Xbox 360: Madden 2010: Franchise Sign-Up

I'm not out-thinking the Jags.. however, something tells me Big P's Jets will have a lot to say about how that original game ended. This could be very tight, or very one-sided all depending on how much the Jets are looking for revenge in what could've easily been an AFC title game in New York's blistering cold weather.. instead of Jacksonville's summer-styled surroundings.

As for the NFC, the same thing applies. Baller's Cardinals are on a roll, but his victory over the Vikings originally wasn't against Ty completely. So I look for the outcome to possibly be different. I'm not saying Ty will dominate or definitely win, but if Baller is thinking of a repeat.. he might be thinking wrongly.

Ty is too good to allow that to happen, if you want to beat him you need to earn it. My guess is Jets vs Vikings. Both don't need to fluke plays or one quitting early to win. That and Big P has the best run defense I have seen of anybody here. I don't see the Jags running much on him.

What happened in the past is the past. My team lost the game, and as such, I have to play in Jacksonville for the right to go to the Super Bowl. I am not going to fret about it, because at the end of the day, I believe that I can win the game, regardless of where it is played. In fact, warm weather/no snow could end up helping my Jets and their passing game.

If this game is anything like my game with Moon Knight, then I wish we could have people watching it, because it was an amazing contest. I had a 14 point lead (he threw 2 picks, one in the Red Zone, and one deep in his own zone, both of which really shifted momentum), and Moon Knight scored with 2 minutes to go. He kicked deep (he still had 2 timeouts), forced a 3 and out, and got the ball to midfield before I was able to tackle him in bounds with 7 seconds on the clock, and he was unable to get another snap. Obviously for my sake I hope this game isn't that competitive, because I want to win, and easy wins are better then close games.

Love Song Writer, good luck when we play (not really, I hope Garrard, MJD, and your entire offensive line gets hurt), and good luck to Ty and Baller in the NFC, hopefully I get to play one of you soon.

Thanks, good luck to you too. I am not taking Ty lightly in anyway, i know he was taking care of his kid during the game. I am going to play the same way I played Will and hopefully make Ty get rid of his run game by halftime.

Baller, the key in our game was turnovers. If I didn't surrender my running game when I fell down by 17+, the outcome may have been different.

I know since both of us won our division's we'll be meeting up in the regular season once again next year. I'm circling it on the game calendar. Consider your playmakers on notice.. you better take out insurance polices on them, ask around.. I have a way to force injuries. Carolina is pissed and will be seeking revenge.

Side Note for Next SEASON:

Anyone who wants to join in time for the off-season and the rebuilding process for your teams for next season - get in contact with me. We only have the Two Championship games and Superbowl left. In theory, we should begin our off-season program by this coming week.

ANYONE who wants to join.. I need gamertags and the team you'd like to use. I'll then send you the invite, if you can't find it within this thread toward the front couple of pages.

I know Christian Battlez was wanting back in, but didn't know which team. I also knew Shocky & Harthan were interested but haven't heard from either since.

Some interesting (guaranteed) Regular Season match-ups to look forward to.

Brian v. Baller, Ty & Will.
Ty v. Will, Baller & Brian.
Baller v. Will, Ty & Brian, possibly Marquis.
Marquis v. Simpsons_fanatic, possibly Baller.

And Brian there is no need to kill the computer it gets boring. Plus I did kill Ty and Love Song Writer the 2 lives games i played in regular season and i beat will handily in the playoffs.

We're down to two games, four human players. I don't have a current deadline because I fully EXPECT everyone to get their games played and workout a proper schedule and time to play one another.

The 4 remaining individuals are typically always online at night, so I don't see any reason why any of you can't get your game in by Monday-Tuesday night. If not even sooner.

I would greatly like to get the off-season in gear, but before we get there.. we need a Superbowl winner.

As for the Draft in the off-season, almost ALL of us are online at night.. so I would say a general timeline around 7pm-8pm (central time zone) - from then until its finished, should work. If anyone has any issues with this, I need to know them.. NOW.. before its too late to re-work something out.

Uhhuh. Killing the computer may be boring, but its not even something you should have to try too do.

i could easily beat the computer like that but i like the last minute drama and it will be handy if the nfc title game comes down to the wire

Baller, I don't know what you're talking about now. In complete honesty, you beat me once in our league (playoffs) and once in a random game. I've also beaten you to the point you asked for mercy.. and we caught you simming your game against Green Bay in the Wildcard.

While I don't know if anyone else has done it.. from now on, NO simming of games. If you aren't here to play (cpu or otherwise), then I don't know why you're here to begin with.

I wouldn't of even brought this up, but you going on about liking "close games" has force fed me enough BS for one night. I don't know how many close games you've ever been in, unless you count games like the one you simmed.. then told us you have simmed others, until you begin to lose.. at which point you re-take control and win the game yourself.

That shows me a complete LACK of confidence in yourself, to play the cpu either well.. or good enough.. to win an entire game. I'm quite sure you can play a full game, but once again why you sim it is beyond me. And if you say "boredom", then I ask once again.. why are you here?

Not trying to point you out, but the simming of games really pissed me off when I found out about it.. and its clearly stuck with me still. So no more.

I maybe a bit busy this coming week so I am not 100% sure I can do it then if the draft is then. If not no problems, just letting you know.

Will i simmed the last regular season game not the playoff game and i simmed it because i had already clinched the 4 seed and it made no difference whether i won or lost

Drama, simming. You're just bad. Its okay, though. You've just got some of the best weapons to make up for it.
