12/21 Raw LD: Raw gets DAMONIZED!

I'm writing because The Little People's Court on Raw tonight was one of the stupidest things I've seen on Raw ever. I've put up with Raw for say 11 years now and I've seen some dumb things but nothing that is even on this level. Go back to having some damn wrestling and not these stupid things with Hornswoggle and DX. Save that crap and put it on WWE.COM so the people who wanna watch which is probably kids 10 and under can watch and people who've stuck with you for years can see what they watch to see which is WRESTLING!

Was the Little Peoples Court really that bad, Sid? Was it really worth all the pissing and moaning? I don't think so. In fact, I was mildly amused.

I'm still holding off on a decision to send a complaint, I'll probably wait till the end of the night, but I did get a small laugh at the end of the segment, it's just the fact that the whole thing is ridiculous and unnecessary. Not to mention they made little people look like something they aren't.

And the fact there is still no sign of Sheamus. Great to see such an important agenda.

There was no positive to that segment. Not a single one.

I disagree here. I found the beginning and end to be mildly amusing. However, the court section was offensive and boring, not a good combination.

It's that all of you complaining are on high horses and acting like you're too high-brow for this. It's professional wrestling and the WWE. Shit like this is going to happen. All of you have the option to go ahead and change the channel, but you decide to sit there and complain, not giving the WWE any credit, such as running an awesome six man tag earlier.

Not to mention, this is nothing compared to some of the stuff earlier this decade, or what I did on another forum last night and do a live discussion on WCW New Blood Rising, which is one of the worst PPVs ever put on. Read detailed results of that, so many bad matches/angles.

All of you who are complaining and seeking green rep by writing grammatically horrendous "letters to the WWE" need to take ten seconds and relax. We're getting Bret Hart in two weeks. I consider this a small price to pay for some awesomeness come January 4th.

How hypocritical of you. Perhaps the other and I really do think that segment was a serious contender for worst segment in Raw history? Why should we agree with you over X or KB? Not that it matters, I have my own opinions.

The fact that it was a terrible segment had nothing to do with either of those posters.

Huh? That segment was being blasted weeks before it even aired by everyone in the WWE section. I really doubt KB and I's opinions matter that much to these random people in this LD.

Sorry but sometimes I think some of you guys are trying TOO hard to stick up for the WWE because of how much negativity there is on the IWC. It's like you guys have to make up for all of the negative shit Sid says by sticking up for every terrible idea the WWE has. There was no positive to that segment. Not a single one.

Seriously, SGT. SLAUGHTER has had more face time so far on this Raw than the World Champion.

OK, even if it weren't for you or Sid or KB, WWE would still have been slammed for that and it is exactly as you say. It is now fashionable to criticize everything that you see from the WWE. Not just from the IWC but from everywhere. I don't think I am trying to hard. Honestly, I thought it was OK. It amused me slightly and I don't think it was bad enough that people should go to the lengths that they are right now. I think I am a very honest wrestling fan and if something sucks, I will say so. However, that honestly wasn't that bad.

It just typifies how people see the industry now, IMO.

I do agree about Sheamus though. WTF is happening with him?

I've been a fan of the WWE since I was 6 years old. I' m 26 now. In all my years of viewing WWE programming, I've never seen a segment that made me consider my choice in wrestling entertainment. The "Little People's Court" segment has done that. I've watched RAW since it's inception. I watched the Mae Young segment with Mark Henry where she gave birth to a hand. I watched the Katie Vick angle. I even watched the Dr. Vince segment about Jim Ross. And none of those segments pale in comparison to the downright ignorance that this segment produces.

I know the WWE "Universe" as you like to call us mainly supports your efforts and most of our complaints fall on deaf ears, but I want to make it abundantly clear that I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars on your merchandise over the years. We're talking figures, DVD's, videotapes, T-Shirts, PPV buys, ticket sales, etc. I think that the WWE should reconsider it's writing team and have a long look at what they put on TV before something is put to air. Thanks for your time.

The point of a wrestling show isn't to mildly amuse you with completely random and unrelated comedy sketches. It's to sell the story of feuds to you to make you want to watch more and buy more of their product. Unless they're planning on Hornswoggle vs. DX at Wrestlemania, I think it's safe to say the only point of that segment was to make Vince laugh. Because, you know, midgets are funny naturally because they're handicapped. Always fun to laugh at the handicapped.
