2014 NHL Playoffs LD

Sniff Sniff, smells like OT in Minnesota. Even if they lose, Wild have shown they are a force not to underestimate.

I'm hoping the Kings can stretch this to Game 7. Lord knows I want a rematch with the Hawks.

Anytime a Boston team loses it's a good day.

Kings are back in the Conference finals for the third straight year, in a rematch with Chicago no less. Man the boys won't lay down in these elimination games.

And so ends the amazing 26 yr. career of Teemu Selanne. Absolute class shown by the LA Kings, & Kings fans tonight.

He was the only reason why I was cheering for the Ducks over the Kings. He's played since before I was born(by 1 year). Still holds the record for goals by a rookie and with the new goaltending we have compared to the 90's, I feel it will last for a long time. See you in 5 years Teemu, in the H.o.F..

I don't think I've ever been happier to see the New York Rangers score seven goals in one game. I wonder if the Canadiens fans were singing "ole" at the Bell Center today?

So saddened to hear of the unfortunate turn of events for Carey Price and the Montreal Canadiens. Out for the rest of the series with the Rangers. Now they'll have to go the rest of the series with the ever competent Peter Budaj. Which is really too bad, I was really hoping for an extended run by the Habs, culminating with a Stanley Cup victory, possibly even in the Bell Center, complete with chants of Ole Ole. Now it appears that this may be on hold for yet another season. Yeah right lol. I hope they don't win another game, and the margin of victory in the remaining games only gets worse than it was in game one. Go Rangers, at least for another week or so. Then go Western Conference Champion in the Finals!!

Sucks for Price and for Habs fans, but man, the fans trying to chalk this up to being some intentional intent to injure by Kreider need to get a clue.

Going in skates up is ugly, but the play was accidental and at high very high speed. It's nearly impossible to control how you fall at that speed, and that close to the net. Split-second decision at best, and even then, probably still out of his control.

Derek Stepan out indefinitely with a broken jaw after a late hit by Brandon Prust who is now scheduled for a phone hearing with the league (allows the NHL to suspend up upward of five games).

Dan Carcillo is also going to receive a lengthy suspension under Category II Abuse of an Official after this incident:
