I am a die hard Steeler fan but i was always a fan of Young, Rice, and Montana, even though they arent there, that doesnt give me a right not to cheer for a team that i once cheered for unless they were playing the Steelers.

He had rights, did you see what they are doing? Moss, Brady, Welker look unstoppable. They destroyed there only test in the NFC in Dallas and that was on the Road.
They got manhandled on both sides of the ball, there d-line got manhandled and blown off the ball, and Ben was getting pressured every play. that game showed off his ability to create and manage a game even after having a bad first half. He made plays when they needed to and that is all that matters, there Defense is too blame for that game, same with the atrocious 0-line.
Not if Baltimore did the same thing to there offense as they did last yr. i believe it was combined of 15 sacks in two games. Ben will be scrambling for his life. Thats not good because the Line is worse this year than last year.
There defense is highly overrated, Ben carries that team, you would know if you watch the game. I am not saying you havent seen steeler football, but 30 second high lights never look good for the losing team. The Pats will pass all over us because Polamalu cant cover and our D-Backs are under sized. Moss would have a field day. The only reason why that game would be close if it is, is because of Ben carrying that team and making plays. Also for the Colts there offensive line is good and they would man handle everyone except Hampton or Smith, the two most underrated line man in football, and Peyton has his big game experience now, he would probably have the same success as Brady will and is going to have.
I am not saying Alex Smith wont be good i just dont see him doing anything in the next couple of years, he is quite young, his system in college was a lot different than in San Francisco. NFL is a different experience than CFB. I cant be critical on Smith because the only positive thing on that offense is Frank Gore. A running back cant carry that team so i dont expect results until Smith has a few more years under his belt, and they get players that are accustomed to a west coast system, and when there rookies develop to there potential, but that doesnt happen for many years.
I have watched a total of about 3 games with the Steelers this year..(vs Niners, vs Bills and vs Cardinals)....and I don't think the Steel Crew are in a bad spot at all...most teams would kill to be where the Steelers are...but I have to respectfully disagree with you and say that the Steelers defense will and forever always be a threat in the NFL, they will not ever slide below the 15 mark is what Im saying so there will be days when they play like Triple-H and there will be days they play like Gillberg....(hahah like my examples). ..The Ravens suck really badly on the road and the Niners would have beaten them had they made the field goal but the Ravens proved that they suck on the road last week and every week they have played since week 1.
