE/Universal Champ in the past 2 years is beyond me.
2. Promo of the Year
Anything John Cena did during his Roman Reigns feud.
3. Worst Wrestler of the Year
How this isn't Enzo Amore is beyond me.
4. Surprise of the Year
Jinder Majal winning the WWE Championship one month after being nothing but a Jobber has to be the biggest surprise.
5. Group/Tag Team of the Year
Authors of Pain
7. Moment of the Year
Teddy Long thinking he's the new RAW GM. "My Bad."
8. Best Angle of the Year

I'll second that nomination for Enzo being nominated for worst wrestler simply because I want to talk about why he isn't (at the very real risk that he wins it).
